When will a woman simply be a fellow human being who happens to be female?

History tells us it takes generations for identity to change Reynolds and Higgins nose to nose indicates just that. Caro and Higgins are just a step on the way. When will and Indigenous Australian simply be a fellow human being etc etc. When will our social systems allow the equality for individuals to meet yet be diverse? When will Social Democracy really exist?

 

For centuries we have upheld the hoary myth that women lie about rape. This is why it matters so much that Linda Reynolds shamefully called Brittany Higgins a “lying cow” in earshot of a group of people in her office.

The Defence Minster said she was not referring to her former staffer’s rape allegation but other statements Higgins made regarding the poor response from her superiors. It matters because when you call a person a liar, you undermine their credibility on all matters. And because for too long women have been falsely accused of fabricating charges of sexual assault.

NO, IT’S NOT A PROBLEM TO HAVE MORE MALE VOTERS THAN FEMALE

Greg Sheridan assumes it's a failure to be more appealing to men: "Women around the developed world are trending left in their politics and ideology... One needs to assume what Bolt is saying is true as he offers no data or facts here. Is the Right in the US garnering more votes from men? I don't think so. For a start Republicans moderates and conservatives are deserting the GOP faster than ever seen in history. Only 55% of those polled at CPAC, the heart of conservative politics,  said they'd vote for Trump in 2024 or want him as the spearhead of the party. Trump however would tell you otherwis that he has 100% support because anybody who doesn't vote for him isn't a member of the shrinking party. 

Those who jumped ship, and there are millions voted either independently or as Democrats for Biden. There were 7 million more than voted for Trump, the most in recorded history. They weren't just women either. The increase wasn't based on gender alone but a generational and demographic change of thinking that demanded cultural change and it was visible in the traditionally conservative states like Georgia and Arizona. 

So then it was the Woke vs the Unconscious dead like Andrew Bolt, the bipartisan vs the partisan, the secular vs the sectarians that won. It was those "for cultural change" vs those against that won. Bolt's a duck trying to stamp out bush fires but whose trying to save the burning ducks like Bolt? It's not more and more men unless ofcourse you call the aging population all male. Even then women have a greater life expectancy than men so he'd be wrong on all counts.

LAW FIRM BOSS TRASHES CLIENT. FORGET RULE OF LAW FOR CHRISTIAN PORTER

The boss of law firm MinterEllison apparently doesn't believe in "innocent until proven guilty". And doesn't believe in defending anyone accused of crimes of which she disapproves: "The head of the law firm representing Christian Porter... emailed staff criticising the decision to take on the Attorney-General and apologising for any 'pain' caused." Bolt believes in the freedom of choice for News Corp in a free and a private market. Unfortunately ours is not so free or balanced. But not so Law firms it seems. According to Bolt lawyers shouldn't have to elect who they represent. It seems that privilege is media exclusive. 

He claims he has freedom of choice at News Corp to write and do whatever he wants. No he doesn't he's guided by the firms bevy of legal experts and insurance companies all who deserted him when push came to shove and he was found guilty of Racial Discrimination. They rejected support of  any appeal of Judge Mordecai Blomberg's decision. They like Minter Ellison didn't "trash" their then client Andrew Bolt. They and News Corp simply chose not to act for him. Bolt went into a dummy spit, a big sulk and threatened to quit. He didn't because he realized nobody gave a shit.

Generational change is happening and its been accelerated by social media. It's not radical but it's loud and it's facing resistance which is also so much more visible. It's happening in India, the US, Australia and the old guard the walking dead are calling it Woke, Cancel Culture, when it's just people demanding change in a no longer functional system. 

Bolt doesn't mention that the boss at Minter Ellison is a woman. If the CEO of News Corp was a First Nation's person where and what would Bolt be doing in this current "free market of ideas"?
