Bolt's Blogs are in the main little more than Paywalls. They preach to the converted and moderate criticism. Speech certainly not free.
What's fascinating is that it fascinates Bolt and reveals more about what he regards as success. Money is a very central part of his evaluation of what it means to be a success. Not a maths teacher. He also has a clear picture of those he regards are a success. Those who go to art auctions and bid on secondary art. A hierarchy not shared by most. I'd suggest most Australians ignore money and admire human generosity of spirit over wealth. Bolt pretends to have those unimportant qualities and trivialises them. He'd never go back to being a belly dancers minder would he?

1) Sovereign Borders is a mess we are being told we don't know whose coming or going. However 150,000 passengers held up at airports 450 a day for a couple of kids to be turned back. How over profiled and pissed off are the travelling public, airlines and tourists by the inconvenience of the delays caused?
2) Bolt is bleeding because some welfare recipients have spent some of their means tested assets on a cruise. Sounds as if Welfare recipients cards and need to be policed by businesses at the cash registers and charged. Wow a whole new poverty industry to make money flow up and not down. Imagine if Welfare was just another student loan.
Imagine the cost to government if those families entitled to a Carer's allowance who don't claim did. I've been a full time carer for 10 years of my son who has a mental health issue and is on a DSP. I've never claimed a carers entitlement. How much has the government saved. Should I bill them now? Has anybody considered what caring involves? It's not scamming the government for a freebie holiday. How petty is Bolt for posting this troll's blog. Has anybody considered the number of people who actually claim these cruises as business deductions?The numbers that fly to Bali on tax deductible government expense?
Why can financial advisers take commissions on fraudulent advice and keep them to the tune of Matthew Corman's song "forget about it it's time to move on." Yes anomalies exist in every Industry only Welfare is called out more often than others. How much could the government save in policing tax deductible perks which subsidise peoples living.
3) Abbott calls for a conversation on the Indigenous remote communities. However he's a no show? Lambie calls for a conversation on the Federal bribery of sales of State asset and she's shut down!! Australia is no place for a conversation anymore.

Yes we know journalists are predominantly left it's why Newscorp is divesting themselves of journalists for right wing commentators. To economise commentators can be used across the broad range of different mastheads Newscorp runs and churnalists can find stories on the net. The reason why journalists live predominantly in the the Inner city can't be correlated with their politics without asking who they vote for otherwise it's statistically moronic. One firstly needs to ask where and for whom they work? How many media organizations can actually be found in the outer suburbs? How many of the cities wealthier suburbs are industrial and corporate precincts in which major news organizations reside? Given that journalism is not a 9-5 occupation convenience and proximity rather than politics seems a far more obvious explanations to the pattern found.
Bolt conveniently leaves out the fact that 60% voted. If the issue of the vote is put into an a historical context can easily be made to look hard done by the losers. However when the light of the history of Catholic conservatism is brought to bear on the issue the so called bigots quite clearly become the establishment. Those Conservatives that lost this vote. What we have here is little more than a play on words by the new minority. Who would have thought that Ireland would beat Australia to legalize same sex marriage. We can't even allow a conscience vote. It goes to show the calibre of the real Tony Abbott friend of the LGBTs
Is any one surprised that Andrew Bolt blames the victim of rape of lying to the authorities when his war cry is "don't pretend to be compassionate" Risdale may have been under investigation has little relevance when added accusations could be brought against him. Do you think Pell had it announced to all the congregations where Risdale worked that any complaints would be welcome. Do you think he advertised in the Catholic press for victims to come forward? No not at all.
So it's just as likely if not more than likely Pell resisted rather than welcomed more complaints. Bolt runs the argument along with Pell that justice would be served in convicting Risdale of just one rape and not a series. The courts need to go no further because the Church is a victim as well. Sorry not good enough Bolt
