staying with austerity economics in the hope of winning the next
election. However it's a massive jump to the Left and back to the

Isn't it odd that Hockey has literally stolen the UK Labour Party's election promise. Miliband promised to reduce the UK deficit every year they were in government no matter the state of the economy. Hockey is promising exactly the same thing now since his promise of a surplus has been flipped. However beneath it all he still believes in the much criticized austerity economics of the Tories. Bolt calls this his trump card very funny. The LNP have jumped so far to the left they are emerging as the Turnbull party with Abbott hidden in a closet to keep him out of trouble.

Abbott is in a rush to the middle when his natural instinct and political comfort brawling from extreme right . The electorate is sick to death with unfairness and injustice being dressed as false emergencies. Abbott's Team Australia has gone to the dogs. Right wing conservatives don't read the Sun in the UK. They don't read Bolt here for that matter and aren't his target for change anyway. Murdoch's papers make an effort to swing working class voters not the converted. By distortion and deflection of cultural issues such as creating Islamophobia national security becomes primary. Your not a patriot unless your for Abbott.You can distort issues of Welfare call out bludgers and the indigenous as the reason for cutting spending in an national emergency. What needs to be heavily criticized is any independent "free thinking and critical questions" asked of government and that becomes labelled as bias and the domain of the left and needs an urgent response. Generally just name calling as with the case of Paul Barry. Because the last thing Bolt can rely on is voters to decide things for themselves.

Chris Kenny wastes no time lying and then bullshiting any which way to justify it. What part of Labour's promise to have a close look at the PPL once it's been officially released does Kenny not understand?

Bolt reminds us of the influence the media has on the public. Given that Murdoch press owns 66% of the print media in this country it's clear the SMH has little power in comparison. News Corp is the government's preferred media outlet.They are tied at the hip. However SMH do raise a valid point when comparing the number of mentions Abbott has given to to IS since September 346.

346 mentions of the "Death Cult" by a PM who garners little or no respect as a role model among our youth has merely made IS a drawcard. Couple this with the lunatic promoter Bolt who seems as trustworthy as a used car salesman and IS become a curiosity and an attraction that Team Abbott isn't. Had Abbott shut up and gone about the business of government rather than playing poll politics the issue would not be with us to the degree it is now. They seem to want an inevitable public event to occur. It's good for their business.
Bolt had to watch that anti government biased program Q&A to discover Chriatian Porter. An ABC program that's too left leaning for this government. How is it Porter, and Frydenberg come across more like Malcolm Turnbull than they do Tony Abbott? Pyne, Abetz, and others just don't do the same. Poor Joe Hockey he was never an Abbott man and is being left behind. However what sort of government do we have when the PM has now to be hidden away because his party see him as a publicity handicap?
