Coming from News Corp a commentator writing for the least trusted media corporation in the country and working along side the government is beyond  a joke. Bolt who claims to be and Agnostic Humanist reveals  himself for what he really isn't a sceptic or critical thinker who believes in moral relativism and the agency of mankind. Simply put he's quite the reverse a hypocrite who believes  news  ought be little more than  Hansard like or a stenographer's report on government activity. The very opposite of the qualities he claims to favor and support.

Any responsible critical thought which is  the nature of investigation  and reporting of an  independent media from government Bolt calls  propaganda which is in fact the opposite. What Bolt calls responsible reporting for Bolt is not independant at all but simply a tool of government. That is propaganda. Questioning is the basis of being rational agnostic and humanist everything Bolt is not.

Bolt's commentary does not emerge from gathered information and facts but rather manufactured information and facts  designed or created to make  commentary convincing. That's propaganda.

To quote Tony Abbott he said if you want good media you need to provide good government if you don't provide good government don't expect good media.

 Bolt also claims to be a rationalist yet eschews scientific method as a source of knowledge claiming it to be little more than another religious faith when it comes to climate change. He also argues for moral absolutes and opposes relativism. It explains  why he is so anti- multiculturalism and pro assimilation. Yet he claims to be a humanist who generally prefer critical thinking  which he rails against  associating it with leftist dogma. Humanists values the agency of human beings both individually and collectively over established doctrines or faiths where as argues the reverse.

He is rather an evolutionist stuck in a 19th century belief that our social fabric is like organisms inherently improving itself through inherited and progressive change over time the belief that by and large with social engineering and policing we are evolving for the better both socially and culturally. That a natural order has evolved and does exist. Bolt clearly knows what's wrong and what's right and the Pope of 2.2 billion Catholics is wrong and Tony Abbott is right. There are 9 Catholics in Cabinet. How many parishes are there in Australia?

A number less than Australia has promised. But then again Bolt is panicking about that number which Australia has promised.

Bolt is the persistent scare monger it's why he has armed guards and disregards the following:

Syrian Kurds are stateless also but are denied citizenship in Syria and are unable to become citizens of Turkey or Iraq. They are by no means religious fundamentalists and have no sectarian motivations. They are fighting against ISIS for themselves and us. They are allies and fight in Australia's interests yet Andrew Bolt turns his back on Kurds because they are Muslim.   Of course he has an excuse  that they aren't  registered as or official refugees. They can't be because officially they are stateless and without passports despite being Syrian in the case of the Kurdi family. The crap Bolt writes about wanting a dentist is simply a distortion and shows  he doesn't offer truth but a smokescreen.

Bolt's notion of the "invasion" of EU is a fabrication what is a logistical processing problem he calls an invasion. Running out of moral reasons to stop humanitarian aid Bolt simply turns to a numbers game and  like bent cop selects countries for the sole purpose of making Australia and Abbott look generous. He could say Panama or Jamaica aren't taking refugees so aren't we great. The issue isn't about who is or isn't doing anything in this crisis it's what's needed to be done and why. Bolt always believes in going Dutch or just look after yourself. He is the man not to turn to in an  emergency. However if it's his he'd demand help. What Bolt  fails to tell you the Kurdi's were a stateless family and had no papers. They were second class people in Turkey they watched  along with the rest of the world their town of Kobani destroyed some 6 months ago. They had nothing to their name but relatives in Canada

Bolt won't tell you that. Without passports they couldn't be officially registered as refugees you need papers to be recognised. It was the only thing keeping them from being accepted to Canada. They were paperless Kurds without a country much like the Jews who however did have passports. Bolt goes out of his way to support the Jews but with equivalent energy denies the Syrian Kurds and calls them "illegals"

Tony Abbott has had a moral melt down for the sake of Canning he's offered a faux increase in humanitarian aid. When in fact those arriving here have in the main been declared genuine. Something you wont hear from Bolt. According to Bolt Aylan's family were not running to safety but  to relatives and a better economic life in Canada. His proof they were not registered refugees. The  moral crime here wasn't the honesty shown by Aylan's grieving father but the lack of compassion by Andrew Bolt. Aylan's family didn't explore all options.

But here's the rub Bolt uses this example to disparage the Australian intake of Lebanese, Afghani, Sudanese basically the intake of Muslims who according to Bolt, using this as an example To halt all intake. He takes minor migrant  criminality found in Australia to suggest his "significant minority" for whatever that means is in fact statistically significant.  " True, most Muslim immigrants make fine Australians. But a significant minority do not assimilate well or safely. Bolt's "significant minority" which turns out to  be in fact statistically insignificant when examined rationally. 

 

Bolt is simply scaremongering for implementing racist policies of the PDL, Reclaim Australia etc. If most are genuine why tar them all with one brush? Most crimes in this country are migrant related given 50% of us have a migrant connection.
