Bolt's approach is so dated it's existence can only be found in anything Murdoch. It mirrors the tactic of that older tabloid now defunked "The Truth" which failed for the lack of money. The Truth however never pretended to be "news" except for the best racing, form guide it delivered in its day. The " Normally wouldn't" Bolt is about step up from being the media crusading defender of Porter to being the prosecutor, judge and jury of a dead woman while dancing on her family to do it. Something the ABC, Louise Milligan and media in general haven't done. As for Christian Porter well he's a big boy in hiding who if and when he comes out will have to meet the press. Bolt is working as hard as he can to have him sit down exclusively with him in public. Murdoch we know will get the contract but Bolt is really competing with his team for the gig.

Fighting for his political life AG Porter has done what the LNP has done for the past 8 years blamed others and what a surprise it's the ABC and Louise Milligan for reporting an "anonymous letter" and an "allegation" made about an "unnamed Cabinet Minister". Porter claims that put "him in the frame" as far as the public was concerned. He wants us to believe he was the only suspect in a game of public Cluedo.
The case will fail but it's seems Porter and the LNP have been advised that "throwing a dead moggie on the table" will drive a forced media silence like it did for Craig McLaughlin and Geofrey Rush unlike the media noise generated around George Pell who didn't sue.
A media cone of silence to dampen any media noise during this year's election seems more political than personal. Despite there being a questionable case to answer as far as the ABC and Milligan are concerned. It could be argued it's a typical LNP vexatious political action to silence bad press before the next Federal election. It certainly seems a questionable civil tactic alone given Porter and the woman were unknown. However at what cost to whom will it be, Go Fund me LNP donors? The public announcement has a Trumpish feel about it. ALP's 52% to 48% Polling and the WA trashing of the LNP was bound to have had an impact.

declared: Spicer is the head of Gemaker's Media and Communications.
Andrew Bolt's "revelation" coming from a News Corp storm trooper. "Spicer is paid by Gemaker". Sounds like cadet's attempt at a scoop that and editor would declare a failure saying "fuck off kid try again" Hardly intriguing as Bolt fighting for the gig with Christian Porter like he had with Pell. Spicer certainly doesn't sound as desperate as Bolt. Nor has she anything to apologize for. Bolt was caught spreading bullshit with the agency of his fabricated fake facts which when caught red handed "hasn't mention" again. He actually made Kroger look an idiot and I'm sure that wouldn't have helped Bolt's credibility in the future.
However Bolt really is a one trick pony isn't he flipping and reversing what has actually happened. Gemaker aren't "paying" female staff to go to the march at all. If any choose to go their pay simply won't be docked. If News Corp is in the business of pushing a political agenda and prepared to legally defend its staff with lawyers, insurance and mountains of money. Then Gemaker's action might be a donation aligned with the cause of women it's not however a giant Corporation recruiting staff for war.
The
Left is winning the culture wars in large part because collectivists
hijack much of the taxpayer money given to cultural organisations. Think
of the ABC, SBS and Australia Council. Latest example: Monash
University Press - its books and its party.

So much so News Corp and Sky After Dark are simply propagandists, PR platforms suckling off the taxpayer tit at the behest of the LNP.
Bolt's suggestion that Monash University is in any way comparable to News Corp, and Murdoch media's unvetted, or unaudited transactional arrangement with the LNP and it's use of our money is the equivalent of pissing into a cyclonic wind. Currently Foxtel streaming and Stan run by the Costello run Ch9 are under no obligation to produce Australian content. Monash University is SBS and the ABC are. So yes Bolt is gaslighting us.

Letting
the market drive journalism into the ground is a political choice. If
we harbour any hope for democracy, our communities’ health, or tens of
thousands of jobs, we can’t let local journalism wither. If nothing else, this crisis illustrates what happens when we leave public services — from health care to education — dependent on the mercy of the market. We must find a new way to support the media we need.
The news is a public good, and public goods require public investments.

Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.
For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility,
no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no
sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace –
all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr Obama was
generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.
Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever.
I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman.
But with
Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is –
his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers.
And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface.
Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront.
Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul.
And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our
heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist.
Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that.
He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy or a greedy fat-cat.
He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully.
That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead.
There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a
gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down.
So the fact
that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at
what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems
like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little
distress to British people, given that:
• Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and most are.
• You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.
This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people,
and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss.
After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet or hear him speak a
sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum.
God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.
He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.
In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.

have claimed as many as 700 lives by today had NSW not forged ahead with
tougher lockdown measures." Victoria's Chief Health Officer:

coronavirus in Victoria if physical-distancing restrictions were not put
into place."
Of course, they can dim wit the statement in NSW was referring to a particular ban and measure which only two days ago you were mocking. Was it park bench sitting or some other of the many things you whine about? The Victorian statement refers to if no bans whatsoever were in place. HOW MEDIA WATCH CHEATED IN CLAIMING NO ABC GET-PELL BIAS
The ABC ran a witch hunt to destroy Cardinal George Pell,
who spent 405 days in jail for a crime he could not have committed. Last night the ABC's Media Watch denied the obvious, listing people who'd talked on the ABC as "either supporters of Cardinal Pell or representatives of the Catholic Church". That list proves the ABC's guilt ... and deceit.
Has Andrew Bolt made an official complaint to the APC? I doubt it. Bolt without the ABC wouldn't have a job unless he considers himself the defacto watchdog of the APC. Bolt is simply a vexatious litigant and if all his complaints were brought before a real court and he didn't stop his indulgent attention-seeking self-boosting would be held in contempt. In fact, sitting in the same jail as his mate Pellwho it must be said is far more stoic.
Google and FB are now meant to pay for news they use that comes from the general media. The ABC should bill Bolt or News Corp for all the news and information they provide Andrew Bolt. Maybe the money News Corp owes the ABC ought to be deducted from Bolt's contract for the lack of any value or real work he provides them.
Bolt's moderated comments section started me paying attention to the rubbish he sprouts and yes he inspired me to react but I don't get paid for it nor do I pretend to be anything other than a commentator. This claim of "showboating" is coming to you from the same pompous middle-class idiot upstart who abandoned Australian history the moment he was born and taught by his mother he was destined for better things. In order to justify that Bolt now proclaims himself an Indigenous Australian more so than Stan Grant and even Adam Goodes. The same idiot who tried to do the same in front of ex-National NZ PM Jim Bolger on the ABC program Reconciliation Yes or Nowhere Bolger simply laughed at Bolt's childish naivety and stunned him into silence.
This idea is coming from not the everyday Australian but a particular white middle-class racist and supremacist Andrew Bolt who claims Indigenous Poverty and disadvantage to be the fault of Indigenous Culture which is different to his. History showed that Assimilationists like Bolt throughout history shamed Australians because of their heritage and in the case of Aborigines killed them stole their land their children on the pretext of welfare and betterment. They tried to socialize the cultural heritage from them. The welfare was a business paid by the government and children the resource. The Conversion process a fake promise of a yellow brick road that lied about the government subsidized workshops of cheap labor in a brutal and far from charitable industry.
The rise of self- identifying Aborigines has been the success and rise of Aboriginal pride like gay pride hard fought for but yet to achieve equality. It was almost a crime to identify as a fair-skinned Aboriginal. You couldn't get bank loans, equal pay and were told simply to move on if found loitering in white man's territory. In Kununurra the police are called to move elderly Aborigines on if they sat under the shade of a shop verandah to get out of the sun. They were profiled they were black if I'd done the same I'd be left alone. It was simply a disadvantage to be Aborigine. If I had a sign saying I was one the police would have moved me on for identifying as one maybe even treated me harsher like Bolt denying me my heritage. This still goes on as we have seen in the Royal Commission. While its a crime to be poor in Australia it's a greater crime for Indigenous Australians. Bolt is the first to declare Aborigines are the greatest perpetrators of domestic violence. In the same breathe he's the first to say Christianity protects us from that violence. However, he's the last or never admits to the fact that Aborigines are Christians. That's just how racist he is.
Welfare, in general, is on the rise White Australians are increasingly adopting an Indigenous lifestyle which it is not it's a lifestyle brought on not by Aboriginality but poverty, homelessness, overcrowding and over policing and punishment in a culture that is increasingly driving more and more into poverty and visibility in urban Australia. The visibility that Bolt is complaining about is the fact that Aborigines are speaking up and doing it as a group demanding the rights denied and a voice as Australian citizens not just people to be administered. They are speaking up as a united front because they have spent 200 years and have an experience in common being administered and shamed on the grounds of their race in ways that people like Bolt aren't and they refuse to be just patronized by whites like Bolt any longer who pompously and moronically claim to be as indigenous as they are and victims of today's black racism.
Jim Bolger and NZ are still laughing at Australia the only settler nation in the world that hasn't a Treaty with its recognition of the First Peoples here. Recognition of the historical reality and trying to hide the shame of our white past and present one denied and not internalized or even recognized by Andrew Bolt but then he was raised by Dutch migrants and sheltered from Australian history taught to be an elitist and Europhile in believing that he's better than the majority of us who dream of being a Republic. This is the first and most Milo attention in the media and yes it's generally in support of a very toxic personality in the rest of the world.
