WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s US extradition hearing opens Monday. Finally, his legal team can argue in a court over the offences listed in the indictment against the journalist who published government documents exposing US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The prosecution of Assange threatens press freedom. This is the first time that the US Espionage Act has been used against a publisher. Ahead of the proceedings in a UK court, professionals, activists and human rights defenders around the world are coming together to intervene in this highly politicized case.

FAKE NEWS

Andrew Bolt is selling bullshit and trivia today it hoping the REAL NEWS of his apology and the betrayal of his friends Gerrard and Bettina will go unnoticed.
The fact that we can't agree on coal and CO2 emissions pivots about the fact that we aren't German enough when it comes to Industrial Relations and the structure of our decision making Corporate boards. We are still stuck in the 20th Century. People like Bolt preach it needs to be kept that way despite wanting to retire and live in the Socialist Netherlands. How can he be trusted... he can't.
