Come to Kooyong and you will see Josh Frydenberg "paying" to promote himself on Billboards and ones towed around on trucks. It's a sad sight for some. Meanwhile Dr Monique Ryan is being promoted enthusiastically by actual members of the Kooyong electorate.
Imagine
the Murdoch coverage if Labor had just delivered 4x the deficit, 5x the
debt—then rolled out $5.6 billion in panicked spending, while hiding $3
billion in secret post-election cuts! It would be Armageddon on the
front pages. Instead, it’s this…
Kevin Rudd
Will Morrison Sue? Will Towke be charged for making a false declaration? We know Peter Dutton Andrew Bolt and all Morrison supporters weren't shy to adopt this tactic in support of the their racial, anti-African, immigration proposals not mentioning that the South Sudanese Africans were in fact predominantly Christian, and more educated than most Australians. They were happy to have us believe they were Muslims. Their racialist leader after all is Scott Morrison who says nothing to the contrary. Indigenous Australians tend to be far more practicing Christians as well. However, that's rarely mentioned among Morrison's ranks when victim blaming. They maintain it's the fault of the "poverty of their culture" instead of "our" historically racist past and institutional structures.
Morrison has never been shy to weaponize race and ethnicity in politics Lebanese, Africans, Afghanis Pacific Islanders have all had their share in the past decade and more so in the past 3 years. Morrison certainly doesn't favor the separation of powers in politics either as evidenced by his Religious Discrimination Bill so desperate to pass after Marriage Equality was achieved in Australia. More so than any effort to achieve economic reforms most needed he made Culture Wars the forefront of his government and giving air to all the right-wing neo-Nazis and fruitcakes a legitimacy they previously never had.
Michael Towke has ended 15 years of silence, claiming that Scott Morrison told party members they should not vote for him because of rumours he was a Muslim.
But Mr Towke stood by a newly revealed statutory declaration he made in 2016 about the comments spread against him in the preselection, telling The Sun-Herald and The Sunday Age the campaign against him was racial vilification.
“I stand by the declarations I asserted in my statutory declaration,” he said, in his first public statement on the comments about his family background.
“Amongst many unedifying tactics used to unseat me from my preselection victory for Morrison, racial vilification was front and centre and he was directly involved.
“Racism is divisive, creating hate and hurt, and should have no place in Australian society.”
One of the delegates in the ballot, longstanding party member Marie Ficarra, said the contest was the worst she had seen in her time in the party because of a number of claims made against Mr Towke, who she supported. Mr Towke has Lebanese heritage and is a Catholic.
PM accused of using ‘racial vilification’ in bid for seat
Two men involved in a hard-fought Liberal preselection battle have signed written testimony that Scott Morrison warned people about the “Lebanese background” of his opponent in a crucial ballot to decide a safe federal seat, helping him win a bitter contest to enter Parliament more than a decade before he became Prime Minister.
The two statutory declarations, signed in 2016 about events in 2007, claim Mr Morrison told party members it was electorally risky to back his main opponent, Michael Towke, in the seat of Cook in the wake of the 2005 Cronulla Riots because of his ethnic background and because of rumours he was a Muslim.
Party members say PM used ethnicity against rival
Australians don’t mind rascals larrikins and rogues but they sure as hell hate holier than thou liars that use their religious faith as a smokescreen to hide their true nature. Shane Warne could do anything and he was forgiven as was Bob Hawke. We even learned to forgive Malcolm Fraser over time and it wasn’t just because the LNP renounced him but because he was truly remorseful. However, we never forgave just forgot Billy McMahon not so John Kerr, John Howard or Tony Abbott or Henry Bolte.
Morrison thought he had Anthony Albanese on the run over his refusal to hold a review into the treatment of Kimberley Kitching, a real issue that will not go away. Now the Labor leader is handed a political gift from one of the toughest conservatives in the business. “Morrison is not fit to be Prime Minister.” The Labor attack ads won’t be hard to make; they can leave it to the intern.

Peter Dutton just bought 121 new tanks OOPS! Will the LNP cancel that
order too like the one they canceled with France that cost $5bn. How much
would canceling the useless tank order cost us. The canceled subs cost X2
what the ALP pledged to fix Aged Care. Would canceling the tanks cost
another $5bn saving the NDIS from Reynolds hatchet job? So many things more than watching unusable tanks rust.
It’s clear as the sixth week of the war begins that his apparent plan was to send a column of tanks rumbling into Kyiv, blow up a few things, send Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his government scampering away in fear, declare victory, install a puppet president and go home. Evidence that his plan was a strategic, tactical and political failure is showing on your television screens around the clock. If there is one image that will symbolize forever this war, it will be a blown-up Russian tank, its treads sagging and its turret tilted, rusting by the side of the road in Ukraine.
