Well let's see the simple story Andrew Bolt will make of this now that Turkey and Russia are supposedly our allies. Turkey refused to shoot a shot in anger when the Kurds were trying to take back Kobane from ISIS. Will two Russian pilots simply be collateral damage or will the Turks save them? Are the Turkmen in the area friend or enemy. If so of whom? A short time ago these Russian pilots were enemies of Turkey and the coalition forces just as much as the Syrian government was. Today they no longer our enemies. But whose side is coalition member Turkey on? They surely can't be supporting Assad.

The choice will say a lot yes but it will say a lot about Andrew Bolt who was a great supporter Peta Credlin and a great supporter of Abbott being allowed to choose his Department head. He was also a supporter of the cabal of Credlin and her husband along with Abbott running a party where free flow of ideas became restricted. Andrew Bolt somehow found this structure and the kidnapping of the Australian Liberal Party as admirable and an example of strong leadership rather than the reduction of true Liberal principles.
The choice whatever Turnbull makes will be closer to what the principles of the Party originally stood for.

No Bolt they met to discuss the issues that worried the party. The PMO, Peta Credlin and the inability to meet with Abbott for a start and countless other things they felt were important. It's something that Bolt can't even imagine that leaders should be available to listen and Abbott was a supposed leader. Turnbull does listen and Bolt still sees that as weakness. Bolt doesn't listen to anyone but Murdochians and not all of them at any one time.
Bolt is like the contrarian in a first year uni tute the show off sticking his bit in just to make a noise the direction and content uninportant. He hasn't changed other than his direction is Right. His only reward is attention. He doesn't care he moderates his blogs to whatever he likes.
So 9 conservatives have been named and mentioned. As Bolt loves to say a "significant minority" like the significant minority of Muslims he talks about. This minority group is praised by Bolt for their wise discussions nothing suss about them they are all Christians.

By the way I don't know what happened in the Liberal Party but it was Abbott that bounced that Conservative party to the left after the first disastrous budget when he simply said "The budget has now been fixed" without explanation. The Chicken Little cry of panic vanished. Any notion of fairness gets a shellacking from conservatives like Bolt because it actually says the increase in the income and welfare gaps need addressing and it suggests increased taxes for the poor rich. McCrann says fairness undermines the economy as does happy workers and confidence. "This is not an ideological position." However scrotum in his usual fashion delivers us jargon, a message that to the ordinary human being becomes award winning meaninglessness. Abbott and Bolt have been fully active working for IS they have an ice blocks chance in hell in being nominated for any peace prize or it seems any prize for political tactics. What they fail to realize the increasingly regressive the government becomes and the greater the conservative voice the media provide the greater the push back from the electorate to authoritarian rule.
Murdoch's wish an early election. Most likely outcome an early election. Murdoch's activity whiteanting Turnbull until an early election is held. To continue to whiteant him in the hope of another more user friendly jockey is on board. Unfortunately for News Corp 2016 is not looking like a rosy year here or in the US post election.

In a blog below Bolt sympathized with the "brave resistnce movement" in Raqqa that complained about Russia's indiscriminant bombing of hospitals in the centre of the city. Here Bolt applauds Abbott for wanting to lift "restrictive targeting rules" placed on us suggesting we be more like Russia. It seems Bolt doesn't know what it is he wants. He also declared that restrictive definitions of collateral damage need to be ignored. It's ok to kill Syrian families but no Australian civilians can be hurt. When Bolt asked Abbott about sending troops to Syria Abbott clearly said we already had troops in Iraq and refused Bolt the satisfaction of hearing him say extra troops from Australia. Who is spinning this fantasy other than Bolt.

Bolt blames immigration for Paris " The politicians who unleashed this great and irreversible demographic

their citizens." Bolt simply converges domestic terrorists both French and Belgian citizens born in the EU with migrants. He simply progagandizes a complex problem with Abbott's slogan "stop the boats". It releases him of any obligation to examine the wealth and income gaps in France and Belgium and any systemic racism in the countries.
For anti-Islamic evidence Bolt turns to Teun Voeten, a cultural anthropologist and war photographer, once lived in Molenbeek who clearly describes the alienation of Moroccan youth in Molenbeek. He clearly feels some Belgian rejects are united in their poverty criminality and lack of future. It's typical of Bolt however to blame Islam because of it's involvement in the community and it's support. Like the Catholic church is involved in the poor communities in Latin America. Only the right wing interests like Bolt blame the faiths for any radicalized and political activity that might occur rather than the systemic nature of racism in the wider community and the lack of change provided by the government. In like manner Bolt blames Indigenous Culture of Australia for their social problems rather than the systemic racial discrimination.
Is Bolt's banner English or Spanglish?
Problem with Bolt's excerpt it isn't first hand and there are as many if not more excerpts about the atrocities committed by the Assad government supporters as there are about ISIS. What I find strange is the voice of the Syrian who says " “It was like New York! A second New York! People from Australia! From Belgium! From Germany! From France! A global tide!" That alone sounds suss as there is no Times Square in Raqqa.
However why is Andrew Bolt publicly telling us and ISIS about the existence of RBSS in Raqqa notifying those whizz kids of the ISIS internet that there is a resistense movement among them? He even identifies one

We know many of the rebels against Assad went over to ISIS because they paid more to do so. They were farmers average age 27 with families to feed. ISIS were better equipped and weren't totally green civilians without experience. The FSA didn't join ISIS to learn a foreign language or to even be with foreigners nor were all ISIS recruits as religious as Bolt makes out. They were there to fight Assad. It makes perfect sense that you go with the strength and bring your equipment when you come to a revolution.
There have been excerpts telling of business people whose lives were reduced to nothing but uncertainty by Assad also fleeing to Raqqa in order to make a living and feed their families. The fact is Raqqa and Mosul are populated cities controlled by ISIS but not necessarily all supporters of them. They are however in the main anti- the Syrian government. They are cities populated by families who are not just imprisoned or even active supporters of ISIS. Where in this cut and paste of Bolt's is this "brave resistense movement"? Bolt's given them away.

1)The problem, Conservatives hide behind Religion to not reveal the politics of greed. The West's economic interest in the Middle East has always been oil. So it's had a historic need to support tyrannical governments that would protect that strategic interest for it's safety. When dictators become too big for their boots they are replaced in the hope of installing a more western friendly power. We saw that with invasion of Iraq, Libya. The politics within those countries was primarily class driven. To say otherwise is to simply blame religion and cover up the class nature of the issue. Yes Marx did talk of the fact that religion was used to hide the economic nature of material events. Costello does nothing to alter that view. Here is a Christian dictating to Islam what it must do as if he were the Prophet. There is no mention of economics or politics.

2)The Problem domestically is not a class problem it's Immigration and multiculturalism not the politics of greed.
Conservatives blame Immigration and multiculturalism that have made this country a huge success in the eyes of the world to deny it now is to obscure the real political and economic nature of their unachievable and failing goals to maintain the balance of economic and political control of the worlds resources. Basically the masters of the universe feel they are losing their grip.
So if we the " coalition " needs to obscure the economic nature of our invasion of the Middle East and Nth Africa and our interference in their politics we can do it by blaming Islam. In doing that we are simply creating a filter with which to hide the true nature of the politics at home and the regions in which we are or the "coalition is involved. It's the politics of greed and not religion. Why do we the Western coalition have a military presence in more than 134 countries? Why do we amplify an insignificant amount of civil disobedience on Islam. Why are we promoting the division we see playing out in Melton. The politics of power & greed.
3) Hitler went to great lengths to hide the politics of his greed. So much so he defined the genetic history of what it means to be Jewish in order to justify their persecution to be able to blame the sins of the innocent on their forefathers. Here the social and pychological history of being Muslim is defined in Goebellian terms by Andrew Bolt. If you can't find evidence to blame immigration and multiculturalism for the Paris massacre and need to blame it of French citizens then look at their parents and relations and you will find an immigrant Muslim. The priority is to put the blame on the Culture in particular Islam and not on the politics of greed & power in the country. We indulge in economic conservatism domestically and internationally and create the seeds of anger not among all Muslims why? We create the divisions but hide it by saying it's Muslim
Has anyone noticed Bolt still refers to Syrian passports found near the bodies of the Parisian suicide bombers. They weren't Syrian or even passports they were a lie false documents. Yet even when fake Bolt still refers to them as Syrian if they have some relevance to his misguided truth .

Bolt is determined to blame the sins of these children on their fathers if not their grand fathers will do just as Hitler did to define who were Jews and to be blamed for all evil. It obscures the fact and the examination of class and the politics of greed in French society. When French citizens born in France who feel French are told they are not and have no economic future in the country the anger has less to do with their religion as is proposed.
4) The truth

Yes terrorism is on the increase but only 4.4% of terrorist acts are committed in the West and only 2.6% of deaths. So what is Bolt doing he is obscuring the complexity of politics in the Middle East with little more than sweeping generalizations about Islam. Rather than examining our foreign policy of interference for western economic interest or the nature of the class war that's going on in the region. So much so Bolt and the conservatives are now calling for the invasion of Syria and the attack and bombing of rebels that recently were regarded as "freedom fighters".

What is Bolt even saying here 1) stop immigration 2) We need to go there. It makes more sense not to go. What Costello does is show religion isn't just an opiate it's tool which is used to obscure the complexity and class nature that's occurring globally but in particular Islamic nations as it once did and still does Christian ones Latin America being an example or Bhuddist ones Myanmar another.
