Strange Bolt suddenly calls the Andrews government a "can-do "one which he wasn't doing prior to the election and is now burrowing into what's left of the thin crowd of conservative Liberals and calling them 'we' rather than what he regards as " inarticulate Liberal opposition of Liberal Left persuasion."Bolt. It's no wonder Bolt and the right are staggering there's nobody in the Party, or the electorate left to hold them up after the beating they suffered. Crying victimhood on behalf of the base fails to explain why what Bolt and the right saw as the heartland, their base swing so hard against them Malvern, Hawthorn, Brighton yes even Kroger couldn't deny that drubbing and resigned.
What has made the fanatical bullying Right, the self-proclaimed, most astute Australian politicians suddenly cry victimhood? A woman a Liberal that finally responded to their abuse and the culture of the Liberal Party. A Party where abuse is defined a normal in politics and our Democracy. However, that's justification for bad behaviour and that's ignoring the voters 91% of whom have declared they have lost touch.

CURRY: CLIMATE CHANGE WON'T DROWN US
Climate scientist Judith Curry has reviewed sea level rises: "The appropriate range of sea level rise scenarios to consider for 2100 is 0.2–1.6 m. These... are contingent on the climate models predicting the correct amount of temperature increase. There are numerous reasons to think that the climate models are predicting too much warming."
Why is it Andrew Bolt ignores the peer-reviews of Judith Curry? Because she is his latest Messiah of Global Climate Science the final word on anti-warming? It was for some 20 years we were told that title belonged to Roy Spencer when Bolt broadcast the news that the planet had been cooling since 1998. Why do leaders like Trump/Murdoch spend so much energy trying to bury reports of real science released by their own government scientific bodies like the EPA and world institutions like the IPCC to promote outliers like Spencer and Curry? They are trying to make the release of scientific information illegal in the US on the grounds of National Security making them look more like Latin dictators not leaders of world Democracies
While others like Bolt look for that single superman or woman to promote on which the world should base their final climate judgements on, today it's a poorly regarded Judith Curry. The fact is there are today fewer and fewer deniers of global warming than there are scientists that agree and that speaks for itself.
It wasn't so long ago that Andrew Bolt along with Abbott simply called warming science "crap" the planet was actually "cooling" and the science for warming was actually a "religion" This week Bolt's stopped that and now says it is warming but the science and scientists are just alarmists preaching crap because it's not warming that fast and the extreme weather we see today is no justification for thinking otherwise or changing anything we do about producing energy. Just because old technologies are dirtier, less efficient, more expensive and have more deleterious consequences than the new shouldn't sway us.
Why is the third world turning away from fossil fuels? Because their healthier cleaner cheaper energy is far more positive than fueling climate-induced mass migration and wars in maintaining and militarizing security over their "have-not" populations. It makes little sense promoting energy resources if the profits need to go on ensuring populations don't riot so a shift is being seen worldwide away from fossil fuels

Global temperatures in 2018 are set to be the fourth highest on record, the UN said Thursday, stressing the urgent need for action to rein in runaway warming of the planet.
In a report released ahead of the COP 24 climate summit in Poland, the World Meteorological Organization pointed out that the 20 warmest years on record have been in the past 22 years, and that “2018 is on course to be the 4th warmest year on record.”
“This would mean that the past four years – 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 – are also the four warmest years in the series,” the UN agency said in its provisional report on the state of the climate this year.
The “warming trend is obvious and continuing,” WMO chief Petteri Taalas told reporters in Geneva.
The report shows that the global average temperature for the first 10 months of the year was nearly 1.0-degree Celsius above the pre-industrial era (1850-1900)

SO WHICH SIDE ARE THE BULLIES?
HARTCHER'S STITCH-UP Fairfax's Peter Hartcher paints Julia Banks as a saint and takes her word that the Liberals, allegedly hijacked by the Right, are bulliers of women. Yet Banks again fails to give a single example - and the one Liberal she implies tried to bully her was Steve Irons, a Turnbull supporter trying to stop conservative Peter Dutton. Bolt's bullies think the world is warming, tolerate gays as role models for children, want safe schools, think Muslims are Australians just like him and women don't just belong in the kitchen and ought to feel they are as free to do what they want just as Bolt is. Bolt's bullies see multiculturalism and diversity as a positive and not as a division to use to create fear. To think otherwise like Bolt is to be the victim of an oppressive society run by bullies.
That's why Andrew Bolt hates Australia so much and retains a Dutch passport ready for escape for escape. He said his mother never felt at home here and neither did he until very late in life but it seems about that he was lying because aloofness isn't shyness as Bolt had everyone believe. As for Tony Abbott's offerings of "Team Australia" they can be considered help, well yes they are, for the ALP. Bill Shorten would dearly love to see Abbott on everybody's hustings and not just in back rooms or overseas still white-anting his own Party. At this moment who is calling for his help nobody and where is he?
BANKS CHANGES MIND TO TAKE REVENGE ON DUTTON
Peter Dutton's eligibility worry Julia Banks when friend Malcolm Turnbull was Prime Minister. It's only a problem now, after Dutton led a coup against Turnbull: "Former Liberal MP Julia Banks [says] Dutton should refer himself to the High Court over the payment of Commonwealth subsidies to childcare centres owned by his family trust."

How much time and effort has Andrew Bolt spent on clubbing Julia banks to death on behalf of the right-wing of the Liberal Party. They can't do it themselves it seems and nobody can admit that Julia Banks when told to man up and act like them, a politician, she did and she outwitted them all. All those bleeding heart misogynists who are now crying foul. When Bernardi left the Party did we hear this bellowing no? But Banks is a woman and they are a gender that can't be trusted. However, as to the politics, she beat them all and now they are really paranoid.
Taking a note from Julia Banks Jim Molan and Craig Kelly issue threats that Andrew Bolt says nothing about. This is a sign of ascendancy, is it?
Senator Jim Molan has slammed the preselection process which saw him relegated to an unwinnable spot on the NSW Senate ticket and warned he is "not to be taken for granted" if Prime Minister Scott Morrison doesn't intervene to save his political career.
Speaking on Perth radio on Sunday, Senator Molan said he had been courted by other parties, but would stick with the Liberal Party for now.
The backbench MP has threatened to run as an independent at the next election if he is dumped and has not ruled out sitting on the crossbench next year - a move that would further weaken the Coalition's grip on power in the House of Representatives.

Firstly why does anyone think the Liberal Right is back in ascendancy? Forget Victoria wasn't Molan just dumped? Isn't Abbott being challenged? When a minority is on the attack it's called a revolt that's English when the majority a fighting back it's not a revolt it's exactly that 'fighting back'. Bolt seems unable to understand or speak the Queen's English but that's never stopped him calling that debate.
Abbott's acts of 'persuasion' have been 'white-anting' within and without the party and always directed at Turnbull and now Morrison but at the majority consensus vote or no consensus vote. At every opportunity doing it so much, nobody in the Liberal Party wants his help. He's electoral poison and the swing against him in his own electorate proves that. Caulfield, Brighton and Malvern in Victoria show the benefits the right-wing can deliver the Liberal Party correct? Sukar, Tudge, and Hunt are all now sweating and being very low key while Kroger has resigned and Bolt has avoided talking about that, why? Abbott's always been the little helper in the background.
Apparently being a regular on The Bolt Report did Kroger and the Liberals no favours. He heard his own supporters telling him to go. Maybe Bolt should put his hand up and his reputation on the line and save the Victorian Liberals at least instead barking orders from the bleachers. Has Andrew Bolt hit the wall most Saturday's he takes a break from blogging, however, he seems to be concerned someone has noticed that he doesn't work an 80 hour week and he's gone ballistic. Either that or he's hit the sauce the $200 Scotch.
What's his point other than he doesn't know the difference between a single event from which it's impossible to generalise or even prove a pattern of structured behaviours that have developed over the years that come to be deemed normal. Bolt doesn't seem to understand the difference between an individual event and a trend. Bolt's an individual but News Corp the IPA and the Neocons make him a trend. Yumi, unlike Bolt, is no focal point for generalisations of the Bolt kind.
SAVE ABORIGINAL WOMEN FROM ABORIGINAL CULTURE

Bolt praises Jacinta Price honesty about saving Aboriginal women from Aboriginal Culture but as she points out European women doing the same and Bolt certainly has his back turned. Bolt, however, wants to see Aboriginal women become more European something that disturbs Price because she knows well that she too has internalized elements of European Culture that have oppressed Indigenous peoples even more.
Then along comes Bolt who claims he's Indigenous too and a victim of oppression as well. Maybe he needs to be locked away stolen and assimilated in the name of Welfare but the question assimilated to who other than diversity and the recognitnition of systemic adversity?
