Can one imagine the history of work conditions in Australia had unions not existed. Children would still be down the mines. Banks would not give loans to workers because all work would be casual. Obviously Art has no Cultural context or history as far as Bolt is concerned if that were true it would be meaningless. Van Goghs could  hang on a dunny doors or even be doormats anywhere as far as Bolt's concerned.  Art theft by the colonial nations is quite acceptable there's no need for it to be returned. Grave robbers weren't robbers they were art enthusiasts. The Elgin Marbles aren't Greek.

 How is it that sovereignty exists but race doesn't in Bolt's weird and illogical world? We are entitled to a Border Force but not entitled to recognize a race when both are little more than social constructs as is art. Without a historic and social context all are meaningless as meaningless as any individual.

Greg Sheridan renowned Newscorp journalist and foreign editor agreed with Ray Martin  on Q&A last Monday. Sheridan called Abbott stupid Martin only called him silly. Andrew Bolt believes 'silly' is far more disparaging as he's conveniently never mention Sheridan.

However Martin was chosen for two reasons. His experience of course but primarily  because of trust  and respect with which he is held by the public. On any continuum  Bolt is at the opposite end.
