Andrew Bolt's Blog, 28/11/15; Nothing new from Bolt on Climate; Thank you Gillian Triggs; Chris Kenny sees Libs as divided but then he said Nauru was a resort ; Bolt wants Gaza in Syria; Nobody mentions Israel's involvement;

Maybe because it was used in association with Islam by Abbott who eventually began calling them Daesh. A name they didn't like. It took some time for Abbott to change if I recall. Bolt hasn't.
What's interesting however is Bolt's attack on real journalists as usual go unnamed. Who is going to bother researching what Bolt says given he is the outlander of media not the other journalists. We simply need to assume it's propagandizing for Abbott who could also stand mute in front of cameras for over a minute and becoming the laughing stock of the world for doing it.
"This debate has become near impossible here because so many Turnbull
supporters - in Parliament and in the media - insist on seeing it purely
in terms of an Abbott-Turnbull conflict."
So rather than Abbott-Turnbull conflict of which there is none other than the one Andrew Bolt pursues and invents. Bolt turns to the less than objective Gerard Henderson who spends his energy on an imagined interview with Tony Abbott rather than a real one. Do we need to imagine Henderson dressed as Sales conducting and interview. Imagine him conducting it with Malcolm oh no thankyou.
"Oh. So is MacLeod saying it was wrong to send troops to fight Hitler? Tojo’s Japan?" No Andrew Bolt MacLeod is saying nothing of the sort. However Israel has occupied Syria's Golan heights and intends to stay there.
Bolt Never mentions the
fact that Israel prefers a state of anarchy to s Secular Arab Nation
with a fully equipped military backed by the Russians. By far Israels
preference has been the conflicting rebel forces. Don't ask me Shari
Markson has been busted in Israel for interviewing them and has got
herself in hot water. Bolt wouldn't tell you that. Israel and the US
have been fighting a proxy war against Assad for some time and closing a
blind eye to others assisting them.
As I've always said Bolt continues to use refuted figures to repeat ad nauseum the fact that there has been no warming for 18 years. Which NOAA confirmed was wrong yet again this year. That research was wrong and declared wrong quite some time ago. Bolt never mentions the peer reviews of that data nor the number of times it has been refuted. However what connection has the El Ninos with the prediction that this year is on track to be the hottest on record?
"Another bad sign and one that may distress Malcolm Turnbull’s Treasurer, who as Immigration Minister was badly verballed by Triggs. Nor can the Attorney General be too chuffed, after understandably declaring he’d lost confidence in Triggs:"Bolt
Another set of meaningless words saying I wish Abbott was still here. Bolt sounds more like comedian Lou Costello calling for Bud Abbott. We certainly know that you'll continue to huff and puff to try to blow the Liberal Party down. But not because Turnbull had tea with an extrmely admired Australian.
What is a welcoming sign is there is a softening attitude to how we treat the children kept in misery. That goes a hell of a lot further than Chris Kennys ad for Nauru describing it as a Pacific Holiday resort.
How about we talk about how we resettled 4 refugees in Cambodia for $55million and after a week or two one fleeing home to the danger he fled. Or the total cost the total cost of our illegal behavior and it's consequent injury and deaths caused to asylum seekers yet to be processed. Or the processing system that's stalled. Australia is gratefull for Gillian Triggs.
Chris
Kenny the man who turned Nauru into a holiday resort for Asylum seekers
like all the News Corp Crew is trying to make out the Libs are a
divided Party. He's arguing Turnbull has cut a path for himself that with the help
of Albanese win? No will allow Abbott to gather the strength to blindside Malcolm again. Does Kenny sense the public dissatisfaction with Turnbull as
he sensed the appreciation Asylum seekers had with their island resort
by the sea Nauru? He was quickly put down by his media brothers then and treated as a
running joke. He repeats himself here. Does he think for a minute the Libs will change leaders again?
Since the 1980's the US and Israel had ambitions to get rid of Arab - Secular Nationalism Saddam/Qaddafi/Assad. Carpe Chaos "seize the Chaos" has been a major part of Israeli foreign policy. Israel first- Neocon Adviser to Bush and Cheney David Wurmser promoted that " Arab nationalism in general was unsuitable for the Arab people, given
their particularist and tribal tendencies. Therefore, its adoption can
only condemn Arab countries to forever “fluctuate between repression and
anarchy.” Truth Israel didn't want states with strong secular armies as it's neighbors.
They actually believed they had a better chance of controlling the fundamentalist and tribal chaos.Yet, even then, the best laid plans of the neocons and Likudniks still completely failed to pan out.
The anticipated “Jordanian-Israeli-Iraqi-Turkish bloc,” didn't eventuate but
what they perceive as an anti-Israel “Shia crescent” including Iran,
Iraq, Syria, and (most importantly) Hezbollah in Lebanon. Far from being
isolated, Syria seemed to have more friends than ever. Oops.
So for the sake of Israel, and since at least 2007, Washington,
along with its regional allies, has been waging a broad covert proxy war
to undermine the “Shia crescent.” It has involved supporting Sunni Islamist mujahideen in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.since at least 2012 by heavily sponsoring an insurgency led by jihadists including Al Qaeda and ISIS .Israel has also been contributing to the cause of chaos more directly. Like a prizefighter’s “cutman,” the Israeli military has stood in Al Qaeda’s corner, taking in its wounded terrorist “rebels,” patching them up, and then sending them back into Syria to resume fighting. News Corps Shari Markson has just got into trouble for speaking to them a secret Israel prefered to keep.
In Syria too, the neocons and Israel have
finally seen their longed for chaotic collapse, to the tune of a quarter
of a million Syrian deaths and millions more displaced (many fleeing to Europe or drowning en route). As discussed above, Israel has seized on the chaos
it has unleashed on its northern neighbor as an excuse for expanding
settlements in the Golan Heights. Moreover, whenever that chaos even slightly spills over
into Golan, Israel has been seizing that as a pretext for still more
war.Syrian soldiers are desperately battling Al Qaeda just north of Golan. Whenever
a shell strays into the Heights (almost always exploding harmlessly in
some unoccupied field), Israel responds by bombing Syrian military
positions, thus effectively serving as Al Qaeda’s air force as well as
its combat medic.
In 2013, at the end of his tenure as Israeli ambassador to the US, Michael Oren delivered this parting message through The Jerusalem Post:
“‘The initial message about the Syrian issue
was that we always wanted [President] Bashar Assad to go, we always
preferred the bad guys who weren’t backed by Iran to the bad guys who
were backed by Iran,’ he said.""even if the other ‘bad guys’ were affiliated to al-Qaida."“From Israel’s perspective, if there’s got to be an evil that’s got to prevail, let the Sunni evil prevail.” Oren is here specifically referring to ISIS.
“America’s greatest friend in the Middle East.”
"Israel would have preferred to have the Levant ruled by
stable sock puppets of the West. But failing that, it would much rather
be surrounded by an extremist-stricken Muslim maelstrom of mutual
massacres than to have in its neighborhood even a single secular-Arab
nationalist state with an independent rational leadership, a steady tax
base, and a disciplined military."
And as a recently-released government intelligence document revealed, it has done so knowing full well that it would likely result in the Levant being overrun by America-hating Islamic terrorists.
The West has indeed adopted the neocon/Israeli strategy,
precipitating the “chaotic collapse” of secular-Arab nationalism in
Iraq, Libya, and Syria. But the chaos has not been “contained and managed” as Wurmser anticipated. Neither has it cleared the way for “a more healthy future” as he promised.
Instead it has created exactly what Wurmser said it would
prevent: a “chaotic sea” immersing the entire Middle East and “painfully
intrud[ing] on the West.” That chaotic sea is even lapping up onto the shores of Europe in the form of the refugee crisis.
And now that Russia has been drawn into the
Syrian war, where its bombers and troops operate at cross purposes with
American bombers and proxy fighters, the chaotic sea threatens to become
a thermonuclear lake of fire engulfing the whole world."Carpe Chaos" - ISIS, Israel, Iraq, & Syria: It's All Part Of The ...
What Bolt calls debate is abuse, personal disparagement and the repetitive use of facts which have been proven false. Sweeping generalizations gleaned from singular if not irrelevant events. The issue being Bolt does not debate he simply propagandizes and rarely brings anything new to the table on any issue.
When the police don't give figures or state who these sympathizers are what gives Bolt the right to falsely suggest 1) they are immigrants 2) they aren't Australians 3) that we as Australians can't sympatize with their actions.
Bolt calls for troops on the ground in Syria in order to do that there needs to be some understanding and sympathy for the rebel cause some of whom are deemed on any other day terrorists. The coalition armed terrorists that was and is sympathy in action. Turkey just sympathized with the Turkmen on it's borders deemed terrorists by Russia and took down a Russian plane. You can't have it every which way Bolt Sympathy isn't a crime vilification is. I have a very clear view of the error made allowing a Dutch family migrate here to see the damage their son does to the social fabric and cohesion in this country.
"We need a conservation about the policies, assumptions and moral
posturing that led to the importation of this danger, and to the
coaching of the essential wickedness"
I agree far more attention rather than just stereotyping needs to be given to the people allowed in because we failed comprehensively when allowing the Bolt's in. But then we were rewarded with Richard Bolt.
According to Andrew Bolt an indigenous man vilified Jews at a synagogue yesterday? Bolt had little to say on the matter of theft drunkenness and theft but simply concentrated on the tribalism and the words that were used. The Jews of Melbourne applaud the necessity of Section 18C They are not intolerant and say it must be retained. Not a peep was heard from Bolt against that view. Bolt however backed off from comment saying it was too dangerous because of the assumption the man was aboriginal. At no time did Bolt defend the man's right to say what he did. Bolt was certainly not heard supporting the right of free speaking. Yet our agnostic hero steps up for the Church. " Do we really have such little respect for our freedom to speak, to debate and even to mock?" Bolt. I guess sides are more important than principle
The longer Bolt's blogs the less he has to offer and the more he wants to convince.
Firstly Bolt is right ISIS is useful for him as an extreme Conservative who is anti Islam , anti Immigration and anti any notion of tolerance. He is a denier of and active destroyer of the grey zone in which Australians have historically lived. He is definitely useful to ISIS because they also want to diminish no do away with the notion of multiculturalism. Coversion & assimilation is both their goals
The idiot General Bolt wants troops on the ground " Nothing is clear or clean in this war. No one can be trusted, as this analysis by Adam Garfinkle of the Foreign Policy Research Institute makes clear:" Bolt. Bolt even in camouflaged rhetoric makes it clear even our allies can't be trusted. Turkey happily and actively supports ISIS keeping their supply lines of funds, supplies and recruits open. That Andrew Bolt is a political understanding. All Bolt can say is"
So Turkey is not so unhappy with the rise of the Islamic State"Now that's the level of Bolt Intelligence, a standout example of an oxymoron. ISIS wants foreign troops on the ground. They know it will boost their recruits and sympathizers.
Given there is no chance that anybody can be trusted Bolt says it's necessary for the coalition to send in uniformed coalition troops SAS into a territory where IS is buried among the people. Maybe Bolt suggests sending them in ununiformed so that even the coalition wont be able to recognize itself. Neither makes sense only death. According to Bolt it's "virtually impossible" any political solution to be found without sending in troops in to help people we don't recognize or fully trust" apparently this is how peace was made historically at the barrell of a gun. "and it is even less likely if the US and Australia keep rejecting the
idea of sending soldiers to help those “moderate” Sunnis fight:" History has told us otherwise. Bolt can't even name these moderates who aren't soldiers but are farmers who have been given. vague banner called the FSA. Whose members have joined ISIS with their US weapons because they pay better.
Bolt calls out for the escalation of bombing with disregard for any notion of "collateral damage" or "excessive" after all they are only terms that can be argued about later as can the actual numbers killed which can always be denied. Bolt wants to help ISIS with his 1000 bombing sorties fictionally called "targeted" Targeted like the Israelis raids in Gaza. A proven formula that wins the hearts and minds of the people. He is the general in Dr Strangelove.
So where Bolt says there is "virtually no chance of a political settlement" he wants to ensure there isn't. Settlements have been seen to be made regularly among the rebels and with Turkey war is on going arrangements and not just attempts at final solutions. It seems any solution minimizing further deaths is far better than one guaranteeing more. But not according to general Bolt who directs his war from his kitchen table making sweeping generalizations that can't in fact be made. It's why we are abandoning Afghanistan because the sweeping generalizations of the past have always proved to be wrong and only resulted in people being sent home in body bags.
