This claim of "showboating" is coming to you from the same pompous middle-class idiot upstart who abandoned Australian history the moment he was born and taught by his mother he was destined for better things. In order to justify that Bolt now proclaims himself an Indigenous Australian more so than Stan Grant and even Adam Goodes. The same idiot who tried to do the same in front of ex-National NZ PM Jim Bolger on the ABC program Reconciliation Yes or Nowhere Bolger simply laughed at Bolt's childish naivety and stunned him into silence.
This idea is coming from not the everyday Australian but a particular white middle-class racist and supremacist Andrew Bolt who claims Indigenous Poverty and disadvantage to be the fault of Indigenous Culture which is different to his. History showed that Assimilationists like Bolt throughout history shamed Australians because of their heritage and in the case of Aborigines killed them stole their land their children on the pretext of welfare and betterment. They tried to socialize the cultural heritage from them. The welfare was a business paid by the government and children the resource. The Conversion process a fake promise of a yellow brick road that lied about the government subsidized workshops of cheap labor in a brutal and far from charitable industry.
The rise of self- identifying Aborigines has been the success and rise of Aboriginal pride like gay pride hard fought for but yet to achieve equality. It was almost a crime to identify as a fair-skinned Aboriginal. You couldn't get bank loans, equal pay and were told simply to move on if found loitering in white man's territory. In Kununurra the police are called to move elderly Aborigines on if they sat under the shade of a shop verandah to get out of the sun. They were profiled they were black if I'd done the same I'd be left alone. It was simply a disadvantage to be Aborigine. If I had a sign saying I was one the police would have moved me on for identifying as one maybe even treated me harsher like Bolt denying me my heritage. This still goes on as we have seen in the Royal Commission. While its a crime to be poor in Australia it's a greater crime for Indigenous Australians. Bolt is the first to declare Aborigines are the greatest perpetrators of domestic violence. In the same breathe he's the first to say Christianity protects us from that violence. However, he's the last or never admits to the fact that Aborigines are Christians. That's just how racist he is.
Welfare, in general, is on the rise White Australians are increasingly adopting an Indigenous lifestyle which it is not it's a lifestyle brought on not by Aboriginality but poverty, homelessness, overcrowding and over policing and punishment in a culture that is increasingly driving more and more into poverty and visibility in urban Australia. The visibility that Bolt is complaining about is the fact that Aborigines are speaking up and doing it as a group demanding the rights denied and a voice as Australian citizens not just people to be administered. They are speaking up as a united front because they have spent 200 years and have an experience in common being administered and shamed on the grounds of their race in ways that people like Bolt aren't and they refuse to be just patronized by whites like Bolt any longer who pompously and moronically claim to be as indigenous as they are and victims of today's black racism.
Jim Bolger and NZ are still laughing at Australia the only settler nation in the world that hasn't a Treaty with its recognition of the First Peoples here. Recognition of the historical reality and trying to hide the shame of our white past and present one denied and not internalized or even recognized by Andrew Bolt but then he was raised by Dutch migrants and sheltered from Australian history taught to be an elitist and Europhile in believing that he's better than the majority of us who dream of being a Republic. He is a clear and living example that racism has deep Colonial roots. He just doesn't understand Aboriginal Pride or it's growth.

Here we have anti- Republican Andrew Bolt MC for Milo asking why Leunig's published by The Age but not actually saying what it is he's offended by here? Bolt is a thoroughly anti- Multiculturalist but seems offended that Leunig's mocking it. Or does he think he's personally being mocked? The House of Windsor has after all German heritage along with Muslim and Harry's mother in law to be is Afro-American whose name is coincidentally Markle.
It seems Bolt just doesn't like Michael Leunig who I'm sure doesn't give a shit about Bolt. So it's got nothing at all to do with the cartoon otherwise Bolt would have spelled it out for us wouldn't he, and not then his problem that is?
Leunig, by the way, has had a stellar career and reputation dating back to the 70's the same time Bolt saw nothing endearing about Australia the country in which he was born. His mother hated the place and taught Bolt to look down on it too. Back then Leunig was already on his way to being a National Treasure which can't be said of Andrew Bolt who couldn't wait to get out of the place. However, Bolt tells us he has the reputation of a hero even as he admits off only a small base which only he nevertheless believes is a great thing?

TURNBULL'S FALSE DAWN

Nobody in the media seems to have had anything to say about Milo or his shows other than the Daily Mail which in their photos suggested Milo was just an odorless fart in Findon Adelaide. A storm that went unnoticed. Even Bolt promised he needed to take time out to think about what he had to write which was a cautious warning it would be fake news rather than a report. As it turned out his blog remained empty other than an Ad that he would be seen on his Sky show. Will Mark Latham need to think as much about Milo as well? He hasn't said anything as yet either. Nothing seems free about this very commercial event.
So Bolt has no words for Milo only space for him on his show. Yesterday from Perth he promised a blog full which just turned into just another George Christensen moment.
