Official's first-hand account of Trump Ukraine phone call
Alexander Vindman is the first witness in the House's impeachment probe to have listened in on the July 25 call

Account of Trump's Ukraine call omitted key details, official testifies
Lt.
Col. Alexander Vindman, who listened to President Trump's Ukraine call,
said the White House transcript of a July call between President Donald Trump
and Ukraine's President omitted crucial words and phrases, and that his
attempts to restore them failed, according to three people familiar
with the testimony.
It is not clear why some of Vindman's changes were not made, while
others he recommended were, but the decision by a White House lawyer to
quickly lock down the reconstructed transcript subverted the normal
process of handling such documents.
"I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a US citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the US government's support of Ukraine," according to his opening remarks. He added, "This would all undermine US national security."
In the whistleblower complaint that was made public, the CIA officer
wrote that placing the rough transcript in the server was part of an
effort to lock it down, restrict access and a sign that "White House
officials understood the gravity of what had transpired in the call."
WA coal 'in crisis', MP says, as major mine losing $6m a month teeters on the brink

One of WA's biggest electricity generators is making moves to ensure it has the power to take control of a loss-making coal mine, sparking fears for jobs and energy security.FAKE and TWISTED NEWS
CRAZED ANTI-MINING PROTESTERS AGAINST A MINE TO HELP MAKE SOLAR PANELS
Terry McCrann on crazed climate protesters in Melbourne: "Stuart Jones ... and his company are ‘climate criminals’ to those loitering Jeff’s shed idiots... Jones was down at the IMARC mining conference ... to sell his [lithium] project... That’s about a product without which we wouldn’t have solar panels."
Generalising from a single selectively chosen case to broad speculation about the protest is what's known as Bolt logic. It's probably why Bolt never did comleter his University course.
Stuart Jones just happened to be one person at the Mining Conference along with a wide cast of attendees the majority of whom weren't there to promote the interests of clean energy. Still, then McCrann and Bolt choose to create fake news to broadcast their message, and it doesn't come without cost.
NEW LAW TO HELP LABOR AND STOP POOR PALMER FROM WASTING MONEY
Queensland's Labor Government smells: "Campaign finance reforms in Queensland would still allow unions and GetUp to spend up to $1m each...and allow the Palaszczuk government to run taxpayer-funded ads when political party spending is restricted... For a party, that would limit the amount spent in any electorate to $92,000."
WYATT PICKS HATE-TWEETER LANGTON TO ADVISE ON 'RECONCILIATION'
Why is he trying to "fix" a non-problem?: "Ken Wyatt has moved to break the impasse with Aboriginal leaders over indigenous recognition by proposing... a 'voice to government'". And why is he picking a hate-screecher to advise him?: "Wyatt, the Indigenous Australians Minister, has enlisted... Marcia Langton." Langton? Has he checked her tweets?
Hate screecher Bolt with the power of Murdoch screeching hate at a woman yelling get your fucking foot off my throat
COLDEST SNAP? THEN IT'S JUST WEATHER, NOT THE CLIMATE CATASTROPHE
If we were talking about hot days instead, it would be big news: "A late-season chill just caused a pair of frosty mornings in parts of southern Australia, with some areas seeing their lowest back-to-back minimums in more than a century this late in the year."
Bolt just keeps banging his head doesn't he trying to disparage events that are part of a worldwide "trend" rather than offered up as proof. They are "news" because they are part of a trend and have been for some time. Whereas the cold snaps Bolt's referring to aren't. There is a difference which he is paid not to see.
