News Corporation employs Right-Wing Broadcasters providing them with a platform ensuring the inequality of speech. Their Social Media Platforms not only advocate conservative, and extreme right-wing wing views. They monitor out most opposing opinions which they are entitled to do. However, they also simply lie when they say they provide an arena for fair and balanced discussion in a no-spin zone. They don't it's all spin.
Australian conservatives claim that “woke” students and left-wing
lecturers pose a threat to free speech on university campuses. But the
real “cancel culture” is coming from the Right.
75% of Covid related deaths have occurred in Morrison's Aged Care Homes and still two thirds of the staff aren't vaccinated. While Morrison tells Australians to "count yourselves lucky"under his leadership.
Vaccinations
for aged care staff lag well behind the initial schedule promised by
Aged Care Minister Greg Hunt in February, new federal figures show.
The stench of fraud has followed Trump like a passenger by his side all his life. He used his wealth and the threat of law to keep his history a secret.
Their "fraud" cost the agency $130,000, according to the OIG report. No charges were filed.
Young people should be encouraged to develop a critical understanding of
the continuing role of racism in Australian society. This doesn’t mean
indoctrination in some particular body of theory. Rather, it requires a
willingness to confront uncomfortable facts about our society and think
about how we can do better in future.
Barmy himself may well say “I’m no Albert Weinstein“, confusing the
iconic genius with the Hollywood sexual predator and zimmer frame test
pilot, thereby both proving the point and rekindling memories of his
past proclivities. He’s declared that after three years in back-bench
penury he’s a changed man who does not intend to rejoin his fellow Pepé
Le Pew Club members Porter, Tudge and Lamming trawling Canberra’s
nightspots looking for knee tremblers behind the coat racks. His new
crusade is to fuck the country not his staff.
What's really freaky if Ba is back what are the odds of Abbott returning?
Morrison is selling a false excuse, that a single vaccination offers serious protection against the virus. It doesn't! It's bullshit! 1 dose might provide 30% protection however 2 doses provide over 90% and Australia is only 3% fully vaccinated.
Morrison's promises are as if he's on heat and is the equivalent of promising " If it hurts I'll take it out" and expecting to be believed. Couple this with his failure ot even wear a condom or fix our quarantine system that's failed us 25 times.
Making slightly off jokes about a person’s appearance and background
is exactly what the late Prince Philip would have wanted, aides have
confirmed.
“He always had that way of making you feel just a little bit
awkward,” said a friend, noting the Prince had officially died yesterday
but looked as if he had died over a decade ago.
Many
of the nation’s GPs are refusing to offer AstraZeneca’s vaccine to
people under 50 until the federal government clarifies legal liability
if patients suffer serious or fatal side effects.
Waleed
Aly's refusal to apologise for an interview with former AFL Collingwood
player Héritier Lumumba is pivotal in preserving freedom of the press.
The questioning of Harry and even the questioning of Waleed is legitimate journalism. Not questioning Harry or Waleed is a form of biased acceptance one generally finds on Sky News After Dark. Waleed might have to say sorry if it had been Harry who asked but no others because " Despite pressure from the public and the actions of Aly's colleague
and his employer, Aly has refused to say sorry. This is pivotal in
preserving the foundations of journalism because de-platforming Aly or
forcing him to apologise would set a dangerous precedent."
he was hoping for a Biden victory in the 2020 presidential election and
warned that then-President Donald Trump would become even more dangerous
if he won a second term. Chomsky, now 92, got his wish: Biden won, and
Chomsky discussed some of the challenges of the Biden era during a March 15 interview with Alternative Radio's David Barsamian.
Labor
has challenged Prime Minister Scott Morrison to act more swiftly on
public anger about the treatment of women after thousands rallied across
the country.
“Not far from here, such marches, even now, are being met with
bullets, but not here in this country. Not here in this country. This is
a triumph of democracy when we see these things take place,” he said.
Mr
Albanese said Mr Morrison had “not so much a tin ear as a wall of
concrete” in failing to act on calls for change, noting the government
was yet to respond to all the findings of the Respect@Work report on workplace sexual harassment, which was handed down one year ago.
If actions speak louder than words Morrison's have been less than a whisper. The Dummer Dumb coalition are running this country and in case of March 4 Justice are merely stating the obvious as a distraction. "We aren't yet Myanmar". However in that there is an implied threat coupled with a self congratulatory slap on the back that if it weren't for Scotty bullets bullets might reign. Yes, a rather undeserved self-congratulatory remark. Protests in a Democracy serve a functional, means in a working Democratic system of telling the government of the day they are dysfunctional and doing a shit of a job. That's something Morrison can no longer really deny.
Is Morrison really trying to be Trump? When Trump said he was the law and order President it was an implied threat. Remember he also said 350,000 Covid-19 deaths were a good outcome given 2 million would have died if it weren't for him. Morrison has said and done much the same praising the demonstration with his irrational response "We aren't Myanmar yet". What we have is almost an implied threat "we aren't yet seeing bullets fired". Claiming the protest had nothing yet something to do with him is yes, Dummer. But claiming to be too busy doing real work was misogyny amplified.
So what we have is a PM and a leadership's total failure to communicate. M&Ms lead us and Morrison has identified himself as being Dummer than Dumb of the two.
ABC managing director David Anderson has launched a strong defence of
the independence of the public broadcaster from government intervention,
amid a deepening rift with the federal government over its political
coverage.
“Essential to the perception of the ABC’s independence and impartiality
is the reality that we are independent and detached from government
direction,” Mr Anderson said in the speech.
It's become patently obvious that this government wants to rid us of the ABC and is attempting to use Christian Porter in a quid quo pro arrangement to silence the ABC before the next election while allowing Murdoch media to run Porter's media defense and the LNP political election campaign at the same time. Yet again what we will see politics dominating policy news and information for power in exchange for filthy lucre.
It
came as the World Health Organisation appealed to countries not to
suspend vaccinations against a disease that has caused more than 2.7
million deaths worldwide.
Germany, France and Italy said they would stop administering the
AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine after several countries reported possible
serious side-effects, throwing Europe’s already struggling vaccination
campaign into disarray.
Spain’s health minister also announced a 2-week ban on using AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine.
Our PM said "I don't care what other nations do. I trust our TGA". What Morrison failed to say the TGA too listens to the advice of others. Morrison is simply "passing the buck" on this too. If he's wrong he's gone.
Former
Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says every opposition
leader "has struggled" over the past 12 months because the public "are
willing" the premiers and the prime minister to succeed.
"There's no point any voter hoping their state government fails," Mr
Kroger told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
"They're all willing the state governments to succeed".
"They're willing them to succeed and that's why they're doing well in
the polls".
In a strident attempt to prove his misogyny it would appear Bolt preferred to ignore the March 4 Justice that was broadcast worldwide today. He found time to try to excuse the Liberal's trashing in WA and their falling behind all down to Covid.Yet the March 4 Justice wasn't anything to do with the pandemic. It was all to do with the Liberal's failure to do anything.
It proved the public were "demanding the dysfunctional LNP to be willing" to succeed. It's 52% to 48% drop in the polls and thousands upon thousands of women of both political persuasions turning up in protest were there to let the Morrison coalition know they are do-nothing fuckwits.
Spiked
Online Editor Brendan O’Neill says British people “don’t appreciate”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle going around and “badmouthing” their
country and the Royal Family.
“A recent poll actually found that Harry and Meghan’s approval rating
has plummeted to its lowest level ever since the interview with Oprah
Winfrey,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“British people just don’t appreciate someone going around badmouthing
this country, badmouthing the press, badmouthing the Royal Family”.
“They far prefer someone like Kate – the Duchess of Cambridge – who
strikes us as a bit more stiff upper lip, more interested in public duty
rather than self-promotion.”
Seriously does Bolt have O'Neill on every week? If so why not just give the conservative editor his seat? After all he says more than Bolt does. Bolt's merely an abstract. A verbal lead in for his guests.
Harry and Meghan weren't ever in this for "ratings". Bolt and O'Neill are. Meghan and Harry were in it for "truth". Harry if anything was in it for his long service and superannuation package which he's certainly due for his length of service. It goes to show corporate wage theft is being defended by Bolt and O'Neill. However not if it happened to them they'd both be turning to the media for assistance. Harry and Meghans ratings by the way are solid in the US and most Commonwealth countries.
