Economic rationalists claim to have the answers simply weigh the cost/benefits. If his son had Coronavirus would Bolt be talking cost/benefits? If they were in the Vietnam draft or Abbott needed them for the war against Russia to shirtfront Putin. When we went to war in Vietnam were the cost/benefits considered? What about Afghanistan and all the other wars we participated in and lost since 1945. Where was the cry for a cost/benefit analysis vs politics? Politicians have rarely been involved in weighing up the cost benefits of progress and unintended consequences because each time a rational argument is put forward progress for the common good is swept aside for regress and do nothing stagnation. Self-interest comes into relief as the only interests served are those of the status quo. 

When it comes to Climate Change how often do we see deniers like Bolt turn to the results of actuaries in our Insurance Companies who do weigh up the cost/benefits of the rising premiums to ensure company profit? The results of which post floods, droughts, bushfires, and tornados have demanded action and recognition that man-made change is real and things have got worse. With Morrison trying to hide the increased costs by spreading premiums over the whole country rather than just those affected. Meanwhile, Andrew Bolt can be heard in the distance yelling the benefits of climate change are unrecognized and it was worse last century back when premiums were half the cost. You don't see any actuarial analysis on the Bolt Report.

GRACELESS HARRY AND MEGHAN WANT THANKS FOR HANDING BACK STOLEN 'ROYAL'

COLUMN Harry and Meghan now want praise for being forced to hand back their stolen loot. Last week the Queen banned them from using the “royal” brand to make themselves a private fortune. The couple, who’d fled Britain and their royal duties to live in Canada say she can't force them, and it's their choice to drop the royal - for now.  

It seems Bolt isn't such an advocate of free speech as he claims to be. He seems to be defending an a media industry that drove Harry and Meghan to Canada. One sense he'd be only too happy to see their marriage fractured. 

Bolt claims he was educated at Adelaide University he wasn't and has no title, unlike Harry. He made claims that he was the minder of a belly dancer he wasn't. She put an end to that fantasy. Harry at least is a Royal while Bolt lays claim to be many things he's not. 

 Mannered, well we can see just how polite and well-mannered Bolt really is. He made a living vilifying indigenous Australians and was paid for it in cash. He certainly didn't pay any fines or return a cent for his transgression when declared guilty. He whinged a lot and has done so for years. That's the stature of the man.

GRACELESS BOLT certainly didn't do for Dr Andrew Pitman what he's doing for D I Mark Thompson telling us all he "really didn't mean to say" what he did. Thompson isn't Dicky Knee just a head-on Bolt's stick. Bolt is using Thompson and Bettina Ardnt for his own purposes. Proof, he doesn't give a crap of what either think is he continues to misquote Pitman who publicly corrected himself and requote Thompson who hasn't.
Further, he supports Arndt's atrocious tactless comment and blunder while publicly apologising for his own stupid comments regarding St Kevins. Bolt actually looked pushed to make his apology rather than volunteer it. If he were sorry, he wouldn't be supporting Arndt. They are all just heads on Bolt's stick.
Bolt makes out that he totally disagrees with Ardnt but his posturing because his history indicates like her; he pushes the point that men are victims as much as women are of domestic violence and stereotyping. It's shown in his personal whinge that he's the only breadwinner in his family. The victim when forced to have to take his family on holidays that he doesn't want to go on. His story was all about "me" rather than "we" seemingly how he was made to suffer. In the meantime, he continues to work in an occupation that often put his family under psychological stress and threat. The only time on public record when Bolt says he considered quitting his job was when he was found guilty of racial vilification under the RDA. It was all about him back then as well.
