Has anyone noticed Bolt's current hero is Peter Ridd, a physicist who Bolt calls an expert on Marine Biology? Ridd hasn't submitted a single article of study to any Journal of Marine Biology to be reviewed.

CLIMATE SCIENTIST: DON'T BELIEVE THOSE PREDICTIONS
Dr Mototaka Nakamura is a climate scientist who worked at Japan's Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology: "The global surface mean temperature-change data no longer have any scientific value and are nothing except a propaganda tool... Since the climate models are tuned arbitrarily… there is no reason to trust their predictions/forecasts."
Andrew Bolt's hero of the day isn't new but an old sceptic whose failed predictions lead him to write a book excusing himself by clubbing and calling the whole of Climate Science a failure just as he is. Sceptics have been clinging to him ever since. Note Andrew Bolt doesn't refer to Dr Nakamura's history. It's typical Bolt. Below is an example of the attention sceptics gave Nakamura in the past in the days when Bolt was telling you the world was cooling. It seems a case of Nakamura saying if he's wrong, everyone else is too. Yet the predictions of others seem to be getting more accurate in recent years. Need one say Nakamura's book wasn't offered up in any peer-reviewed journal either. (ODT)
Japanese researcher predicts cooler climate in Northern Hemisphere from 2015
'A Japanese scientist who analyzed ocean temperatures stretching back more than five decades has predicted that the climate in the Northern Hemisphere may enter a cooling period around 2015. Mototaka Nakamura, a senior scientist at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, analyzed surface temperatures of the Greenland Sea from 1957 to the present and how they affect climate change. He said Greenland Sea temperatures could serve as a leading indicator of cooling and warming cycles in North Atlantic waters, which are believed to alternate on about 70-year cycles.
