Andrew Bolt's manufactured outrage is clearly what John Howard claimed Abbott's comment would give rise to, but his is both hypocritical and venal and not just for Tony sake but because he's still advertising Clive Palmer's UAP in this post. In the meantime trying to label minor campaign altercations as representative of the majority of Australians. Bit of a struggle though when they aren't Muslims, Africans or Antifa Bolt's usual victims singled out for their religion, colour ethnicity and politics.
Yesterday he was apologising for Abbott's politicisation of Bob Hawkes death. He's silenced himself on that score because even the leading Liberals were bagging Abbott out and telling Tony to shut up. Now Bolt his media pitbull has as well because Abbott has and needs it to be forgotten on this voting day and not be shown up for the "cut snake" he is. Bolt's job is to find another distraction that's not Abbott, and that's easy just magnify any small event in which nobody was arrested.
It reminds us when PM Abbott was in power and kept putting his foot in his mouth. Bolt kept promising he's going to change only he didn't. Bolt just shut up and turned his sights on Bill Shorten instead as if Tony was a lost cause. Making mountains out of molehills is a sign of desperation, not one that has anything to do with reality.

LABOR MPS SAY HAWKE WAS THE BEST. SO WHY DID THEY SACK HIM?

I was so inspired by Bob Hawke at his best that I twice worked for his government. But what I don't hear now from Labor MPs who hail him as our greatest PM is why they sacked him. That's a pity, because Labor has failed to learn a lesson - and we will now pay. My editorial from The Bolt Report.

A user and abuser a very un-Australian man indeed with not a shred of Hawke's personality that united the country. Bolt may have worked for the ALP once in the NT but not because he was inspired by Bob Hawke that the Trump in Bolt speaking. He worked for the $$ while being as he says "a minder to a belly dancer" his girlfriend who kept him. Bob Hawke was the very opposite of what inspires him never for a moment part of the extreme far right which Bolt saw as a road to money and opportunity just as he does know. He never had an epiphany. He was always a snob, aloof and saw his chance to rise socially in women and not the hurly-burly of competition. Bolt never wanted to be a journalist and as fortune would have it along came Roger Ailes who didn't need journalists at a time when journalists weren't rushing to do what Ailes wanted propagandists.
As for Hawke the ALP didn't sack him they sacked Mark Latham and look at how they get on now. The ALP and Bob Hawke maintained their love affair until the moment he died, and Bolt's shit-stirring and pathetic post reflects just that.We know how the Liberal Party will treat Abbott just they did Hewson, Fraser and Turnbull...nice Party hey?
