 What is under investigation is whether public money $25m was taken from where it should have been allocated and reallocated as a favour to a politician. If that happened it is a disgrace. We have seen too much of this going on, and needs to be exposed for what it is.

 Once the facts were collected they would have been placed before independent persons of the highest integrity. Irrespective of how difficult it would have been to make, the decision would have been taken free of any political considerations.

It stands to ICAC’s credit that it took that difficult decision.

Many have asked whether it was necessary for Berejiklian to resign as premier. My feeling was that her decision was premature – she could have stood aside while the inquiry was conducted.

There are precedents for that. What I am unable to understand is why Berejiklian is being so quick to resign from the parliament.

We don't even mfg or even have a any sovereign connection with our own. Yet these LNP morons are making out they are in the process of having shirt fronted China. If Australia is to be really "safe" as Morrison claims, we need to shirtfront him and the LNP out of office.

This is beyond coincidence. Once again the Sydney Morning Herald chooses a darkly lit picture that makes the very white "Aboriginal" historian Bruce Pascoe look more Aboriginal. Compare with how I'm pictured. It's almost as if they're too scared to show readers what Pascoe really is. Can you trust a newspaper which manipulates reality like this?

How often have we heard that there is "no such thing as Race " from Andrew Bolt? That it was merely a political construct that gave justification for slavery. What about his bullying rant" I'm not a Racist if you call me one you are"? Well, he seems to be declaring himself one here and now with his insistent smearing of Bruce Pascoe for not just rewriting white history but damning our Inglorious Colonial past as a denied Invasion of occupied land.

 Why is Bolt's primary criticism not what Pascoe has written in Dark Emu but his skin and non-Aboriginality? It's because Pascoe agrees with Bolt that records do show he's a white man and European without Indigenous ancestry.  It's that Bruce Pascoe isn't an Aboriginal admits it but is looking further to see and that appears to be a crime in Bolt's eyes. Pascoe's own inquiry prevents Bolt being dragged back into court again and he's taking full advantage of that.

However, why can't he be sued for defamation? After all, Bolt's current, use of a fake letter by a Yolngu elder who declared Bolt has smeared him might well qualify. As he's not a Yolngu tribal elder and he never wrote what Bolt has attributed to him. It takes money to sue for defamation and News Corp has that power in spades.

Bolt though really is fucking his own reputation but then it's so maggot-like he doesn't seem to care. Showing he is everything Judge Mordecai Bromberg said of him when he convicted Bolt of Racial Vilification under the RDA Act way back when it stuck.

Bolt was a great help in the Minister's decision to have Bolt's current ally Jennifer Cashman sacked for her involvement in his personal vendetta against Pascoe. He should have been sacked by News Corp and Sky News when he attacked Australian of the Year Adam Goodes only to make an utter fool of himself.

Everything about Bolt is short term Government debt compared with private debt is miniscule yet to him alarming. Alarm is the history of ultra-conservative politics it's short term intended to create panic  and divide for political advantage. It's the tool of right wing politicians and their spruikers it's repetitious  and not intended to be informing so experts aren't required and Bolt is certainly not one.  Has the time come to criminalise tax avoidance?

 

P.S According to Tim Blair and  Andrew Bolt the wealthy should not be honest about what they spend. The Left have always said that that was the case they aren't honest. If they the ATO did do a life style audit on them they'd be hard pressed explaining where things came from. Now about braggarts how is it Tim Blair doesn't make a habit of pointing to Bolt when he brags about his luxury buys? Abbott certainly hid his daughter's $60,000K was he acting better than Turnbull. Hiding a disease because it just might hurt some operators now is head in the sand stuff for any long term protection.

With technology in renewable energy advancing at a rapid rate and false costing of the real costs of fossil fuels coming clearer investors are dumping their fossil fuel stocks at a rate that's sending dirty energy bankrupt. Bolt like the the supporters of tobacco are still spruiking the wonderful opportunities to be found in investing in the death of the planet. Ask Bolt how much he has invested in dirty energy and his lips are shut he simply wants to invest your money. The man calls Climate Science a Religion.

On one hand he decries the government investment in Subs for jobs but screams the necessity of support for coal why for jobs. He denies the the rapidly growing sunrise industry creating jobs and also denies any benefit in retaining knowledge and skills in Australia in the building of subs. He's also the man who supports and supported the closing down of climate science in this country and the building of a third rate 21st Century communications system because it was only a home entertainment system to him. Of course the planet is unmoved it's moved on.

He says nothing when it's politicians and religious leaders call for the extermination of rats. Bolt  remains silent on Israel's intended manufacture of Palestinian refugees for Europe. He remains silent on the deaths of children or the blatant murder even when captured on video. Bolt remains silent in the face of these realities. Why to appease himself of his ancestral heritage? The British created Israel why they didn't want the Jews in Britain. As for Johnson he's Britain's DonaldTrump anything for publicity and Murdoch will give it to him..

I began a reply to what I thought as to be  a Bolt persuasion but found it was an ad only at the very end. It proves a point.

Fi Fi Fo Fum what is more important civilized society or one like America run on propaganda that's protected by their constitution. Is it any wonder Donald Trump is streaks ahead  and seemingly out of control of the Republican Party that gave him life. That's what Bolt sees as necessary and a priority here. Just how many times has Abbott said "I've learned from my mistakes" mea culpa mea culpa and it sounded hollow less than contrite.
