Fighting Fake News with REAL 9/3/22; The Shot, Wokeness, Van Badham; Frydenberg

Morrison and Putin are Media Pornographers cut from the same cloth.

Andrew Bolt actually posted today on his blog that Wokeness just might win the culture war being fought against the bigger conservative Russian army. What he’s unable to say however, is that Putin, in who he actually believes, is on his side of righteousness in the current situation.

Putin like Bolt is anti- LGBTQIs, anti-multiculturalism, anti- critical theory, anti-feminist , a racist, a religious discriminator, anti- Climate Change, and an ultra-white orthodox Christian Nationalist, a Trumpster who admires pay for comment Fox News and hates real journalists. Bolt is totally anti-Woke, and therefore so pro-Putin. In fact the LNP all are and dream of the day when they too had Putin's control over this country.

Wokeness is just the newest boogie man hiding under the bed of every conservative commentator. But like all boogie men, if you shine a light on them, you quickly find out there’s nothing there. All you’re left with is a frightened child with an overactive imagination who’s too scared to go to sleep.

Delving into the dark corners of internet conspiracy cults

I’ve made this point on The Week on Wednesday numerous times - people seem to still believe there is a vast civil service out there that government employs to solve problems in a crisis - there isn’t. The Liberals have spent years gutting it.
The cuts to the public service the Liberals make with such zeal are cuts to public services. Outsourcing to private enterprise means noone turns up unless there’s an opportunity to make a profit.
When the Liberals talk about “cutting …

When announcing the industry levy, ASIC said it was to ‘recover the regulatory costs of the ASIC through annual levies and fees-for-service’.

Last financial year, ASIC collected $314.5m via the industry levy — almost three-quarters of its $437m total operating cost.

The Federal Government’s record-breaking $1.078bn profit from ASIC came in the same year that ASIC’s two Federal Coalition-appointed executives were forced to resign in a major expenses scandal.

Both ASIC chair James Shipton – a former senior executive with notorious global investment bank Goldman Sachs – and Daniel Crennan QC, a Melbourne barrister, were illegally paid almost $200,000 more than they were entitled to.

Treasurer Frydenberg announced a “review” into the scandal, but, as previously revealed, he released a doctored version of the subsequent report, from which three-quarters of its key findings had been secretly deleted.

Despite the severity of the situation – a cover-up of corruption at the top of the corporate regulator involving the nation’s Treasurer – not one other media outlet has reported the scandal to date.
