MCCRANN: IT WAS TAXES WHAT KILLED LABOR

Terry McCrann says Labor lost the election on tax, not global warming: "Take Queensland — and its 23-6 seat majority to the Coalition — out of the numbers and Labor won easily in the rest of Australia... Shorten announcing he would stop Adani — would not have lost Labor any more seats in Queensland. There just ain’t any left to lose."

Murdoch's donation Palmer and 80 million dollars worth of fake fear pedalled in Qld stopped Labour rationality and reason. Redefining language takes money a blanket of propaganda and the resources to do it.  When welfare for the rich's removal becomes a tax. When real news becomes fake news and those seeking asylum become illegals what you have is the destruction of a reasoned argument for propaganda's sake. What we have wound up with is a government that has no policies no cabinet and no direction to offer a nation other than nope you don't have Bill you've got me ScoMo an accident waiting to happen.
It's no miracle that a tsunami of fake news stopped labour, and that was no miracle! That was real $$$ and a game of liars poker. The question remains is that what the nation needs and is that Democracy lost? It certainly was manipulated.
Now Murdoch will continue to profit cleaning up the mess and selling theirs and the IPA's policies. Let's not forget when Abbott gained power; his policy plans were scripted by the IPA. Is Morrison as equally obliged? For heaven's sake, he hasn't even one policy yet other than like Abbott everything "no" that was Labour. He hasn't even a cabinet.
The best thing for the nation Murdoch can do to ensure he has more than a 3-year term is to steal the ALPs policies.

MURDOCH BIAS? WHAT ABOUT THIS ABC BIAS, BARRY?

Paul Barry, ABC host, blames the Murdoch media for Labor's loss: "News Corp’s news, meanwhile — meant to be opinion free — was often as one-sided." Barry should have said: "The ABC, meanwhile — meant to be opinion free — was often as one-sided."  What's more, News is not "meant" to be opinion free but the taxpayer-funded ABC is. By law. Yet look...

Andrew Bolt denied he had any influence in radicalising the Australian shooter in Christchurch. His denial is the equivalent of saying that Murdoch media has no impact in this country. Yet here he is defending what he denies. He occasionally turns to the fake and false cherry of the equivalence of all media. Coupled with the argument that violence exists everywhere on both extremes and is the same just violence. Simply blurring the differences as Trump attempted after Charlottesville Bolt too removes the social context history and meaning from an event to defend himself of any complicity.
Here he tries to do the opposite by declaring all news is biased; therefore, private media is biased and is legitimate. However, denying the same for public media which should then be privatised. What he fails to mention is that public media is meant to represent the diversity of opinion in Australia that's why it's public Private represents the interests of its shareholders and business model for the purpose of profit.
The ABC is there to hold all interests to account and whether or not they are justifiable which isn't biased but doing what it was designed to do is testing the diversity of opinion as dictated by its charter which it does and which Murdoch media is paid not to do. There are two different models of business only however conflicts, and that's Murdoch's whose interests aren't Australia's. Any attack by the government on the ABC is, in fact, an attack on Democracy and is in the interests of Murdoch but not in "ours".
According to Bolt, the news is " not meant to be opinion-free". This is a blatant cry of support for news as a packaged commodity, but then it's not what is regarded in everyday discourse news but a product, packaged influence propaganda to be advertised and sold like any other. If that's the case, it's promoting should be judged under those laws and regulations in place protecting us from false and fake advertising. Murdoch's tabloids are presented as news! Unless the definition of news has changed what is being sold is fake. After all, we pay for "news" but get crap in its place.  That needs to be addressed, but it won't be by ScoMo.

Did anyone else notice that person who Bolt look an idiot was central to having Tony Abbott removed in Warringah that young man Bolt promised to have back on his show and never did had Bolt's favourite booted from politics? Well done, James Mathison the invisible man who was never on the Bolt Report.
Laughing at Peter van Onselen shows Bolt's incapacity to see himself in the mirror.

2013 was an election the Liberals didn't win, and this also was an election they didn't win according to Bolt. This is the election the people of Warringah won, and Kooyong almost won. The election where the educated took time to read and analyse what was on offer. Sort fear and propaganda from information and fact. This election, unfortunately, was again one based on sloganeering negativity and manufactured fear against a reasoned policy based on rationality that the punters simply never bothered to read. This was Qld against Australia

JULIA BANKS CRASHES, MALCOLM TURNBULL GRIM

Isn't karma kute? Julia Banks  quit the Liberals after making unsubstantiated claims of bullying. She also quit her seat of Chisholm to run in Flinders against Liberal Health Minister Greg Hunt, a Turnbull foe. She lost in Flinders, and the Liberals also won back her old seat of Chisholm. No wonder Malcolm Turnbull today looked so sour.

Gloating is the character of the ugly Australian the ugly conservative and the ugly Liberal. Andrew Bolt sees himself entirely differently when looking at his reflection. His attitudes are substantiated just as his expectations of women are and there are plenty of men in the Liberal Party that have a misogynist history. Tony Abbott's is well recorded his loss on Saturday won't have him in The Pantheon of great Liberal PMs, unlike John Howard who lost his seat while PM Abbott lost his leadership to the Party and then lost it to the people of Warringah. Malcolm resigned big difference.
Julia Banks is a woman ready to make choices and test them in the real world before people. Bolt does quite the opposite and has never really tested himself in a crowd. He's never changed jobs. I've yet to see him in any real debate only preach and try to convince racists misogynists and white Christians merit their status in the social order. The trouble is when you actually investigate Bolt's achievements, there really aren't any. So the attacks on banks appear incredibly hollow.
