The man is trying to steal the glory of the Yes vote by claiming the process was the most democratic, voluntary and the peoples choice That's total BS. Four million Australians who voted 'No' have become 5 million in the hands of Bolt and that minority opposition of no voters the 36% now need protections promised and never afforded LGBTIs by them for 100s of years. Had the No vote won no changes would have been required. These conservative bigots and ignorants so adamant that they have now discovered the meaning of social justice now demand the protection of their rights to continue to do what they have done for 100s of years nothing!! Of course, they will continue down that road of nothing and no change and apply their bigotry to Muslims who actually bolstered their 'No' %. They will continue to discriminate against other minorities in Australia as well such as the Indigenous, those on welfare and other minorities we have seen negatively stereotyped by Bolt who he justifies need policing and shunning on the basis of White Judeo Christian beliefs that wealth is a sign of gods reward for moral culture. Bolt's suggestion that this was "voluntary" survey supported by the majority of Australians simply because there was an 80% turnout couldn't be more bullshit. No mention of how Abbott forced it on the nation simply as a costly delaying tactic. Conservatives can't admit they are wrong and when that's staring them in the face will take the path of most resistance to change. It took a referendum in 1967 to admit First Australians were recognized hundreds of years after invasion delayed and fought at every step in fear of loss of privilege. Abbott knew he'd lose this vote that he was totally unrepresentative of his electorate who 80% voted 'yes'. How out of touch is he? He was simply stalling the progressive inevitability of something that needed doing the removal of social injustice for LGBTI's equality when Australian opinion was already known. What was his purpose for slowing down progress simply political to divide his party and showing how the moderates had stolen it away? Drawing attention to a cultural loss was another form of Cronulla that Nationalism and bigotry were a god given right and LGBTI s were the real interlopers dividing the nation and drawing attention away from the more urgent issues of the country such as Surveillance National Security the cutting of taxes and Welfare. Australians didn't simply don't want to vote. Ask any LGBTI they didn't need the permission of other Australians they had the right to be treated as equals and they knew it. It' was called Social Justice on every day of the week was justified and we had a parliamentary and democratic process in place. Because they are celebrating today doesn't mean for one moment they are celebrating the process that was forced on them by the ultra-conservatives of the Liberal Party which Bolt attempts to suggest was a validation of our Democracy rather than the hurdle in the way. Does Bolt actually believe that this was democracy at work what a farce? The ACLU has already stated the fact that this war isn't over and it's just beginning as far as they are concerned. So has the Church and even the vice president of the party. They want to continue the cultural bigotry foisted in a systemic way they felt was their privilege to do and not just in an opinionated way on only LGBTIs. Maybe the shaming and blaming that still goes on in families will have been massively reduced by today's action. Maybe the battle for recognition and reconciliation has been won and other forms of disadvantage will be attended to Abbott's biggest fear that there is such a thing as human rights that draw attention to equality rather than privilege. The Labor Party, the LGBTIs the Liberals all who had to vote and said "Yes" did not take the task on board in any voluntarily way they were forced to do so. Abbott's intent was to divide the classes distract from a simple economic and material divide just like the Cronulla riots reduce the notion of left and right to a cultural rather than a material one. Forget what the electorate's wanted simply create a fight. Let's hope that this impacts on him in the next election and that it's hopefully it's not forgotten the time and money wasted and the cry get a spine to those who felt the unnecessary pain the waste of Australia's Democratic time and Money

Distraction and non-action got him into power and distraction and guerilla warfare has been his means to try and lever himself back. The 36% that Bolt is now crowing about incorporates the most despised group he doesn't even want in this country Asians, Africans, and Muslims his side is actually made up of White Judeo Christian which is only some 25% of the Australian community but notice how he has embraced what he calls 40%. Loose with his facts he certainly is and a convicted liar to boot.

Seemingly acting like a high priest Abbott expects his religion to be a part of some Christian Sharia rather than acknowledging the separation of powers as is done in Western Sydney. How does bolt think Abbott would fare if he ran for a seat in the West?

3h31 If the answer is this long winded and complicated you can be assured Bolt is throwing in so many red herrings his message is there to confuse rather than explain. 1) Coal-fired plants are cheaper and quicker to build. That's far from the case and we do have to build them because many of the ones we have are out of date. 2) The can generate electricity at a lower rate well that's not the case and if Solar and wind costs which are cheaper now do what they have achieved in the last 5 years coal will certainly be left for dead. 3) Bolt doesn't even consider the clean up and health costs involved to the community. 4) Why is Bolt pushing the same old tales which even our biggest Mining and Power companies have rejected. He stays silent on the divestment AGL BHP and Rio Tinto are doing in transitioning away form coal. It seems Bolt is more of an expert than they are. Bolt throws in "a dead moggy". Places a banner as if it's current news but relates back to 2011. Business leaders opinions are dragged up suggesting Global Climate Scientists interests and Ethics are driven by grants rather than than science condemning research science not only in Australia bit globally. Bolt could just as well go back and survey opinions when the majority of people lead by the church declared the world was flat. Does he believe that the majority of business people today believe the same? 97% of research has indicated that Global Science is in agreement that's after a study of 14,500 research papers were peer-reviewed. Bolt is simply discrediting Science as a problem solving method altogether and suggesting all grants would be better taken off the table. That's a step back to the dark ages.
However given the shift in the investment portfolios around the world there has been a significant shift in attitude of "business men" towards the science and technological advancement of renewables over fossil fuels. Putting your money where your mouth is is a great indicator that the world of business thinks Bolt and Abbott are wanking themselves for the sake of a few companies. KHAWAJA BECOMES RACE VICTIM

Viciously attacking individuals is swatting flies suggesting there is no systemic problem to be identified.There are no generalized conclusions to be drawn just Bolt flaying at others Yassmin Abdel Magied, Waleed Aly, Adam Goodes etc have all been used in the same way. Declaring they are undeserving Australians and not the exemplary patriot like Andrew Bolt. Bolt is always flipping and declaring himself, the defender of the Christian Church, the crusader for Australian White Males and the protector of conservatives who are the victims of Racism, Sexism and bullying in Australia. She's a mining engineer who can run an oil rig and bring millions into the country. What can Bolt do?
In a short 200 years this country's elite invaded, impoverished, stole land and children from the first peoples and set about disguising it in false histories taught to the the ensuing generations. Nobody until now listened to or paid any attention to the histories of the indigenous peoples. We never learned of the mind set of the British Empire it's slave trading, indentured labor it's drug trade and it's monopolization of trade ensuring Australia didn't develop industry to compete with Britain not just in Australia but in all it's colonies. So hated were the British that Bolt is so proud of they caused the American War of Independence. They were drug runners and the their investors the UK elite who were the government sucked huge amounts of profit and interest from their colonies. All along writing & declaring glorious and benign past.
Kawaja learnt nothing of the inglorious past of Australia in school and only as an adult did he hear the experiences of others and begin to realize everything wasn't as he was taught.
