Andrew Bolt was always great believer IS media and its claims when others were casting doubt Bolt was taking their word even above others as the reality. Now he's decided to change tack and doubt them and even doubt the Sri Lankan government itself why? Is it because he became a centre of accusations himself? After all his anti-Islamic hate-speech and writing for the past six years had others pointing at his liability in motivating and enabling the Christchurch shooter. Bolt did it for much the same reasons as ISIS media did tactical politics and to encourage extremists of either kind and create division. Bolt, since Christchurch seems is running scared and for cover denying any involvement in inspiring right-wing extremist violence because that would also connect him to the revenge that occurred in Sri Lanka. Right-wing media pundits and Islamophobic media along with politicians have used hate and fear as a political strategy and have a lot to answer for.

 Bolt in usual Bolt style is about to have a shot at Waleed Aly along the way which is so predictable of him. He seems to be obsessed Aly and his wife media stalking them in the hope of shining some light on himself, and he does, but it's not the sort of shine he cherishes. Aly operates from a position of reason, rationality and common sense in contrast to Bolt's irrational, twisted and emotional hatred of Islam, Muslims, fear of being caught and called out for it. Aly's candid common sense Bolt calls an apology for Muslim extremism it's not. While Andrew Bolt's firebrand "who let them in" cry which he claims is the Australian psyche reflected in Reclaim Australia, the UPF and Blair Cotteral, real Aussie's.

 Andrew Bolt can't abide by or explain Waleed's popularity among the 800k Australians that watch Aly nightly compared to the 30-40k that watch him. The trust they have in Waleed, while not having the equivalent in him, infuriates Bolt. Aly is a media hero and Bolt a pariah whose ratings as small as they are, seem not to be because he's regarded with trust or insight but rather because he's seen more like a media sideshow, the Carnival freak when it comes to real news and mainstream opinion. He's the Elephant Man.
