You have to laugh the post is about incompetency and it's from Andrew Bolt whose link states "server not found".
As if Abbott didn't surround himself with unelected men. His BAC and Maurice Newman, The IPA and heven tried to bring them in from OS Bjorn Lomborg wh he gave $4 mill for no result.
What is Bolt on about putting the cart before the horse. Turnbull is supposed to attend a summit with policies in hand. Well you couldn't be more thankful that Bolt is un-elected and not part of the government's brain trust. Abbott's BAC representative said ” [Business Council of Australia chief executive Jennifer] Westacott told reporters, describing the meeting as “outstanding”. Quite the opposite of Andrew bolt who wasn't even there. One can be assured there was no loose cannons and a meeting about issues any company director would have appreciated and any responsible person needed to address instead of firing from the lip as Hockey used to do. As for Bolt I guess he has to wait his turn to find out what occurred or hear it from the ABC.
Maybe Bolt can explain why Abbott the back bencher is running an media management campaign against the best interests of the current government? Even Bolt's mate Sari Markson has said enough is enough and he should now zip his lip.
Bolt the statistician we know is comparing apples with carrots as he usually does, Legal activity with illegal. Known statistics with unknown. Firstly the smoking rate remains far higher than the rate of illegal drugs. The rate of legal drug taking is soaring not going in the direction Bolt claims. Secondly one is defined criminal the other legal which makes it a secretive activity of which there is a lot we don't know about. So Bolt's wisdom is flagging for his obvious lack of knowledge. Thirdly smoking related deaths and illness caused by the legal drug far outweighs the damage caused by illegal drugs. Holland Portugal are some examples of how decriminalising the use of drugs and legalising their sale has had a major turnaround in the social damage caused not necessarily their recreational use. However after trying the uptake tapers off. When faced with the reality of use real actions to reduce the damage become far less expensive. Only then might a cultural campaign supporting their reduction might be of any real use use. Cultural campaigns have often had the opposite effect and increased curiosity to try.
Bolt is suggesting prohibition and cultural campaigns work in parallel Where can he point to statistics that prove his point. Does he really think alcohol prohibited in the 20's would have closed illegal speakeasies if there were cultural campaigns against it ? There were. The man has a minimal IQ and makes no effort at informed research.
Legalize drugs and make them affordable after all they are widely used across the whole spectrum of society at least the social costs of crime would be reduced for one. However it also needs to be coupled with providing jobs and hope of a secure future for those who now have none and can now ill afford to take drugs but do and commit crimes to support the use. There are far more users of illicit drugs than just the poor and those addicted. In the main there recreational users totally invisible. Whenever has saying 'no' got in the way of human curiosity. Cultural campaigns will only work if there is free and affordable access curiosity fulfilled These campaigns need to be directed at all legal drugs.
Colorado has collected so much tax since legalizing weed it's giving money back and it's not because there are more smokers.
In and example of picking sides Bolt supports Putin and the Russians over Obama simply because Tea Party Republicans in the USA do purely for their distorted political advantage. Again we see side comes first and outweighs principles. Putin before Obama. Whose side is Bolt on Assad's or the rebels? Should we ask again and again and again? When did agility mean speed? Bolt seems to not understand the difference. The Summit is being held today somehow Bolt feels it should be already over and that it's unnecessary. I guess that's the Abbott way. Criticism without any suggested solutions is Bolt's practise of Turnbull, of Obama in the Middle East, and anything not Abbott. Notice how silent he remains though on Scott Morrison and this mini summit. It's as much his as it is Turnbull's. Andrew Bolt's hypocrisy is a shining beacon. Chris Brown for him is a person to be forgiven for his past record of violence yet Zacky Mullah should never be even though his was only a threat. "Sorry" is accepted for Brown but denied for the Zacky. Troy Newman was part of an anti- abortion group whose second in charge was convicted of a bomb plot. He also is defended by Bolt for the right to speak publicly but Zacky has no such right . What is the principle behind Bolt's blind picks here? None they aren't totally arbitrary he simply takes sides and throws principle out the window.

This statement could be applied to Andrew Bolt in his treatment of Zacky and any number of totally innocent people Bolt has maligned in the past and there are a lot.
What's interesting is the decision to ban these two persons entry to Australia was made by Peter Dutton one of Abbott's stawlwarts who Bolt upholds as a true blue conservative Liberal a hero. One of the few still left in the LNP. Bolt steps on Dutton to just take advantage to rebuke Get Up. Even conservative friendship runs extremely diluted with Bolt.
As for the joy Bolt gets because of the confusion over our racist immigration policy Get Up simply took the Bolt approach "color does not exist" in the matter of domestic violence. So on that basis Dutton's decision to ban Brown was supported. The pleasure Bolt get's shows he in fact is a racist because he doesn't deny the part it plays or could play in our immigration policy.

Apart from Bolt's atrocious grammar, he also makes further grammatical errors further down on this page. He is such a hypocrite. He advocates freedom of speech but has speakers kicked of the Festival of Dangerous Minds. He helps young journos get fired from the ABC and SBS and attempts to do the same with academics whose ideas he dislikes. He constantly assures us the ABC is not a place for free opinion and yet here he is defending an anti- abortionist. There is obviously more to this banning Newman other than just his anti- abortion ideas but that we won't hear from Bolt who simply distorts what has happened by omission.

to fame was he could start a neo Conservative Party for all those
disaffected conservative Liberals the 1000's in fact he says he knows
left the Liberal Party or want to leave it and have nowhere to go. He
brought it up on The Project. He could have a new party in place with
the snap of his fingers.
We to have in mind his party. It
would indeed be anti the UN and the UNHCR. Also strictly against social
welfare as those on welfare are by and large bludgers to be blamed for
their condition. They need be forced to pull themselves up by their
bootstraps. If one actually takes into account Bolt's anti Muslim, anti-
indigenous sentiments and his approach to the Middle East an image
emerges as very similar to Golden Dawn. After all would he stop members
of the PDL and Reclaim Australia joining his party after all the
championing he does for them?
Even Bolt's misguided complaint
against the ABC and Tony Jones sounds more like an order than just a
grievance an order by way of a threat to Malcolm Turnbull that if he

It's hardly believable that the Abbott lead Liberal Party brutalized Peter Slipper destroyed his marriage,and hospitalised him for $900 yet allowed Bronwyn Bishop off the hook for a history of entitlement abuse. It's obvious signing false stat declarations in this country is meaningless in the eyes of the law. Bolt claims Abbott's loyalty goes unquestioned when it comes to friends. Wasn't he a guest of honor at Slipper's wedding?
Bolt believes in either the runaway and hide option to global citizenship and diplomacy. He prefers to instigate a war of name calling against China, Congo, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam who on any other day are suitable to be called allies and trading partners. "No, that’s not a joke." Imagine Bolt advocating ChAFTA for us.
We shouldn't engage or even try to convince people of a better options when it comes to Human Rights because as far as Bolt is concerned there are none other than our self interest.

For a citizen of a country with little or no defence and no money even to purchase a significant one Bolt's sounds like a roaring mouse trying to sound like a dragon happy to become a world isolate with the belief the US have our back. Bolt has the most extreme un-Australian attitude only ever seen among the most extreme fringe elements of this country. Does Bolt even make any sense? What insane hatred of Abbott does Turnbull have to justify? When and where has he been showing it?
In his eagerness to tread on Turnbull's toes Bolt is comparing Abbott's return to the Knighthood and Dames honours and knighting Prince Philip to pursuing another stint on the UN Security Council. The difference Andrew Bolt is obvious one is very insular and self interested moving the country backward. The other is an expansive effort to keep Australia as a global player and citizen. You choose which is which.Abbott’s downfall caused a ‘civil war’ on the right. But can the left take advantage of it?

It seems Bolt hasn't any confidence in the Liberal ability to multitask. He seems overly concerned in which policies be given preference. However asking what the government's preferred line up is really shows he is unable understand that there is a raft of ministers to tackle that raft of policies. The days of Captain Abbott are over. The IPA is no better it's also questioning the order of play and when it's turn is coming for favours to be met after all it feels it has a position of privilege. It becomes pretty obvious their carping is for themselves and not for the country.
