So was Bolt just posturing for a week railing against traitors unknown just venting his spleen on never to be trusted Turnbull PM who he calls a Laborite in the blue suit and tie or is he simply lying when he says he's found hope among the enemy?

Apparently Bolt is inspired by the words of Senator McGrath despite he like everybody else can be blamed for the coup. Bolt has flip flopped accusing everyone of having orchestrated the demise of Tony.
According to Bolt Abbott was a real champion of individual freedom quite the opposite of the nanny state advocated by the left. Yet we now suffer increased surveillance by ASIO, the AFP and the ABF. Our internet activity is to be monitored, travel arrangements scrutinized and our phone records kept and our transactions overseen. Facts won't just be allowed to emerge from the data but they will be able to be used and presented in such a way to imply guilt and our citizenship cancelled by a single minister with the IQ of Peter Dutton.
The opposite to a nanny state is a transparent state. The LNP have ensured we have the most opaque government since Federation with the least access to FOI. There are more government secrets and threats of jail and citizenship loss than ever before with no recourse.
Bolt's personal complaint Section 18C is still in place and off the government agenda. We the citizens of Australia are less free than we ever have been and more aggressive towards others than ever. Bombing and sanctioning and treading on toes at will. However businesses and corporations are to be given greater freedoms in the form of less regulation to do what they want even to be able to sue us for deemed and not even actual loss of profits. That's all down to the "champions of freedom" for some only. Is it the reason there was never a Royal Commission into Business in Australia only the Unions. Yet corporate fraud and tax avoidance along and white collar crime are all on the rise costing far more money than blue collar crime but they are the least prosecuted and the most lightly sentanced.

Bolt can't argue that the Party didn't elect Turnbull that he forced his way into the job. That a warning wasn't sent to Abbott back in February and that the Party no longer saw him as an assett. There weren't any surprises. He tried his best to change but couldn't. He saw what was to be an inevitable outcome. He tried to prevent it by offering a bribe to Morrison ready to dump both Hockey from treasurer and even his deputy. So much for Abbott's mythical loyalty. Abbott was just another politician who kept his cards close to his chest. He was non collegiate and a persistent gaffe maker that became a standing joke media wise both domestically and Internationally

However the right wing media like Fox News have made an enormous effort to normalize what happened.

Isn't this the process of Bolt logic on just about everything to generalize from selected single events. It's exactly what this is and highlights how the media distorts news. The reason it's an event that's become a media circus is it's driven by the Republicans who are screaming blue murder about the US taking on more Syrian refugees 185,000 in the next two years. This whole incident at any other time would not have occurred and Clinton and Obamah would not be not involved. Fox News and every other Conservative paper are over it like hyenas. The problem is they admit it was an overzealous act and it was reported as such however Fox grabbed it ran with it turned it into a political sideshow to which the democrats responded and now both sides are simply using it for their advantage. Let me say this. The Democrat message is that there's nothing to be afraid of where the Republicans are saying the fear is justified. No news in the USA is any longer just news for people to digest

It's amazing when Costello says the axing of Abbott was "certainly the right thing to do" Bolt still maintains he's now the gold standard by which to judge the future. Commonsense as usual dissolved to nonsense in the hands of Andrew Bolt. Malcolm Turnbull said "Who needs enemies when you have friends like Andrew Bolt" Abbott counted Bolt and Alan Jones as friends and News Corp his preferred media. They as much as anybody helped bring him down particularly as John Howard pointed out they helped bring Abbott down in the polls.

The truth is Australia has instantly felt the hope that's come with Liberal Lite from what was Liberal Dour. Turnbull wan't the only one who saw what 50 years of dead weight the heaviest being Tony Abbott could do. Even Bolt saw it and cried for necessary changes to Abbott is PMO and message. What Bolt calls Abbott's virtue " hisloyalty" was his downfall. His blinkered insistence that authority flows from the top down in the Liberal Party was his tin ear. If he couldn't see the need for a major reshuffle so he needed to become a part of one. The majority of the Party did and if you asked for a vote today 75% would support that change if not more. But Murdoch Press is intent on raining on their parade.

How does Bolt distort real news? A Democratic process as promised was held in the Liberal Party and it went smoothly Malcolm Turnbull is now PM. Bolts distortion is of Turnbull "now badly needs Liberals to forgive him". The majority of the Liberal party voted Abbott out. A minority of extreme Conservatives may be disgruntled however only one was heard making any great noise and that's Cory Bernardi. So in truth the Liberal Party are as happy as pigs in shit with their refreshed and reshuffled look, their jobs feel safe.
If Bolt is referring to the Liberal electorate and the vote in Canning then they are happy as well because the expected 10.5% swing against them did not occurr it was only 6.5% a better result than expected. All the hypotheticals Bolt wants to throw at us are just sour grapes that nobody is really paying attention to. So why go on?
Rupert wants an early election he has no time for Turnbull who is not his man in government. If media pressure is put on Turnbull he might be forced to call an early election. Scott M is now his favored son. Why else did they have a private dinner but not one with Malcolm Joe or Julie? Rupert is eager to promote Morrison because his ambition is to fuck the ABC. It's still the name of the game. By using News Corp to assassinate Turnbull and turning Scott the toad into a prince some action might be taken against the ABC. Turnbull is no guarantee of that. Every move is to promote that that end and Bolt is just the tool as he always was to help.

It's so easy isn't it. Andrew Bolt spent months avoiding the economy promoting side issues anything other than ask why is Tony Abbott avoiding the economy?
It got to the stage Bolt hid Abbott all together because every week there was one sort of gaffe after the other. The assassination of Bill Shorten became Bolt's favorite pass time no longer the promotion of Tony. Now and only now is Bolt saying Turnbull has to do tough stuff the stuff Abbott and Casper his Treasurer Hockey avoided.
All of this was avoided by Tony Abbott and it was becoming obvious even to the business community that he had no idea was he was doing and News Corp was helping him mask it

In the post above this one I've suggested News Corp's main game plan has always been to destroy the ABC as we know it. To break it up and cherry pick the best pieces. Tools like Kenny and Bolt to help do just that. So this is just an example of the daily work of Murdoch's drones marching to the tune of "Onward Rupert's Soldiers" Try to show how the ABC was an anti- Abbott agency.
So when Abbott himself said " if you want good press you must deliver good government" when the ABC was being critical of Gillard that was fine that was insightful that wasn't biased. What was Kenny doing at the time complaining? Only when Abbott was in government did the cry do a 180 degree turn and call foul. However thank you Chris Kenny like Bolt you have just reminded us of Abbott's failings along with you so obvious work for Rupert. Kenny has never been subtle.
