He's spent his life cherry picking facts and evidence for a predetermined outcome and broad generalisations to support a side rather than inform an audience. A big Chinese port bans Australian coal, and the dollar falls

Reports that the port of Dalian had ruled out accepting Australian coal has fuelled fears that diplomatic tensions are rising again.
The Australian dollar fell 1 per cent on Thursday as news that a major Chinese port had banned imports of Australian coal, fuelling fears that diplomatic tensions were hitting Australia's second largest export.

 Trade Minister Simon Birmingham told Senate Estimates 75-year there was no evidence to support claims the slow down in coal imports was linked to diplomatic tensions.

 The reports on a Chinese steel industry website said only Russian and Indonesian thermal coal would now be imported.

One could well ask the influence Murdoch Media had in this matter then given they've spent so much time being the voice of anti- China in Australia. Remember when Andrew Robb was the great Abbott hero putting his signature to all the agreements put in place by the ALP. Gunmen have been shooting up Melbourne they are neither refugees, nor any of Andrew Bolt's pet hates Muslims, Africans, refugees etc. so he just ignores them as if they don't count in his list of deplorable.
Of course Bolt could try to turn this into another Smollet story calling it fake news as he has 90% of media stories that suggest Trump might have had some indirect involvement in enabling the increased episodes of White Nationalist violence in America and the was a coincidence that this naval officer was intent on killing Democrats and Journalists. Unfortunately when you spread hates fear and anger with the power of a POTUS you reap what you sow and it's White Nationalists rate of terror that has been on the fastest rise not any other.

Sky News after dark is little more than the camp followers of Fox News when talking about Trump and America. Add a little plagiarism from Breitbart, Powerline, the Daily Caller, and some other right-wing rags you will find Andrew Bolt's international perspective. Basically, he's trying to be Carlson, Hannity down under but just hasn't the presence the Americans have free of the autocue.
Remember when Bolt tried to have us believe he worked 80 hours a week. Well, he doesn't work on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

HOW CAN ABC'S TINGLE TELL THIS UNTRUTH?

HOW GLENCORE FOOLED THE WARMISTS

Let's unpick the spin of two issues yesterday. First, remember the Prime Minister telling you immigration was falling? Fact: new figures show it's soaring - to an insane 290,000 a year. The hate of immigrants of a particular kind is reflected in Bolt's not liking the Chinese. His disparagement of their investing here was heard to some degree and reflected in their reaction to that Sino- hatred with a cut to Australian coal and an immediate result in the drop in our dollar. Bolt's such a good public relations person isn't he for the Australian economy. Typical of conservative management.
 Yesterday he was on about Glencore he was pissed. Today he claims they are merely spoofing the warmists when in fact they and all the big players in the field are in the phase of transitioning away from coal. They however like Rio Tinto, BHP, AGL don't think it's future is as good as it was and all are moving away. Hey Bolt they can't all be faking it can they?
Bolt can't be seen to be bagging any of them too much as they are News Corp clients. His problem, he doesn't understand the meaning of the word "transitioning". So he just does what he does most of the time repeating himself over and over in the hope of being heard and convincing someone that coal is good.
 He gave the Chinese an easy target to which to send a lesson because of his message they were unwelcome. They sent one back that coal wasn't as good as Bolt thought by a degree of 8%. They can rock our economy whenever they want and Murdoch media's message has been clear and negative.
Bolt's lesson is that word transitioning again with China "not transitioning" away from Australian coal but turning it off if they want. The point they didn't do it with anyone else did they? Thanks for the help of you bigotry Andrew Bolt and your assistance in its crash.
