Former prime minister Tony Abbott says the Howard government was better than the current government.

Abbott laments lack of substantive figures in public life compared to Howard era

Andrew Bolt's hey day was with a PM who knows he wasn't the best for this country and neither were the senior ministers in his cabinet. It goes to show just how self occupied Bolt is. He really doesn't know he was just a toy in the hands of much politically smarter persons.

Scott Morrison — a bad marketing campaign’s version of a leader

Given the disaster that is aged care in Australia — the ongoing misery so many senior Australians endure in substandard care in an industry chronically underfunded and under-resourced — surely we would get a break from the prime minister’s incessant focus on spin and presentation and get some substance?

The very fact Morrison says rape, sexual molestation of women is Australian Culture, workplace culture something he can't change, only about talk about makes him the nation's current day leading enabler. No matter how much he feigns sorrow maintains it's a police matter or supports any male simply because they say "I didn't do it" he's maintaining a culture that should be cancelled. One that continues to blame women.

Morrison listened to Jen didn't he but neither of them put their mind to change anything. Porter needs to do more than just say "I didn't do it". He needs to step aside and let an independent investigation take charge. Then we just might be able to say we have leaders.

Now or never: Australia must develop its own foreign policy

Hanging on America's coattails now Trump has gone Morrison is considering alternatives???

Australia’s historical reluctance to have its own foreign policy is becoming increasingly untenable, writes Dr Alison Broinowski.

Glib response to Aged Care Royal Commission portends another failed roadmap

Attempts to stage-manage the Aged Care Royal Commission report by Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Health Minister Greg Hunt underline the government’s failure to address the problems in aged care. It’s “market” based approach is the problem, not the solution, report Dr Sarah Russell and Elizabeth Minter.
