No there isn't a journalist out there to support this hysteria. Mallah pleaded guilty to bad and threatening language because he was "set up". He did the time and paid the crime. Bolt whinges adnauseum because he was found guilty of a crime under the RDA. Abbott was found guilty of malicious damage to public property. Two have been allowed to build their careers simply because they had some Cultural Capital. Bolt was 50 with a career as dubious as it is and Abbott because of his list of character witnesses. Mallah is a working class Muslim kid yes maybe a hothead but no less so than Abbott was at his age. Yet these stalwart citizens want to character assassinateof him .Given their histories people in glass houses shouldn't.
Given it seems most MSM agree with Steve Ciobo as they haven't focused on him he's won the day and on the ABC therefore only bias is one for the government. The caterwauling that has followed is little more than crowing and putting the boot in for extra political show. However they have lost no sleep in turning Mallah into Kafka's cockroach for their political advantage. It's not unusual for bovver boy Abbott.
Bolt is given a platform despite his conviction and multiple defamation losses we know of. Newscorp continues to give him a voice despite the number of times he's been declared guilty of lying and being loose with facts. In other words a failed journalist. They employ him simply as a professional agitator no standards required.
John Howard with the help of Newscorp did it to David Hicks who was declared innocent but has never been apologized to by either Howard or Newscorp. I guess history will take care of that. Abbott with the aid of Newscorp now has Zacky Mulla in his sights. The herald Sun has misrepresented them both Hicks and Mullah on their front pages. The photos of David Hicks were an outright lies distortion and misrepresentation. The photo of Mallah a misrepresentation as well. The Herald Sun does not apologize for these distortions it presents and encourages Bolt to undertake these character assassinations. (You can see the photos below)

Bolt's just thrown his one time mate Tom Switzer overboard he was praising him the other week. It's just the sort of ongoing bullshit Bolt serves up. He's worse than Zacky Mallah because he in fact encourages alienation. Zacky Mullah decribes a reality much closer to the truth and that's why he must be destroyed.
What a drama queen Bolt is. Heaven help the family he has with all his operatic posturing.
Every time a politician opens his mouth you start with the premise that they're lying. Abbott has a list of lies that would fill a phone book. Surveys of the Nation's trust of politicians couples them with used car salesmen, real estate agents, and journalists.
For Shorten to say he has never lied would beggar belief particularly at a time when Gillard and Rudd were at their worst. It's reasonable thing to the press at bay. Bolt acts like a kid running to mum to lag on a sibling just to be rewarded in some way. Nobody wins respect for that sort revelation they are usually branded as pricks by everybody.
Bolt not a goodie two shoes we know that. We also realize he like politicians is lying when his lips move. He seems to have lived his life apart alone not because he wanted to but because of mutual arrangement. The man is a professional pinata.
Typical of Bolt to deny democratic procedures to be reflected in our state institutions. It's quite pathetic really that the notion of a strangle holding speech is in fact an action Bolt generally declares bankrupt because he tells us constantly what a victim he is.
Imagine if media men were barred because of the convictions of their past Bolt would be reduced to welfare. I believe given the uselessness of his product for us he should be fired. However he should be supported during a retraining program to some other occupation. He should have the freedom to be told what that might be by whoever the Abbott government chooses.
P.S Abbott asked "whose side is the ABC on? If it's doing it's job nobody's. However given the Media has called it Ciobo 1 and Mallah 0 it would seem the ABC was on the governments. So what the hell is Abbott on about is he just posturing?

1) An 19 year old inarticulate Muslin Australian Zacky Mallah pleads guilty to using threatening language 11 years ago spent 2 years in jail without bail and found innocent terrorism charges. Andrew Bolt 50 is charged for vilification 5 years ago with no jail time. Difference Zacky Mullah has no cultural capital Bolt has. Tony Abbott was convicted of malicious damage to public property and charged with sexual assault did no jail time had cultural capital and is now PM. He is suspected of being a dual citizen and refuses to prove otherwise.

b)Yes the question was legitimate if a white right wing christian had asked it there'd be no issue. If Zacky case had landed on Steve Ciobo's desk today how would he respond? A legitimate question given the circumstances.
c)No Zacky Mallah he wasn't paid
d) What a stupid question and irrelevant question did he get a lift ? Did he get a cup of tea? This shows Bolt's level of absurdity.
e) Given the answers to the above this is not required.
Andrew Bolt conveniently avoids even mentioning Minister Steve Ciobo's provocative response to an otherwise reasonable question. What would he do if Zacky Mallah's case was put before him today. The Minister an educated and articulate lawyer said " I would strip you of your citizenship and have you banished. I would have no trouble sleeeping at night" Ciobo showed the tact of a bull in a china shop.
Tony Abbott a convicted damager of public property, a person charged with sexual assault was provided with a media platform to attack the ABC for allowing not an Australian citizen on it's show but someone declared innocent of terrorism. A citizen whose only was being an inarticulate Muslim who reacted angrily to provocation.
If these aren't threats by Abbott for his Minister acting badly I don't know the meaning of the term of authoritarian overreach. A total loss of plot.

Is there any wonder Andrew Bolt wants nothing to do with history. When you have teachers of the caliber of Andrew Bolt who never try to apologize or even question his own family origins of Aalsmere Holland's most pro Nazi and anti Semitic town. When Bolt creates his own version and fantasy of a past relationship with a woman in Darwin. When he denies the telling of history by Aborigines as they experienced it for the past 200 years. As it was told to them by their forbears. When you have someone so eager to run from any past other than his what hope is there of being believed by this young generation that experiences something quite the opposite. The narrative sounds like spin.
Disenfranchised kids aren't the only ones turning to IS kids with good educations are too doctors, lawyers along with those in jail , Muslims and Christians both are listening hoping they to have an opportunity of creating not just stagnating.
It's well and good for Abbott to get up and tell us what he's saving us from. He's not saving a generation of lost youth who feel that one day they to will have a turn at opportunity to build this society.They know, feel that jobs, and opportunity are out of their reach. That what we are building is not any opportunity for them. This feeling has developed on a mass scale since Abbott has come to power. We were once the most livable nation a little less than 2 years ago and we felt it. The more intelligent listen and think and what they hear is spin others have felt it and lived it. Spin that is little more than false promise. There's no correlation between experience and what they are being told.
If there was an election today by people under 35 this Abbott government would be down the drain because their narrative is such crap. We are 15 years behind the USA and it's so obvious that Tony Abbott is leading us to where economically the USA is today and Linda Tirado was spot on but who remembers her on Q&A?
Brutality doesn't scare youth when they feel brutalized they are risk takers who like to live fast and expect to die young. We see an increase in drugs not because of the numbers being caught but those not. There's a whole country out there taking drugs to escape legal and illegal. If they felt rewarded they wouldn't be escaping in such huge numbers and retail therapy doesn't work it's is a load of crock.
If somebody listened to the Zacky Mallas, to those in our prisons, to the poor, to the indigenous, and the disadvantaged listened and not lectured they just might arrive at a narrative that's inclusive and is about building a real Team Australia. IS may be brutal but so is a feeling of slow death here. Is also seems to send a message of change that connects. Zacky Mullah stands up and says clearly that message is crap but so is ours which isn't winning hearts and minds. Why else is IS winning hearts and minds of even Syrian business men who are going to Raqqa ? Why is the population of IS held territories growing despite our bombing and raining death?
