Call for billions in stimulus with warnings of more profit downgrades

More Australian companies will announce profit downgrades due to the coronavirus, economists have warned, while calling for billions of dollars of stimulus

The call stimulus is totally ignored when asked by those on New Start, the Pension or Gender equality. That call has even currently been held back on NDIS. Meanwhile, Australian Unions are being de-stimulated as are government schools and Healthcare. It seems the only stimulus provided will be the already non-tax paying corporations that pay their executives exorbitant packages whether or not they make a profit by wage and superannuation theft and their boards protected by law.

 It's time this country stepped into the 21rst Century and had boards and associations that represent all of us as they have in Germany since WW2 and other Social Democratic countries where adversarial lobbying of governments stopped years ago and problem identification and solving became the priority.  Less of an ideological fight is required the common good and the needs of Australian people need to come first. Australian Army would follow US withdrawal from Afghanistan

 

All Australian troops could be out of Afghanistan within 14 months after the US and the Taliban signed a historic peace agreement.
Australia, along with other coalition forces, will follow the US in any troop withdrawal from the country, but there are still further negotiations to come that could derail the deal.

When your the 51rst state of America you follow never lead you obey but never order and often you're the last to be informed.  It's been the LNP style of government since WW2 sending Australia's young men into losing war zones on the behest of others.  The joke if there are any rewards to be gained commercially by these actions we tend to be last in the queue of recipients. Nevertheless, the first to dutifully purchase the hardware required to fulfil the obligations of the exercise. Wake up Australia!! Bolt the Economic Rationalist says "we" need to cost everything and everything is a cost not an investment and forget about the revenue. He believes our major corporations and investment advisers all wrong in the greening of Australia. It was noted today that our summers are now 1.5 months longer today and our winters shorter than in the past. Bolt no doubt will claim that's good not that he spends his summers here.

Let it be noted Bolt approves of sending troops overseas but never really applies what he calls his rational analysis. John Howard took us to Afghanistan 41 Australians dead 261 wounded and an unknown amount of psychological trauma at a cost of Billions did Howard and Bolt cost that first and do they conclude it as a sound investment It seems Bolt does as long as he's at arm's length.  Doesn't anybody find it strange that Bolt keeps saying that the ALP doesn't know the cost of zero-nett emissions by 2050 but Andrew Bolt it seems does. If he does as he claims why isn't he pitching in and helping in any clear and positive way as Australians did in the bushfires. They were of all political persuasions fighting shoulder to shoulder not asking about the cost of their efforts but knowing the costs if they did nothing. There's Bolt ready to bag out any progress from a distance not offering anything of substance. The drought that wasn't a drought the floods that weren't floods and global warming that's not really warming are all the same to Bolt nothing to be done or seen.

We've seen what invoking religion does in Multicultural Democracies it gives rise to bigotry and hate and it's going on in India as we speak. But to see it raised in the Australian Parliament by a Jew well it goes to show just how divisive this LNP government is. How disinterested they are in pursuing anything that might improve the common good for all Australians as opposed to just the good of some. Keneally hit the nail on the head Religion has no place in the Parliamentary Chamber or an Australian's mindset.

CORONAVIRUS: WHY BAN CHINA BUT NOT ITALY?

COLUMN We had no trouble banning travel from China, coronavirus central, or from Iran. But  banning travel from a popular European country like Italy? No country has done that, so tourists from Italy have kept flying, bringing the virus to at least 27 countries on five continents. That's one of the lessons we must learn for when a deadlier virus comes. 

Here's Andrew Bolt the isolationist. He is turning a global disease into simply a geographic and political problem. Remember Ebola that was soley an African Problem to Bolt not an Australian one. He simply called to "shut the gates don't for god sake do anything". Remember when WW2 occurred  that wasn't universal but he would have yelled" send troops to fight the Hun maybe?" He certainly wants to promote us for that effort in history.  But not any war on health or climate?

 Bolt's calling for the country Australia to become Nth Korea to shut the Gate another old fashion Paraguay as it once was or what Hungary is becoming fast today. Global illness and climate aren't to Bolt universal issues they are purely geographical and political. 

The rest of the world his neighbours really don't exist other than as a convenience or inconvenience to him. They are or aren't opportunities for Bolt's advancement on any other day. Andrew Bolt really wouldn't piss on his neighbour if he was on fire unless the fire threatened his house. What does Bolt do he loses money for Murdoch.
