RECONCILIATION IN 1816. IS “RECONCILIATION” IN 2021 REALLY BETTER?

A Sydney Gazette report in 1816 challenges claims today that British officials planned a "genocide" of Aborigines. Yes, there were massacres in those brutal times. But there were also serious attempts to help Aborigines, and Aborigines who wanted seize the new opportunities.  Read this remarkable report of a ceremony at a school for black children.

BEZOS SAYS MAIL-IN VOTES NOT SAFE AT AMAZON. SO WAS HIS PAPER WRONG TO DAMN TRUMP?

The Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post last year: "President Trump has peddled false claims or imaginary threats about voting by mail." Jeff Bezos's Amazon now: "Jeff Bezos... and Amazon are aiming to postpone a unionization vote at one of its warehouses .... claiming that the mail-in voting process has 'serious and systemic flaws.'"

Bezos mail-in -vote 1) Amazon isn't a nation it's a company. 2) The rules of company mail-in-voting aren't as closely regulated as they are in the politics 3) Bolt on any other day maintains private company's have the right to do whatever they want within the law. 4) Beware of the Fascist who sounds like a Unionist. Bolt really a hypocrite that will say anything to support his Trumpism 5) Remember when in 2016 Bolt didn't support Trump. It was when Murdoch didn't either. He did a 180degree turn and supported him because Murdoch and now he continues to do so why? Because Fox News his role models still do. 6) All side no principle makes a Bolt (ODT)

 

SMASHING THE RACE PRISON

Identity politics is the racism of the Left. Now people it patronises are complaining. Playwright Kodie Bedford: "As I moved through every job role, it’s always been ‘Indigenous assistant’, ‘Indigenous writer’, ‘Indigenous screenwriter’... My peers would never get ‘white writer’, ‘white journalist’ – and that really made me feel small."

"Racism of the left" Bolt admits he's a right-wing racist and needs to be identified as such as he's certainly not a left one. He's also not Indigenous either and letting us all know. For the left or an indigenous person to mention that racism exists is according to Bolt to be a  Racist, a Reverse Racist. That is something that doesn't exist as Indigenous Australians have a voice but no significant systemic power. Bolt however can rest in the comfort that he has both and doesn't intend sharing it. VICIOUS CRITICS ACCUSE MARGARET COURT OF BEING MEAN

The cancel culture at its worst. Leftists say Margaret Court should not be made a Companion of the Order of Australia because she has offensive opinions about gays. These more tolerant people then abuse her viciously, exaggerate what she actually said and ignore the great good she's also done, especially in the coronavirus crisis. 

Bolt must be noted for not mentioning what it was Margret Court actually said to upset Australians so much and so many that it has now become almost her trademark above and beyond her tennis achievements. Yes, she was once a tennis player but she is now a pastor and it's that for which she is currently being judged. She can have her "offensive opinions" but that's not why she is being judged either. She is publicizing those opinions and giving oxygen to others wishing to politicize them like Bolt. She is dividing a nation that prides itself on tolerance, diversity and difference telling us that that isn't allowed in in a place we all call home, Australia. 

As for efforts to cancel culture Bolt's been a practitioner of culture cancelling for as long as we can remember and he's been given a public platform on which to practice it for the sole purpose of making money not for any other reason. Whenever he's called a racist an anti gay rights or transgender person he merely flips the semantic coin and claims the reverse is being practiced. Power, system are simply removed to make a vacuous and irrelevant point sound pertinent when it's the opposite. (ODT) 

UNAUSTRALIAN HANDS BACK AWARD IN PROTEST AT MARGARET COURT. GOOD!

One person has given back her Australia Day award in protest at Margaret Court being made a Companion of the Order of Australia. Other critics should do the same. Their intolerance is  unAustralian and they should not be honored.

Australia Day Awards Andrew Bolt hasn't won any awards other than his company's. Bolt isn't an individual with any community connection. He's proudly said he had no Australian identity until he was in his mid 30s when he married. He felt Dutch. Mind you the Dutch certainly didn't regard him as such even though he held dual citizenship. Bolt is a self described loner a pretender the best description and not a real Australian

 However wishes he was recognized and that the community would reward him. But for that to happen Australia would have to change and change significantly. Because it doesn't has more often than not told us he doesn't care about awards. Yet it seems he does as he focuses on them so often. Waleed Aly's Logie, Literary Awards, Wakely's have all copped a serve from Andrew Bolt even Mike Carlton got an OA and Bolt yet again got Sweet FA.
