The country from which Tony Abbott and the LNP import so much of their policies. Murdoch sees the greatest priority today as does Warren Buffett and Bill Gates is the redistribution of wealth and the closing of the income gap. The very opposite of Bolt and the Australian government whose aim is the destruction of wages unions health education and welfare.

He does that to deny "stolen generations" exist deny that"traditional families " are as dysfunctional but have the resources and economic motivation not to break up. That the top echelons are not necessarily the role models to aspire to. Bolt is only spreading the the conservative myth that functionality is in fact is in some way proportional to wealth. The appropriate title of this blog should have been "take his money and run" Fox News Roger Ailes new Trump is a media draw card and he used him. Without Fox News Trump would never have been center of the debate however without Trump Fox News would never have achieved the ratings. It's ignored on the basis of economic predictions of alarmists not of warming but the profits lost by the fossil fuel industries the largest producers of these emissions. Bolt has never revealed how much he has financially invested in coal but I suspect nothing.
What we don't hear is why has our biggest bank the CBA with all it's access to economic research pulled out of Adani's Carmichael Mine if coal remains the energy source of the future? Follow the money and we see that Abbott despite his pro coal policies hasn't managed to manipulate the price up. Why do conservatives like Bolt insist that renewables and coal are mutually exclusive energy sources?

Aboriginals never had equal pay until the 60s consequently if they had families and lived near white communities they were easily victims of Christian Welfare and deemed poor. Bolt's battle of narratives the creation of history the one that best fits facts and gives better understanding to our lives is of no importance to Bolt. He always pushes for the established narrative the one that justifies the path well traveled that has brought us to where we are. So as not to be critical of the current social, economic and power relationships and institutions that support them.
In the 50s and 60s single mothers were forced to give up their children " for everyone's betterment" These girls came from all classes no documentation would indicate they were separated by force from their child whose history was denied them. Were these children " stolen"? According to the mothers they were and according to many of the children also as their histories were hidden from them. Bolt's welfare claim is tenuous because many of these girls came from well to do families and not families of poverty. However Bolt's claim show me a single case where the record shows they were stolen. It's a little like arguing pay day loans are never predatory because people agree to be ripped off.

Andrew Bolt spent so much time and energy telling Tony Abbott to sack Bronwyn Bishop. Now he's her champion. The weathercock should not be calling particular politicians to resign. This alone seems a good enough reason to call for an election and allow the electorates to decide whether or not their MPs have been gouging their entitlements. Let us judge whose the worst it's not an issue of Bishop or Burke.
