Bolt back?
News Corp, which produces The Bolt Report for broadcast on the Ten
network, has declined to confirm the Andrew Bolt-hosted Sunday program
will not be back on air in 2015. Now four years old, The Bolt Report was
offloaded by Ten to News Corp for two years in 2013 because of the
network’s dire financial situation. It is unclear whether the contract
will be renewed. Ten broadcasts the show but News pays for its
production, staff and transmission costs. Bolt has never out-rated the
ABC’s Insiders with Barrie Cassidy.
Why is Bolt emphasizing something that isn't happening? The money raised will not go to any budget relief — it’s off to an as yet designated medical research "future fund". The Coalition is going to keep harping on about a confected Budget crisis but even the Treasurer knows this is bunkum. Notwithstanding its non-existence, how would demoting health serve as any cure?Why, when we are second best place in the world to live after Norway, are we hell bent on removing a central pillar of that success — health? Abbott's coalition has rested it's reputation on being money managers that would fix a deficit and bring it to surplus at any cost. Their lies their stupidity. Because in creating a faux emergency they had to fix it. Had they approached economic reality as normal and not cried panic. The government could have allowed themselves more time and options. But they didn't they created a fantasy an excuse to deal out pain in their first year, then reverse it as elections approached nothing new in the politics of deviousness. However there lies the core of their demise. Revenue has dropped the budget while not in crisis will continue to blow out and Abbott can't say 'sorry we were lying things aren't bad but we will need more time as the economic cycle is not in anybody's favour at the moment.'

It saves Bolt being declared a misinformer instead he is little more than a non informer. The truth is that 'Trade for Aid ' our current Foreign Aid program has been misappropriated. Direct Action remains unheard of program reduced to little more than a slogan.
NGO programs have been universally slashed this year when there are more global refugees and people in need than ever before. Abbott has made a token gesture to global warming at the expense of those in immediate need to make a political gesture. Bolt says he's buying off the warmists or the international community of global science. I agree he's raped the Charity tin to do it. It's an extremely sarcastic and inhumane action as was buying space for refugees in Cambodia. Our Foreign Aid program has be come a slush fund for back handed gestures.
You see 180 degree spin by Bolt from Hockey basher to Hockey defender. Why pragmatism an opportunity to slap the opposition media. I say media because all print media is opposition and competition to the No-News Corporation and it's mastheads. Bolt is Abbott's pitbull his go to. Didn't we hear him tell Christopher Pyne he was lying on Sunday that Bolt had the facts and Pyne didn't. Where does this sort of arrogance stem from if one isn't required to declare the source of 'facts' Who in reigns the inner sanctum of LNP when Bolt can declare that to the goverment's leader in the house?
Absolutely nothing has changed except the doctors have been screwed. $2 they were to get has gone. $5 the government was to get they still do. Those now excluded will be paid for by what the doctors no longer get. Doctors tend to reside in safe liberal seats so the risk in a voting backlash is minimized.

Abbott even said when presenting the award he hadn't read the book. Abbott however did have the likes of Gerard Henderson appointed to the panel. Who specifically is Bolt criticising here? The leftist arts community and panel on which his mate Henderson is a member? I repeat Abbott has nothing whatsoever to do with the selection. Funny if he had he hasn't read 90% of the books. Admiration is generally reserved for people with higher qualities than ourselves. So finds Bolt actually finds a person with a history of aggressive bullying, lying, double crossing vengefullness as someone to be admired says a lot for himself. Abbott doesn't live in a world of fantasy as does Bolt and is less of an elitist in his own mind. Yes he is more inclusive than Bolt he will double- cross anybody and reek vengeance on anybody to the point of harm. Heaven help Australia if he thinks he'll lose. He's a vandal.
Scrapping negative gearing. Why didn't Wayne Swan do it? Why haven't successive governments done it. Simply governments don't want to spend money on social housing if they can encourage the private sector to do it for them.The investment in property of this sort is not the realm of the top 1% but rather what was the growing middle class. All one had to do was look at the investment of the current cabinet to see who uses negative gearing to their advantage. Translate that to who do they vote for and you will find it's across the board and why governments have left it alone.

American Republicans passed a bill recently legislating that the EPA in the US cannot reveal any of it's research data to political bodies of government. The leader of this denial campaign being Inhoffe who maintains that climate is god's creation and shouldn't be interfered with.
In like manner Jeff Seeney in Qld sees commercial dealing in land is the natural order of things and it shouldn't be interfered with by scientific climate data or references to rising sea levels. It is illegal to disclose any such information in Moreton Bay. Residents and commerce have the right not to have property values influenced by scientific data.
As for Bolt's lies. Look carefully he doesn't reference what he declares NASA has said because NASA a leading proponent of warming in fact says the opposite. Bolt uses information out of context if he thinks he can. One only needs to look at the research data of the worlds experts 97% who agree with the complete of Bolt's claims. Where is Bolt's substantiating thread there is none?
NASA and NOAA in fact report the opposite of everything Bolt says and have said so. Is there a reason he leaves the term "scientists" out of his dialogue and refers to them "warmists". Of course it becomes easier to misinform and distort further the stat 97% & consensus among scientists becomes buried. Yes he applies the misinformation techniques of Fox News whose slogan 'fair and balanced' is the opposite
This is what Bolt does he distorts information published by Australia's leading scientific body the CSIRO. He doesn't even mention them.
CSIRO was simply stating the costs relating to water and fire damage are likely to increase the cost to the Commonwealth and therefore our taxes.

Pittman was simply makes a commonsense statement that planning decisions current today would most likely lead to far more expensive clean ups. Nothing more nothing less. But Bolt finds use distorting this and not declaring it to be in reference to a report by Australia's primary scientific body the CSIRO.
It's advocacy of the worst kind deception.
