THE NEW RACISM: NOT A GOOD TIME TO BE A WHITE MAN

This is not a good time to be a white male in Australia. Not when the most fashionable people — even teachers — are now racist and sexist.Two examples last week show how far this poison has spread. No wonder China is now trying to exploit this hated.

 

Bolt by implication but no guts to say what it is he means is that women are acting up and men like himself have found themselves between a rock and a hard place. Instead by deflection he's whinge is that WASPS the traditionally privileged men in power are being given a hard and undeserved time. The bully-boys are being bullied and Bolt is complaining about it on their behalf. 

 Yes, he's crying wolf along with with crocodile tears Andrew Bolt is neither insightful nor an original thinker. The sounds he makes are rarely news, new, informative or REAL. There is neither any historic nor  present day evidence of any major systemic change, "new racism or sexism"which indicates any real diminishing of white men's privilege in Australia.

  Positive discrimination is an effort to placate the structural imbalance inequality, injustice, that we all recognize exists without being too revolutionary or "woke" about it. Some might call Morrison's move a token act of assimilation in the LNP to shut people up. Bolt is more an amplification of a resistance to Morrison. He's more  echo of White Nationalists, the bully boy neo-Nazis and right-wing extremists in this nation who would like any changes stopped dead in their tracks. His cry "new racism" is their pathetic effort to demand that the real century's old racism and the institutional patterns of behavior that have been and ingrained in our  psychology at a cellular level are "normal" and evolved before colonists even first stepped off the boats.

The very notion that a black man is the equal of Andrew Bolt is blasphemous to Bolt and the likes of  the PLF, the Lads, and neo-Nazi's that occupy the country and who believe they were actually born to inherited privilege by the historic evolution of nature's natural order. An order that should not be messed with. Any effort at cultural change is by his definition a reversal and needs to be shut down now.

Well we are witnessing a new and bipartisan political and gender power and it's steam rolling Morrison, LNP, and even Bolt as we speak and that's the power of women to show up a government and society for what it really is. It's white, sexist and a privileged minority men's club. Women are on the other hand, enmasse, shining a light on that reality and Bolt is deflecting and distracting it by focusing on racism. Basically Bolt calls what we have now is "normal" and what is being revealed is not. 

Women are demanding change and tokenism won't cut it. Wages, safety, opportunity are lacking as they are in indigenous Australia who need their help to change because as sure as hell they haven't been getting anything other than denial our government by white men like Andrew Bolt. Culture in fact needs to be set aside and real data attended to direct material changes needed. Crystal clarity of economic class differences would unite those that have against those that haven't and women are just the start. They along with the pandemic, climate change are making it clearer. However, 2million unemployed and underemployed about to be squeezed by lack of jobs and the government's efforts to reduce welfare is about to really have an impact that an increase in women cabinet ministers won't change. Porter, Laming, Renyolds and the new ministers do not represent change they represent little more than polishing the turds which remain the Liberal and National party  coalition in Australia.
