Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp said it has struck a three-year deal for Google to pay it for news as the digital giant rushes to negotiate deals with Australian media companies.

How is it News Corp who dumped its journalists and "churns" news and oppinion has forced Google to the table? Australian government influence. There is only one media company that employs skilled and trained journalists and it is the ABC. How is it for the past 8 years the LNP has promised "no cuts" to the ABC yet has reduced the national broadcasters budget to that of 1984? RAPE CLAIM: GO TO THE POLICE, NOT THE MEDIA

 

The alleged rape at Parliament House of Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins has got the media and Labor politicians savaging the Liberals for not helping the victim. But too many people are assuming they know the truth. Higgins should go to the police, not the media, if real justice is to be done. We need facts before we point fingers.

Victim blaming never by Andrew Bolt!! He obviously didn't read the fact that Brittany Higgins DID report it to the police and the AFP DO have a file on it. Security has a file on it. The head of Security at the time resigned because of this case YET is still employed. The PM's office DID know about it. Yet Bolt says "get the facts first" "treat this woman as an adult" not as he would his child. Brittany Higgins is 24 and she has done did the wrong thing don't blame and shame the LNP. She just may not be a credible witness if time is allowed to pass.

 Do what the LNP does best stall stall stall stall the issue in the hope it will simply go away. Call on News Corp to pillory Brittany Higgins and deflect and distract and let the LNP independently investigate itself by using another LNP from WA.

  Slow it down "We need the facts" Bolt bellows in the case of Brittany Higgins. It's been two years since the rape. Trust the police not the media except for Bolt of course. However, did Andrew Bolt  "trust" the police in the case of George Pell. He complained about them all the time. The time they took the conspiracy to frame Pell and only Bolt media man  rushed in to save him. However it certainly wasn't Andrew Bolt that did. It was the judicial process our courts that saved George Pell with Andrew Bolt riding on the story's coattails like a gloating golem as if it was he, the media, the crusading voice that did it.

Brittany Higgins was young about the same age as Bolt's daughter who he said he treated as a child and would without hesitation dictate to her his modesty standards if she wore what he thought was inappropriate out at night. Why because he knows she lives in a sexist society. However when an Imam said much the same Bolt ran a commentary screaming that Islam was the "misogynist culture" for telling women how they should dress.

 The man is a yo-yo writes one for the team never a principle. Why can't LNP women be more like LNP men?  Isn't that Professor Higgins song?
