Andrews threatens border closures over Kiwi arrivals

Forced yet again by Morrison's lack of leadership and mismanagement Dan Andrews has been put in the unenviable position of having to clean up Morrison's shit again. Firstly it was private aged care facilities under Federal jurisdiction and now sending NZers to Victoria despite our COVID-19 lock-down.

Morrison is so Trump like placing his politics before any focused and supportive effort in  problem solving for Australia or particularly Victoria. He's a science denier who get his inspiration and political strategies  from God and his one and only favorite son Lachlan.  But then he has two Victorian Quislings Frydenberg and Hunt to help him.

Meanwhile the UK and EU are taking Victoria's actions as the model by which to go by in handling the 2nd wave by which they have been struck. Trump is touting "herd immunity" as to cover his failures and it seems Morrison has sided with him. Dan has every right to be pissed off

Unexpected trans-Tasman arrivals spark border ware between Melbourne and Canberra as Andrews seeks extension of international flight ban.

In for a penny, in for a pound: $90 billion for an obsolete submarine fleet

What could the $40 billion over spend have done for the hardest hit Australians?

So much for sovereignty. Australia is locked out of repairing key US components of our submarines’ computer systems, and the government has committed our fleet to the extraordinarily dangerous role of helping the US conduct surveillance in the South China Sea. Brian Toohey reports.
