Fighting Fake News with REAL; 1/2/22; Political Donations, Scott-Free Colbeck, Scott-blamed Tame;

Van Badham

So many highlights from the execrable performance of Prime Minister (still!) Scott Morrison at the National Press Club today:
- admitting he doesn’t know the price of household items like “a loaf of milk”
-admitting that relentless disasters have befallen this country under his party’s leadership but insisting that voting him out would mean Australians were just “giving up”
- being very proud of himself for having met an apprentice once
- a truly terrifying insistence that there is way too much independent research still going on at Australia’s battered universities, that he’s planning to hand even more of this taxpayer-funded resource to unaccountable multinational corporations
- lots of meaningless numbers strung together with the claim this meant Australia was thriving (not feeling it myself, really)
- praising the overworked aged care workers he won’t give an actual pay rise to
- the claim that he works for the Australian people every day (bonjour, Hawaii!)

… and on and on it went, in that sweaty, aggressive tone he uses to communicate we are not a nation of adults but a Sunday school classroom of misbehaving children.
Amidst all these precious jewels, the absolute hands-down thumper, however, was learning what his Liberal Party colleagues Gladys Berejiklian and an Unnamed Current Cabinet Minister (!) really think of him.
I’ve never thought I had much in common with any members of the Morrison cabinet or the former premier of New South Wales, but count me in for the unity ticket on this one.

This is what the man SACKED twice by NZ and the LNP Government in Australia had to say about his record and we are soley expected to believe him because he doesn't lie

AEC, political donations

The political bribes data drops today, commonly known as the annual AEC political donations disclosure. It’s a great day for...

The Art of Distractions: political donations dump too big to not ignore

Morrison is no Politician let alone a leader.

The constant attacks on Grace Tame and the indifferent shrug towards Minister Richard Colbeck’s disgraceful conduct highlight media bias in this country, writes Paul Begley.

omicron ba.2

Are we making variants healthier and stronger smarter and more virulent? If so to what degree are antivaxxers right and we are wrong? Is this an excercise in wealth creation? Why hasn't Covid spread faster throughout Africa?

The BA.2 subvariant of the Omicron coronavirus variant, which has quickly taken over in Denmark, is more transmissible than the more common BA.1 and more able to infect vaccinated people, a Danish study has found. The study, which analysed coronavirus infections in more than 8500 Danish households between December and January, found that people infected with the BA.2 subvariant were roughly 33 per cent more likely to infect others, compared to those infected with BA.1.
