Bolt  otherwise King Smear accuses the ABC in direct terms and loudly of lying  only to print a correction at the very end in small unassuming print, like the fine print in a contract, hoping  it would go unnoticed. I wonder what the Bolt video edit might show if examined closely. How true to what happened is it?

Hendersons advice People should hold their views from the cradle to the grave otherwise they are somehow dishonest. If that were the case we'd still be flat earthers. 

Miranda Devine is simply avoiding the obvious why isn't the plebiscite being held now why 2017? She argues about the bigotry and pressure  applied to those against marriage equality but seems to ignore the fact that the poofter bashing and violence was once regarded a sport in this country. Devine makes no comment against same sex marriage nor does argue for it. Does that make her neutral? No not at all. It just trivializes the issue rather than describe it's importance to those denied it. Should abortion be allowed to women let's decide in 2020

She doesn't even begin to ask why this vote shouldn't be held now? After all both sides would prefer it settled now. Why is better held in 2017 than 2020 or 2015? Why delay if the shower of hate is so intolerable? It's still far more intolerable for gays than Devine could ever begin to describe. No it's simply Tony Abbott has been advised he can gain some political advantage by holding it later rather than now. It has nothing to do with morals or convenience at all.PM's gay marriage tactics play to his base

The word that stands out here is "hidden" something Bolt doesn't seem to agree with so he turns to Douglas Murray and a Neoconservative opinion piece  to prove otherwise. Given the 6% Muslims in the UK are extremely culturally diverse and not only from the Middle East Bolt like Murray simply take it upon themselves to "slime" Islam. It's his new favourite word "slime" but not his new technique. One sandwich doesn't make picnic one piece of graffiti in the media doesn't make a war. Particularly when as the Times says that animosity is largely hidden. Catholics and Protestants still carry hidden animosities in the UK as well  would Bolt suggest Catholic immigration be restricted?

 

 

 

Obama loses Iraq

Tony Abbott declared Australia as Iraq specialists. Both in bombing and training. But since we have done little or nothing there in a year Bolt needs to protect Abbott from further sliming and embarrassment that we haven't done as he promised degraded and defeated the death cult. So now it's Obama's fault Tony Abbott wasn't only  bragging when he said we were off to whip death cult. Obama has got in the way of Tony's promise.

Where does Bolt turn to for his source of commentary but Powerline America's Republican Tea Party ezine one of the most right wing commentators in the country. They run "the conservative agenda, especially the Iraq war and the War on Terrorism."

USA Today's Fact Check is another source  Bolt quotes but only with an incomplete cut and paste that fails to mention.

"We take no position on whether the U.S. should have left some combat troops in Iraq. But the record shows that Jeb Bush ignored the fact that his brother agreed to the withdrawal deadline and agreed not to leave behind a residual force." 

What Bolt doesn't say was that Obama was reluctant to break the contractual arrangements put in place by Bush because all trust had been broken. These agreements it seems are essential. Remember when Abbott waited 6 months on his promise to go to Iraq. He kept blaming the lawyers. 

 Bolt always ignores why we and the US  where there in the first place those never found WMD's and oil. We have heard John Wayne Howard continually tell us it wasn't his fault either... but it was a good move nevertheless. He has been cited for war crimes.

Hair brained

We saw Bolt twist the words of Adam Goodes to get the most impact for himself. It's no surprise he'd do it to the Alopecia Foundation as well. 

" Seriously? This is the media’s fault? And promoting a charity excuses you from sliming a young woman?"

It's a chance for Bolt to use his new favorite word again "sliming" There are 6 media corporations in this country and Bolt excluding himself of course has at one time or another called them slimers. However it's where he wants to be top slug. Bolt would put down a whole charity in order to get at one of their members. It's just the sort of guy he is. All this energy was for his stupid banner. There are no conservative comedians and Bolt is proof of their failure.

 

 

 

 Credlin is right and Guy was a wrecker

Every one is" Sliming " not "Smearing" Tony Abbott these days. You can't report facts or merely what's happening without being called a "Slimer". In reality "slimy creatures like slugs and snails generate their own slime. So Tony Abbott would be covered in his own self generating slime even if everybody in the Liberal Party cheered him. The reason being the man has issued directives that would have made Menzies turn in his grave. That the Liberal Party not the country disallowed  a conscience vote a moral issues If anybody crossed the floor they were told they would be dumped. That's so against the Party's central  ethic  it's heresy. Australia is not the Liberal Party. All Australians aren't Liberals. However Abbott has denied Liberalism within his own Party. The individualism Bolt declares the Party stands for. It seems it would be in Abbott's interest to get this cleared up before the election rather than after. This purely political pragmatism
