It's called political philosophy and the idea of the Liberal Broad Church a Democratic Australia. It is a multicultural and diverse united nation. It's opposite is something that people like Bolt and Abbott the far right don't understand. Note slides over the fact that Turnbull had no financial interest in the action. So any declaration wasn't essential.

 However, they, on the other hand, were the party plotters. The secret 7 or 12 that meet for lunch in the Monkeypod room the cabal doing the real plotting. They are the ones that wanted Australia to be a non-Liberal monoculture run by Corporate State policies set and directed by their donors in the IPA. News Corp was and still is their voice and the IPA still is boiler room of their ideas but they deny that and still call themselves liberal. 

Their major obstacle has always been the ABC and they have plotted to rid the country of any voice that might reveal their true agenda and their intent. The ABC simply does that by authentic journalism. The true Liberal Party boasts of being the opposite and Malcolm Turnbull while a politician first was a true Liberal who believed in that diversity of ideas as much as he believed in a Republic.

What we have here is the ultra partisan right barking at their own shadow accusing others of doing what they have been doing most of this century plotting.
