Andrew Bolt sick but not sick. A dope but not dope possibly the budgie hidden by Abbott and carried everywhere or was that Credlin?
So easily forgotten Ted Cruz has been dumped by Bolt as his favorite and has been replaced by Fiorina once a CEO voted among the worst in the USA. Of course she can match Donald he was the worst a 4 times bankrupt corporate head. However they both have boardroom experience none of which was regarded as a success. Fiorina took Hewlitt-Packard to half it's value from when she started and was forced out never to be a CEO again. Interesting Bolt seems to be favoring a non professional politician.
Returning to 2009 does nothing of substance other than tells us the LNP is full of collectivist factions filled with paranoid individuals who have just brought about the demise of Tony Abbott as they did Malcolm Turnbull before him. First by just 1 vote then by 10. To ensure stability before Bolt and News Corp completely shellack Turnbull they will drive the Party to an early election. It's what Rupert Murdoch wants. It's his only chance of seeing the possibility of a hostile senate gone, the ABC friendly Turnbull rolled and Scott Morrison installed as his new puppet. His goal to dismantle the national broadcaster before he drops dead.
UPDATE
Hyperbole in print. Bolt needs Rowan Dean to say it for him because if he keeps it coming he will be seen for what he is not a commentator but just an advocate for the most conservative and right wing section of this community. " Politicians in the LNP are fundamentally self interested and ready to cannibalize if the need arises. Trust is not in their philosophy because the individual comes first it was clearly shown with the dumping of Abbott. The Conservative collective established by Abbott was always going to be temporary.
Fundamentally anti-labour, pro free market deregulation and small government they love to promote division and differences. Promoting social and cultural issues are a distraction to the way we basically relate economically. Creating issues around Indigenous, gay, drugs Islam etc distract from the fact that Australia is in the main a working class nation of people that needs that collective nature recognized and at the fore front of all debate. That consciousness in all probability is best recognized by the indigenous, women and refugee migrants. The unions need to understand that underlying unity. Those are divisions that Andrew Bolt exploits along with the the extreme conservatives in the LNP. Create the illusion of difference and not the recognition of the economic duality of Australia. It's something they fear the most and Abbott lead them in that stand. Islamophobia, terrorism, intervention the Royal Commission simply hide the fact that the wealth and income gaps are growing and need to be addressed. Bernie Sanders in the USA and Jeremy Corbin's rise in the UK reflects this.

I'm sorry John Hewson said it all the LNP government under John Howard failed to invest in the renewable industry that's over 20 years ago. Australia was in position to be leaders in a new world industry that's growing like topsy Internationally. Banks financial institutions and super funds are pulling out fossil fuels yet government has cut assistance into a booming opportunity while still subsidizing and industry in decline. The government is not supporting an industry that can supply 1000s of jobs simply to keep it's donors happy. The notion of an ETS, a carbon, or direct action is of little importance if renewable targets aren't increased and the Australian public know that. Abbott's $550 in household pockets was a lie. Job reductions are the direct result of inaction and world decline rather than direct action which is paying for natural attrition rather than real action. The Liberals just continue to progess along the lost opportunity path and have even now hobbled Turnbull. The biggest renewable investor in the world has pulled out of a 4 billion investment here. We’re Obliterating Global Temperature Records, and There’s No End in Sight

Bolt applies the same logic where conclusions don't emerge from the facts but facts are squashed in to fit wanted conclusions. The bent cop approach to ones right.

Start your own political Party Andrew Bolt and stop stirring up a history everybody already knows. Turnbull was asked to join the Labor Party and yes he's a small l liberal. He never joined. Business's give donations to all parties surprise ,surprise.
The constant criticism and sniping comes from Andrew Bolt who worked for the Labor party he gave of himself not just a donation and he remembers those days fondly. He tried to bring down a government and now he's pointing the bone at Turnbull. It goes to show what an unprincipled hypocrite he is. A loud mouth from the bleachers yelling at Turnbull as he did Adam Goodes and worse still a three year old drowned refugee boy who couldn't yell back. Meanwhile what's not talked about is reality.Vocational education, the biggest get-rich quick scheme in Australia

Hungary is semi- European. It shows how little Bolt knows about Hungarians. It also shows how little he knows dressing up "his invasion" as the politics of envy and just a Muslim invasion. What is happening and uniting masses is economic need desperation created by war. If resisted the refugees will inevitably become political. Germany understands that. Right wing fascists like Bolt will be the cause of violence if there's any to come simply to gain political benefit.
The West has an obligation to help those in camps with money and to help bring about a political solution not enforce one. It might be that the fringe extremists like ISIS do need to to be dealt with on the ground but not by the West which could fuel an even greater escalation of the war that's in progress. Choices need to be made with the support of Russia. Compromises are inevitable and it won't necessarily be a clean end as this war has been in progress for a very long time and will continue with unintended consequences. John Howard helped light the fuse to this and it grew like topsy.

There are too many MPs whose jobs are more important than grudges. There aren't enough old school conservatives to make a move on Turnbull. Sorry the jobs Turnbull's and Morrison isn't about to be named as Brutus twice.
" Far more dangerous to Turnbull are the Liberals disgusted by the
treachery and deceit that went into assassinating former leader Tony
Abbott."
What sort of a dummy is Bolt as a political commentator when he thinks MPs principles come before their careers and pensions. Bolt will witness some of the "old time conservatives" rolled. The hate for Morrison by conservatives is now entrenched because after all he's always been a pragmatic Liberal not a principled one. We saw that the way he took on and handled Immigration while calling himself small L. Even before that his eagerness to create a Muslim divide after the Cronulla riots was reigned in by the moderates of the party. He sees the political advantage he goes for it. No Bolt, with Morrison as Treasurer nothing will occur in the next 12 months other than the likelihood of an early election.
Go start the new Party you said you could lead and get the disgruntled to follow youd deserve each other. Loud mouths are what they are just loud mouths. You sound like Clive.
John Howard's opinion is of no value to Andrew Bolt that's how good he thinks he is

I've said it was Scott Morrison that drove the dagger into Abbott up to the hilt all along. You could see it on his face when he had to tell the two clowns on his left that there was a boom there. He no longer wanted to be in the same room as then and Abbott knew it. Dutton just stood there like the every man's log really unaware what he'd done.
Bolt now the never ending sook can't say "I can't bear to bad mouth his annointed one" can only say " that Morrison gave up a chance to become Prime
Minister himself by year’s end. Morrison made a choice that comes at a
cost to his reputation among conservatives:" He can't give him a shellacking in case thing turn again because Bolt still wants to keep this turd polished.
It was so obvious that it was Morrison not Turnbull not Bishop that brought Abbott down. Turnbull is now offering him the poison chalice of Treasurer which will ensure he'll stay on side. Because if Turnbull falls so will Morrison. Bolt's not that bright as a political commentator suggesting this. He must have got it from others it's called churnalism.
"The charge against Morrison is hypocrisy and it is being made by
significant figures in the party’s conservative wing with potential
long-run consequences."

Can Bolt keep up the anti-Liberal message he's been delivering since Abbott was dumped until 2016 ? He's always been a Labor media assett when broadcasting the constant Liberal failures he's even louder now. He once raved on about the poverty of strategy and advice coming out of Abbott's office, Abbott's lack of ability to sell himself and his message. So much so Bolt put him in his media closet and concentrated on sliming Shorten.
So it's 50:50 according to the current Essential Poll and Bolt isn't cheering. He's in fact doing Labor's advertising for them by claiming the jump isn't as big as when his most favored enemy Gillard took over and so much less when Rudd did the same. Bolt truly is a quizzling a gutted consevative that will take no shame in whiteanting his "favoured Party" .Who needs enemies The world reacts to Australia’s leadership spill

Given that it's the Herald Sun the least trusted media source in the country that's being used as Bolt's primary source this post can only be taken as a totally non verified and unsourced. Opinion most likely twisted for political purposes.
Given it's about electoral rules it's even more likely to be biased. I recall The Liberal party published glossy brochures and ran TV campaigns where millions were spent on the basis of "electorate information" when all they were were simply advertorials in the Napthine governments election campaign. Wasn't it $2 mill they spent on out and out political campaigns paid for by the electorate and tax payer money?

"Another classic bit of Farrelly, seeing nefarious connections in coincidences:"
I don't think Bolt even understands how stupid he appears when he criticizes those so much better in Social Philosophy and Social Science than he is. The concepts of the Protestant Ethic and Marxism might as well be on the dark side of the moon as far as he's concerned.
Why is he criticizing Farrelly when he and Farrelly are on the same page. Bolt lives in the world of Fountain Head and Atlas Shrugged in his efforts to explain a world created by great men restricted by ignorance and regulation by dullards and Farrelly in the world of great religions such as the Protestant Ethic. Both believe ideas are the powerhouse of human action and history rather than our changing economic realities which impact on our relationships.
Economic necessity brings people together for a need to change and with it the way we think. Religion does little or nothing to clarify the events it generally restricts progress and masks what is really happening. It's no better illustrated in the mass movement of refugees in Syria and in the world today. Bolt writes this off simply as the politics of envy and needs to be stopped. In fact he denies needs are a factor altogether and the historic economic determinants that drive it even today.
As for Australia Abbott cut funding to science and research. He denied the progress of renewable energy which has been a huge potential and opportunity for the country. He has done the same for scientific & medical research and have put us behind the 8 ball driving our brightest and best overseas. His changes to the NBN has insured we will be even lagging behind 3rd world countries let alone developed ones with costs blowing out to unimaginable proportions on a second rate system. Basically Howard and Abbott's lack of innovative spending have put us as much as 40 years behind. Bolt and Farrelly in the meantime argue about Religion and how ideas apply to wars and climate change and not material facts. Why are we blaming ‘culture’ for social and economic problems?

It says more about Truss than Turnbull. It also shows past National's experience of the Liberal Party and just how weak the Coalition has been since the days of Doug Anthony. I'm sure Abbott's 65 broken promises consolidated that attitude. It has always been more to do with history and recent experience than the current new state of affairs that requires things written. It's simply the ultra conservative way of thinking of people who see themselves as a very minor players in their own minds as well as those of the Liberals. Vale Doug Anthony.
" Mr Corbyn had turned up on foot for his first official engagement
wearing a mismatched jacket and trousers with his shirt unbuttoned at
the top."
This coming from Andrew Bolt the man who stepped out of Peter Jackson's window. criticizing Jeremy Corbyn. Bolt who tries to look like Prince William rather than his dad Charles the would be king of England. Bolt so mimics his idea of cool he forgets he isn't. Corbyn doesn't really pay attention an just winds up looking like Bolt.
I'll bet Bolt doesn't know the words to our anthems and doesn't sing them anyway.
