'Reminiscent of the world's slums': Quaedvlieg's diary describes 'squalid' facilities on Nauru  

 Roman Quaedvlieg, the former Australian Border Force commissioner, pens a 3,800-word reflection on the conditions facing nearly 1,000 asylum seekers and refugees held in "squalid" facilities at Australia's immigration facilities on Nauru.

There seems to be a lot of energy spent on denouncing the personalities involved but little time devoted to examining the details of the accusations. Surely the facts and their transparency are far more important?
