Legal representatives from Pfizer and the Commonwealth were still hashing out the non-disclosure agreement when a company representative noted in an email on July 23 that the US and UK had already signed deals for doses. The US ordered an initial 100 million doses on July 22, and the UK signed a deal for 30 million doses on July 20. 

The Health Minister said “we engaged” with Pfizer from May 2020, although the first deal, which delivered 10 million doses to Australia, wasn’t signed until November.

Obviously, nobody from Pfizer, let alone Dr Bourla, is in the least interested in catching up with Morrison in any capacity and frankly, who could blame them? It could also be something of a relief that we will see more of the Lieutenant General and less of Morrison and Hunt, except for the fact that we are paying these men to do jobs they increasingly outsource. Not that they knowingly outsourced to Mr Rudd, they simply underperformed so dramatically that non-government actors felt obliged to step in. Well may we ask, why even are they?

Rudd claim reveals the call Morrison never made

 

As with the bushfires, the pandemic has exposed Morrison for who he truly is. No Facebooked curries, no borrowing of chickens or mounting of heavy machinery, no be-medalled general nor tame premier can hide his vacuity and uselessness. A coward who baulks at scrutiny and bullies any defiance, a clueless charlatan, a pig, a QAnon adjacent prosperity cultist who celebrated an affinity with Mr Tangerine Man, an overtly religious moral void, an inveterate liar, a poseur whose first instinct in a crisis is flight, whose vision is shaped by the rapture and whose ambitions are informed by an eagle painting will be desperately rifling through dumpsters for dead cats. This was Morrison’s chance to shine, to show up the doubters and haters, to prove he was worthy of the office, that he could confidently go to an early election. Instead, he shat himself. Again. Morrison has totally fucking blown it. 57% of aged care workers still haven't been fully vaccinated and the Minister doesn't even know the numbers. The  Victorian government is now vaccinating those workers that Morrison promised he would but hasn't. No he's not fucking holding the hose when he should be. He's simply vaccinating the narrative with the assistance of Newscorp, 2GB, and anyone seeking his favour rather than the favour of the nation.

Hunt defends aged care worker rules; Coburg school to close for deep cleaning

 Health Minister Greg Hunt has defended the government’s decision to reverse a rule that required aged care staff to only work at one facility last November.

 Let's face it back in March frontline health workers were promised to be first in line to be vaccinated. It's June and that still hasn't been the case. However our politicians and we can assume their families were as we saw our PM on the media along with Greg Hunt getting the jab. We certainly know Morrison and his government live in a world of "alternative facts" one not shared by most Australians.

PM pledges free COVID-19 vaccine for all Australians as UK deal brings hope

The deal with AstraZeneca, valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, will ensure Australians will be among the first in the world to receive the Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine if human trials are judged as successful, safe and effective.
 Agreements are in place to provide the vaccine to low-income and middle-income countries and also to the UK, Europe and the US.

Scott Morrison and GregHunt have publicly announced an agreement has been signed with the UK Oxford Labs for access to their potential COVID vaccine that places us ahead of the pack. The statement is as solid as the promises and spin that Donald Trump puts out.

The Biolab company has stated that NO such agreement has been signed. AstraZeneca have not signed any agreements with Australia. LNP may have sent a letter of intent which hasn't even been acknowledged by the company. The manufacture by any one in Australia isn't even assured. Morrison and Hunt have been doing what they do best a Trump on Australia.

Australia is far from the first some 6 other nations have actually signed with AstraZeneca some as far back as May and as yet Australia hasn't. A letter of intent is little more than political spin signed by only ONE Party (ODT)
