Salaries have nothing to do with it It's the Peter Slipper question how does somebody spend $15000 on taxis. It's also the question Bolt conveniently avoids in his hub hub of a defence, the Taxis. Whistle blowers, Investigative Journalists, the ABC are all regarded as the enemies of the state. When in fact the opposite is true.

War is dirty at the best of times and the closer you get the dirtier. Sensationalist tabloids sell the worst of the dirt and Newscorp profits. There's no excitement or horror in statistics or talking about death by technology. Bombing runs and collateral damage don't do it for the readers. Yet Bolt wants to see an escalation of bombing in Iraq and Syria why because opposing rebels are being brutal to each other. Nothing is said about the collateral damage we and our allies have caused. Bolt wants more . Yes war is dirty and those with the best technology do the most harm. However it's even dirtier if the only reason is to make Tony Abbott look good and improve his poll rating. We can spend money on that.

A Liberal MP Minister in a government that was caught taking illegal donations from developers and having to retire at least 5 MP's is telling us the ABC got it wrong when reporting the event. They should have been more apologist in their broadcast of it. If Stalin was in power critical journalism would still be left even if accused of being right.
No I'm afraid critical journalism is there to stay as science is there not to tell us we have found the answers to what exists but to always question them and find their faults. It's responsibility is to test the veracity of what were told at all times whether left right or center and therefore it's on nobody's side. It may be a pain in the arse. It's why Abbott's plea "whose side are you on? misses the point because it's the ABC who is always asking that question of those in authority. They are working for us!! Europe is only offering increased debt, interest to pay the interest to pay the interest . Greece is already standing on it's head in a bucket of shit and the banks are being kind enough to say get up take a breathe and get back down.. Banks , and financial institutions were bailed out in 2008 when they caused the mess we all found ourselves in. They endured no pain. They are doing sweet FA for a country full of people in pain.
Bolt believes when the Australian banks were faced with the threat of a run of withdrawals. When they couldn't borrow money any where because they were thought risky as were all banks Wayne Swan stepping up and saying the country will stand in and as guarantors was wrong. He should have allowed the ATM's to be empty or screwed them for a profit and made them bleed. No us bleed.
