Thousands march in London for Palestine.

estimated on social media that half a million people attended the London march, which went from Embankment past U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s official residence at Downing Street to Westminster. Aerial footage showed streets and bridges thick with crowds. Sunak has stopped short of calling for a cease-fire, and Great Britian has emphasized Israel’s right to defend itself after the surprise October 7 attack by Hamas that killed around 1,400.

“The superpowers at play are not doing enough at the moment. This is why we’re here: we’re calling for a cease-fire, calling for Palestinian rights, the right to exist, to live, human rights, all our rights,” London marcher Camille Revuelta toldReuters. “This is not about Hamas. This is about protecting Palestinian lives.”

Protests also took place in cities across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including what +972 Magazine journalist Oren Ziv said was the first anti-war protest in Tel Aviv.

Gazans mourn victims of Israeli airstrikes

Medical authorities in the Gaza Strip, which has a population of 2.3 million people, said on Sunday 8005 people - including 3324 minors - had been killed.

Clearly undeterred by the mounting civilian death toll and global calls for a cease-fire three weeks into Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip, an adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Friday that “tonight we are starting payback.”

"Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass" ( Netanyahu)

Netanyahu invoked scripture that calls for the total destruction of the enemy, sparing no man, woman or child: The West Bank included it seems Israelis are running riot there too.

"We are only at the start. We will destroy the enemy above ground and below ground."

Dutton labels PM ‘weak’ for abstaining on UN Gaza truce vote

By Angus Thompson

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton also accused the government of failing to send a clear message about the nation’s values to the world after Australia abstained from a United Nations vote calling for an immediate humanitarian truce between Israel and Hamas.

The United Kingdom and Canada also abstained, while Israel and the United States were among those that voted no.

Dutton told Sky that Australia should have been standing with “our long-standing allies, including the United States in support of Israel”.

Who was Dutton referrring to when when he said "Our Long Standing Allies"? Obviosly not the UK Canada, Germany, or India. He also demands anyone not a citizen protesting against Israel should be kicked out of the country.

“The prime minister had an opportunity here in the United Nations to send a clear message about our values and where we stand. And he failed that test. And I think it was an incredibly weak display of leadership from the prime minister,” he said.

“The prime minister parading around on the red carpet but then scrimping it when it comes to the tough decisions. I don’t think that’s in our country’s best interests.”

Inside a Gaza Village: “All of Us Will Die, but We Don’t Know When”

Season 10, Ep. 41

Saturday, October 28, 2023

The Gaza Ministry of Health has calculated that more than 7,000 Palestinians have been killed, including nearly 3,000 children, by the latest Israeli bombing on Gaza. Those living in Gaza are under the constant threat of airstrikes, with little food, water, or access to medical care. This week on Deconstructed, Maram Al-Dada, an aviation engineer based in Florida, joins Ryan Grim; Al-Dada’s family is in Gaza, where he grew up. By the time of the interview, a shocking 46 members of Al-Dada’s family had been killed by Israeli attacks, with the rest wondering when their moment will come. Al-Dada talks about his childhood in Gaza, the escalating restrictions placed on Palestinians, and his family’s experience during these past few weeks.

Note: This episode was recorded on Thursday evening (October 26), before the Friday evening escalation by Israel and before Gaza lost cellular and internet service.
