Nobody ever said poofter bashing didn't go on in academic circles it certainly does in Bolt's blogs. However it's great to see research grants are being given in Australia which has us becoming leaders in many fields. Bolt sees a story that makes no reference to anything tribal. However he sees fit to post a banner that appears to make no sense whatsoever other amplifying his racism. However what is worthy of mention is that W.A is the worlds leading place no Australia is the worlds leading nation for the incarceration of it's indigenous youth and largely for minor property crimes or the failure to pay fines. Due to laws of mandatory sentencing and the 3 strikes your out rule. These crimes are poverty crimes and given Australia's indigenous are the largest group to be found in all poverty indices. One can conclude it's a crime to be poor in Australia.

Bolt like all fear mongers simply calls refugees, migrants that they come and want to stay. However the majority don't and aren't migrants. Of course they want short term safety and still long to go home. Typical of the mindset of any imperialist.
Bolt never references the fact that these refugees are in fact the product of Israel and the Western Coalition. Or that of the 14mill Syrians 7mill are children whose parents want them safe. What Bolt does do is detail and amplify the minority of wrongs that occur when large numbers of humans gather. He does it here in Australia. In France where most Muslims aren't guaranteed citizenship let alone welfare childhood rates are higher amongst the disenfranchised who yes happen to be Muslim not because they are Muslim.

News Corp print media is bleeding as much even more than Fairfax but is being purely supported by Foxtel. Murdoch's business model of selling sport, entertainment, salacious celebrity gossip and right wing commentary is simply there to align itself with and promote the interests of the wealthy and political class of Australia. It has nothing to do with news. It's path to profitability determined by the quid pro quo favors in a long term return expected from the right wing of politics. Favors allowing News Corp to destroy everything in it's path with the change of laws. Yes Fairfax a news paper is restructuring. Yes a lot will be concentrated in rural areas and yes having done that it will most likely be reemploying again. Bolt says Journalists don't understand capitalism. It seems he dosen't. Business is an on going journey changing daily and Bolt himself felt it's sting when the Bolt Report fell in a heap. It had nothing to do with market or ratings it was a totally subsidised program and it never showed a profit. Will it be transferred to Sky News? Why on earth would it when it couldn't make money on free to air? Bolt's patrons aren't on that board are they? Will Murdoch want to be seen pushing his model of Fox News on to Sky?
