Trump's tweeting turns a bad day into a disaster

Trump's tweeting turns a bad day into a disaster

During the tumultuous first three years of his presidency, Donald Trump has experienced some damaging days. This was up there with the worst.

As she was speaking, Trump jumped onto Twitter to lambast that witness - a move Democrats seized upon as a potential article of impeachment.
Then it was announced that one of the President's most longstanding allies, infamous "dirty trickster" Roger Stone, had been found guilty of multiple crimes and was headed to jail.
Her testimony delivered something more human: a compelling personal story of a career public servant and corruption fighter smeared and eventually thrown overboard by an American president and his allies.

Adam Schiff, the Democratic Chair of the House Intelligence Committee immediately grasped the tweet's potential as an article of impeachment.
"We take this kind of witness intimidation and obstruction of inquiry very seriously," he said.
Even loyal Trump supporters said it was a bad look for the President to attack a witness while she was testifying.

next week with Gordon Sondland, the US ambassador to the European Union, set to be the key witness. The Trump appointee amended his initial private testimony to confirm that there was a direct link between military aid for Ukraine and an investigation into the Bidens.

Former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch is sworn in to testify.

'Witness intimidation in real time': Trump attacks ex-ambassador as she testifies

When asked about the effect of such attacks by the President on potential witnesses, the former ambassador to Ukraine said: "It's very intimidating."
Democrats are poised to add witness intimidation to their articles of impeachment against Donald Trump after the President attacked the former US ambassador to Ukraine on Twitter while she was testifying on Capitol Hill.
Marie Yovanovitch, a career diplomat who was removed from her posting in May, testified that the official US policy in Ukraine had been "hijacked" by a group of "shady" Ukrainians working alongside allies of the US President, including Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

Roger Stone is a longtime Republican provocateur.

Roger Stone found guilty of witness tampering, lying to Congress

Could this lead to charges of  "Witnesses Intimidation" being brought against Fox News, Sinclair and other "forever Trump" broadcasters and news opinionators screaming for blood? Needless to say, the can will be kicked up the road to SCOTUS the privately-owned court of  Trumpster judges. Democracy in America has been dealt a deadly blow by this President. (ODT)

A jury has convicted US President Donald Trump's adviser Roger Stone, finding the long-time Republican operative and self-proclaimed "dirty trickster" guilty on seven criminal counts of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering.

The verdict, in a trial arising from investigations of Russian interference in the 2016 US election, is not only a blow to Stone but renews scrutiny on then-candidate Trump's activities at a time when he faces an impeachment inquiry that could derail his presidency.

The US offers to rescue Australian IS families in Syria

Posted | Updated
A US counter-terrorism official says the country's "military assets" could be used to get to eight Australian IS fighters and more than 60 women and children in northern Syria, a dangerous region that has become even more volatile since Turkey's offensive last month.

Speaking exclusively to the ABC, top US counter-terrorism official Nathan Sales said it was a serious problem, and all countries had a responsibility to take back their citizens.
He revealed the US had offered to help its Coalition partners by "facilitating" the return of foreign fighters and their families to their countries of origin.

Australians must get a sense of shame when they hear NZ offers to relocate 150 of the refugees in detention on Manus and Nauru and the LNP Government refuses to let them? Now the US offers to rescue the stranded IS families in Syria, particularly the 60 Australian women and children. While our government will do everything they can to prevent that happening? (ODT)

  1. Australia struggling to contain Chinese political interference, US warns

A US Congressional report says Australia is having limited success in countering Chinese political interference and suggests new joint military training bases could be set up across the Indo-Pacific to thwart Beijing.
The Americanisation of Australia is far too obvious:
One of the suggestions for Congress is to direct the Trump administration to "assess the viability and impact of establishing new military training centres hosted by Indo-Pacific allies and partners".Earlier this year, the ABC revealed discussions had begun for a possible new port facility just outside Darwin which could eventually help US Marines operate more readily in the Indo-Pacific.

 FAKE AND TWISTED NEWS

Bolt's Blog shows just how independent Bolt's lazy approach to commentary is. What a privileged position he has and just how wasted that is. An ad for the Spectator the most contrived conservative magazine makes up 10% of space while 33% constitutes space promoting the IPA the least trusted but most influential Think Tank in this country. One whose history supported the deaths of Australia's young men since post WW2 and then simply mythologising those deaths rather than publicly admitting they were wrong. Another 10% repetition of the forever innocence of George Pell with nothing new to add than I'm better than the British Justice System. 10% devoted to "suspicion " that "reverse racism" in the NT may have caused a knee jerk political reaction in letting a police officer charged with murder get bail. The Science of Climate Change receives another 33% accusing agencies of both fraud and whacky predictions. Bolt is just playing whack- a- mole rather than offering anything original that what the campaign to promote "safe smoking" did for years Bolt. He hardly stretches himself as an investigator of any sort really. While none of these reading directions are Bolt's own work, the sales pitch is nevertheless to read them as his. It indicates how his brain and mindset are applied. Generally, this flows on to repetition found in "The Bolt Report" and his Columns. It can be best described as unoriginal, even plagiarised but definitely the overproduced work of others.  (ODT)

US ‘pullout’ from Syria looking more like permanent occupation with 800 troops reportedly tasked to ‘protect’ oil

US ‘pullout’ from Syria looking more like permanent occupation with 800 troops reportedly tasked to ‘protect’ oil

If the US government isn't in the oil business who are they protecting the oil for? in, Iraq, it was Exxon. The US citizens are paying to protect the pirated assets for the shareholders of some multinational conglomerate like Exxon. Large donors to GOP nad legitimate in the eyes of US laws due to Citizens United. Politicians are lobbied, bribed largely owned by these mega-corporations that are a system within a system that's no longer Democratic. (ODT)

The long-awaited US pullout from Syria appears to have been postponed, with Pentagon sources claiming some 800 troops will stay behind to “guard” Syria’s oil, in a mission even pro-war US politicians are calling “reckless.”

America: Bases, Bases, Everywhere, and Not a Base in Sight

Even Australia doesn't know about this Game of Thrones (ODT)
In the end, the withdrawal of 1,000 U.S. military personnel turned out to be largely illusory, as an influx of new forces to a different part of Syria left troop levels almost unchanged.
The abandonment of about a dozen outposts across northeastern Syria likely constitutes the largest mass closure of military bases of the Trump presidency. (Since the Pentagon refuses to provide an accurate count of overseas outposts, however, there’s no way to make certain of that.) Still, while this reduction of outposts in Syria is significant, it hardly constitutes a substantial drawdown of U.S. forces in the region (especially at a moment when President Trump may be sending tanks and armoured vehicles, with all the necessary supporting forces, into the area around Syria’s oil fields). With the president either reshuffling troops in Syria or merely relocating them elsewhere in the Middle East and a new contingent of American forces deploying to Saudi Arabia, there will
actually, be a net gain in U.S. troops in the region at this moment of supposed reduction.

THE NEW COMPASSION: BEING NICE TO HORSES BY BEING MEAN TO HUMANS

An ABC viewer? Certainly someone from the newly totalitarian Left: "A Melbourne bottle shop owner has claimed a customer abused and spat at him after he asked if she wanted to take part in a Melbourne Cup sweepstake." Cruelty to horses, bad. Cruelty to humans, fine.
1h ago
You can't get more fake and twisted than this. 4000 horses bred for the racing industry are sent to the knackery. They are treated in a way matched by the Jews during the Holocaust. Andrew Bolt finds the treatment of this bottle shop owner worse. He even regards impolite behaviour in this case no driven by justified outrage but driven by "cruelty". His effort at claiming an equivalence between the two is based on his beliefs that Black Racism exists Males are victims of women and in this case, humans, if required to treat animals well in civilized society humans, are somehow deprived. His Dutch dogs deserve to be treated as wastage as are the horses in the racing industry and see how polite Bolt remains to those that deliver them or approve of their experience.

TRUMP UP, TURNBULL GONE: HOW THE PARIS DEAL SORTS WINNERS FROM LOSERS

Terry McCrann: "The delicious part of the formal US withdrawal from the Fake Paris Climate Accord — which our worst ever prime minister Malcolm Turnbull stupidly, disgracefully and indeed desperately signed us up to — is that it will happen the day after President Donald Trump is almost certainly re-elected." Note, Trump wins, Turnbull gone.

Put McCrann and Bolt together and you'll get more real information out of a sack of rocks. Trump helped lose Kentucky, Virginia and will lose Louisiana. There was a swing against the incumbent Republican in Mississipi and he lost the midterms, Yet, to McCrann and Bolt that's up not down. As for the Paris Agreement, he's currently a loner as far as the rest of the world is concerned. Since his election, he's been fact-checked for 14.000++ lies and has lost more court actions than any President in American History and facing even more. He's the West's equivalent of Kim Jong -Un more broken promises sacked and jailed staff. and an Administration in total chaos. That's really is a "winner".

Being a psychiatrist, I abhor negative depictions of the mentally ill but as an ardent Batman fan, I was hopeful. As it happens, I was blown away. Joaquin Phoenix’s towering performance and Todd Phillips’ masterful direction undoubtedly helped, but mostly it was the way it approached mental illness.

THE JOKER IS A WHITE SUPREMACIST? NYT CRITIC GOES PEAK WOKE

Peak woke at The New York Times?: "What struck me most is what the film [Joker]... says about whiteness... It is essentially a depiction of what happens when white supremacy is left unchecked. It shows the delusions that many white men have about their place in society and the brutality that can result when that place is denied."  Let's fact-check.

Woke as a political term of African American origin refers to a perceived awareness of issues concerning social justice and racial justice. It is derived from the African-American Vernacular English the expression "stay woke", whose grammatical aspect refers to a continuing awareness of these issues.

Andrew Bolt loves to deride anything "Woke" as if he's  "up with it". In doing so he amplifies his "white supremacist face" next we'll see him taking back the use of "nigger" and "boy"  stolen from his white vernacular in the 60s.

As for the NYT's reviewer of the Joker he's as entitled to depicting Phoenix putting on his white face as being just another Andrew Bolt and being far more accurate than Bolt was when depicting Canadian PM Trudeau of being black as did recently. Seems Bolt has taken the NYT review personally which shows just how accurate it is.

The above comments by the psychiatrist, Kamran Ahmed is far more relevant and seemed to have missed Bolt's attention but then Bolt's personality reminds me of another deranged cinematic killer Brady Hartsfield in Mr Mercedes whose ambition is to fuck everyone's mind up to be like him even after death.

Turkey, Russia seal deal to patrol Syrian border, oust Kurds

The deal transform the map of northeast Syria, leaving Turkey in sole control over one section in the middle of the border, while Turkey, Russia and the Syrian government will have hands in the rest.

The US pullout has proven chaotic. It ran into a new hitch when neighbouring Iraq said on Tuesday that American forces did not have permission to stay on its territory. The Iraqi announcement seemed to contradict US Defence Secretary Mark Esper, who a day earlier said the forces leaving Syria would deploy in Iraq to fight IS.

Erdogan is "a thief", Assad told troops during a visit to the north-western province of Idlib. "He stole the factories and the wheat and the oil in cooperation with Daesh [Islamic State] and now is stealing the land."
"We are in the middle of a battle and the right thing to do is to rally efforts to lessen the damages from the invasion and to expel the invader sooner or later," Assad said.

Peter Loffel has traded in camels and cattle, but he also buys horses to send to the abattoir.

Peter Loffel, the 'kill buyer', is the face of horse racing’s unpalatable truth

The racing Industry is found doing a TRUMP

He is known as a kill buyer, although he prefers the term horse trader. He buys horses no one wants and trucks them to a place that no horse wants to end up.

The horses he buys are nearly all retired racehorses or trotters, he tells The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. He says he buys most of his gallopers direct from trainers, licensed participants in an industry which has spent the past four days claiming it has no idea so many thoroughbreds are sent to abattoirs.
"Most of them are some sort of racehorse. We don't buy people's riding horses or saddle horses."
If what Loffel says is true, the industry’s claim that horses are being slaughtered beyond their sight is bunk; any trainer who sells a horse to Loffel knows exactly where it is going.

MEGHAN AND HARRY: NOT VICTIMS BUT WHINGERS

Media arseholes tend to unite to themselves for nothing more than ratings sake and attention. Here in Australia, the wannabe loudest arsehole has been Andrew Bolt. Andrew Bolt is, also Australia's head and leading whinger who has turned on Harry and Megan simply because he can and wants attention. However, he's a latecomer to the bovver feast an also-ran to put in the boot.
Remember how Bolt whinged ever so loudly when our law turned on him for not behaving appropriately. What did Bolt do? He bit his lower lip sulked, whinged and wailed like the spoilt brat he is, postured and threatened to quit the media.  However, when nobody yelled "don't" to our disappointment, he didn't.
So what we have here is a Monarchist, a Media arsehole who rarely provides News or information directly supporting two dysfunctional institutions. By attacking Harry and Megan victims of both for speaking up by using the law.  Rather than defending Harry and Megan's right, he's defending a corrupt media that feeds off a Cultural Dinosaur for profit. A press, whose editor's mindset is  "if it bleeds it leads" and who in the case of Megan "make her bleed" to get the lead. Andrew Bolt, in all of this, is a simple camp follower, a lazy latecomer who has stolen the opportunity to stick his knife in and twist it. It's what he calls his job.
However, when he was charged and found guilty, he wailed like a spoilt brat and claimed victimhood. Then neither our law nor the media failed like they have Harry and Megan. They are currently gorging on the opportunity of profit by screwing two individuals who they have made bleed. Bolt is defending the Bovver boy actions of his team.

IN 26 YEARS, THE ABC'S MEDIA WATCH HAS NEVER CORRECTED THE BIG CLIMATE LIE

The ABC's Media Watch in 26 years has never corrected what even a global warming scientist admits is a popular newspaper falsehood - that global warming causes droughts. Instead, it now does a cover up, only to be exposed by a PowerPoint slide. From The Bolt Report.

For how many years did we hear Climate expert Andrew Bolt declare the 'Planet is Cooling". Has he ever apologised and heard to say he was "wrong"? He's wrong now as well, We saw how this media thug used Andy Pitman then threw him aside simply to attack Paul Barry and the ABC, why?  For revealing how Bolt used Pitman for his own benefit and not the underlying truth that global warming does have an indirect connection to the "intensity of droughts" which Bolt denies. Just as he did when he insisted the Planet was cooling.

TURKEY MAKES PEACE DEAL ON SYRIA. TRUMP'S 'MISTAKE' ISN'T

True, Russia emerges as the king-maker, but Donald Trump's pullout is not the bloody mistake we were told: "Russia and Turkey agreed on Tuesday...to ensure Kurdish forces withdraw from areas close to Syria's border with Turkey and to launch joint patrols ... just hours ahead of a deadline for Turkey to restart its assault on Syrian Kurdish forces."
3h ago
America pulled out of Vietnam to win the war for peace. Trump pulled out of Syria to win the war for peace. Now Iraq wants the Americans gone for Peace as does Afghanistan. Amazing how America such a peacemaker moving in and out other sovereign territories generally disadvantaging those they co-opted as allies when they first moved in then deserting them.
Here is the reason Andrew Bolt is little more than a media ape. Any peace on the Syrian border hasn't been Trump's success; it's been entirely Putin's because of Trump's failure. Trump started a war to defeat ISIS and get rid of Assad. He achieved neither.
He has handed the Middle East to Syria, Russia, Iran and Iraq and lost control of the oil and has had to increase troops in Saudi Arabia. In the meantime, he's supported a bloodbath in Yemen.
Israel is now in a less comfortable position as Trump has actually helped unite the Shia in the area. At the same time showing the world how America treats its allies and can't be trusted. The biggest losers have been Israel, the Kurds, and the US reputation as peacemakers. In the meantime, Yemen is a humanitarian disaster in the hands of the US and Saudi's.

Recently a friend who follows the news a bit less obsessively than I do said, “I thought George W. Bush was bad, but it seems like Donald Trump is even worse. What do you think?”
“Well,” I replied, “in terms of causing death and destruction, I suspect Bush still has the edge.” In fact, the U.S.-led forever wars begun under the Bush administration have killed hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq and Afghanistan (almost half a million by one respected estimate). And those are only directly caused, violent deaths. Several times that many have reportedly died from hunger, illness, and infrastructure collapse.

ABC'S OMISSIONS ON EMISSIONS

COLUMN  ABC Media Watch host Paul Barry attacked me this week for quoting warmist Professor Andy Pitman saying "there is no link between climate change and drought". He said Pitman had since clarified that he'd omitted the word "direct". But Barry himself sneakily omitted half of Pitman's original quote ... which makes nonsense of that clarification.
UPDATE: BARRY COWERS My column today showed Media Watch host Paul Barry omitted key quotes to claim I'd misrepresented the views of a global warming scientist who'd conceded there was no link between global warming and drought. Barry's response? That I omitted quotes, too. Here's my response to his pathetic and deceptive reply. UPDATE: Barry doesn't dare publish it.

Head whack-a-mole and centre of the unreasoned world in his own head Andrew Bolt is like Donal J Trump, who picks up on any dared criticism to amplify his own importance. Andrew Bolt politicises Science by selectively pouncing on the slightest inappropriate error and when it's corrected never acknowledges it unless forced to by the likes of Media Watch and Paul Barry. However, like Trump, it's then another opportunity for self-aggrandisement and attention-grabbing. There are far more important things going on in the world but none as crucial as Andrew Bolt.

Pitman corrected his quote the one Bolt chooses to repeat here without correction in full of course. What Pitman meant to have said "there is no direct link between climate change and drought" but what Bolt also omitted was that there have been "indirect" ones which might determine their intensity.  Hasn't the same been said of hurricanes floods and tornadoes? Bolt keeps telling us there hasn't been an increase in numbers but avoids talking about their intensities. He can't explain why if fewer people are killed why insurance premiums keep escalating if according to him everything is on the improve.

However, let it be said this isn't the first scientist Bolt has used and abused by twisting their words NZ Professor Paul Kench studied data on Pacific Island Attols and has had his conclusions cut short and twisted by Bolt as well. Bolt never really turns to the peer-reviewed journals that science builds it's reputation and evidence on because they, unlike him, reveal the mega-consensus in the scientific world on the rapidly accelerating rate of climate change.  Bolt steers away from this world which magnifies just how emissions are the cause of anthropogenic climate change. He prefers the louder world of paid political influencing where exactness is the least of concerns.

Is this the reply you'd expect from an adult sophisticated "intellectual" Bolt pretends to be or a child doing a Trump and making up excuses blaming others for his selectivity and overlooking a major trend that defeats his argument on variability yet again.

Paul
Your email is pathetic. Deceptive. Ill-informed. And evasive.
So do you then admit you yourself omitted something very material? Then apologise and correct.
Your implied defence - that I omitted something, too - is pathetic.
First, pathetic even on your own terms - that two (alleged) wrongs make you right.
Second, I have several times quoted the entire passage. Look it up. I also quoted the full passage on my rebuttal on Sky News on Tuesday.
Third, there was nothing but consideration of a 390-word limit behind my not publishing the entirety of Pitman's comments in my column as well.
Fourth, the omission is obviously immaterial. That “trend” over 20 years signifies nothing about global warming. There was a historically anomalous wet period around the 1970s in particular, with rainfall since falling back again, but to levels still above what we saw in the first half of the century. That’s all.

Having frothed and spittled all over the place Bolt can't stop even telling Paul Barry he's calling in another gang member to unload on him an idiot equal Terry McCrann to back him up. A threat to intimidate Barry or posture before a witless audience?

Bolt's reply ... 'Your email is pathetic. Deceptive. Ill-informed. And evasive.' Prepare for assault from Sky and Terry McCrann. #mediawatch #climateextremes

As you see, I have no embarrassment at all in publishing Barry's attempted gotcha of me.
In contrast, Paul Barry does not dare publish my response:
Weak. No confidence at all in his argument.
And totally, unprofessional. He makes a bogus attack on me yet does not publish my rebuttal.
And remember: Barry is paid by the ABC to operate like this. And we fund the ABC to be impartial, not a soapbox for climate hysterics.
Something is very broken here.

Andrew Bolt really does have the childlike insecure temperament like trump.

As for data Bolt selectively doesn't use any global science in trending data but only Australian meteorological data note his graph. He continues repeating what has been said by global science that there is no direct evidence that warming causes droughts. But there is trending evidence which is macro and global of some 40 drought-afflicted areas looked at. The most extreme 30 ever seen have occurred recently when the planet was also experiencing the highest emission heat recorded.  That trending is not mentioned by Bolt who sticks selectively to local and Meteorology data while telling us he's as honest as driven snow a peeved and posturing Andrew Bolt also there to distract.

  LeBron James

LeBron James

LEBRON JAMES AND THE POWER OF A DICTATOR'S DOLLAR

James is a Black American living in Trumpland. Bolt and Trump are  White Supremacists, both promoting Trump as a winner. "LeBron James is just the latest flake" (Andrew Bolt)
"China has instead started the war already, with cyber warriors and the financial weapon of 1.4 billion Chinese" Seems he's saying Trump is losing and Bolt would be happy to see him "nuke" them. " This war is going brilliantly, too- — for China." Bolt's reality is certainly not one that sees Australia as a Pacific Nation is it 7000 + Kms away from either the UK or the USA? He'd rather it be another Murdoch/ GOP State

The USA has 800 military bases outside of its borders. It's economy is Military dependant. China has only 1. Yet China is running a war according to Andrew Bolt because it's leading the world by the example of assistance and diplomacy. Cuba was always the first to run that sort of "war" of support. They came as teachers and doctors the first aid in crisis zones to help. What a shock to see Australia's hidden embarrassment and the treatment of its indigenous peoples. To find they were the world's worst assisted and by an OECD member.

America is a nation of peace lovers leading with guns and threats like Trump telling Kim "I have the bigger button" and is being promoted as such by a Murdoch Corp of puppets. Andrew Bolt is one, who dreams he's Australia's, Sean Hannity. If only he could find another Tony Abbott to lift him. Who made him feel like Thomas the Tank "I think I can I think I can" but has since lost his radio presence, advertises a podcast that found an early grave after 5 weeks, has a blog that's little more than ad for the Herald Sun hunting for targets and commissions on subs and a Sky News hour that is produced for him and not by him.  It's autocued and instead of requiring him to be a reasoned thinker and debater all he does is repeat and read a monitor in a suit and once a week have an expensive whiskey with a like-minded mate. While calling Lebron James a "flake" because he's black ????

"It’s a remarkable thing to see a populist political stance transform into a liability in front of your eyes. So it is with the federal Coalition’s adventures in climate denialism.
Consider the story arc commencing with Tony Abbott’s leadership: what was once perhaps the most potent stick an opposition leader has wielded – leaving both Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard in its wreckage – this week disintegrated to the point that even the Coalition’s own colleagues in the NSW government have now abandoned them."

We're Allowed to Celebrate Trump's Withdrawal From Syria

It is long past time to leave behind childish things – excessive optimism, sentimentality (for the Kurds, for example), and the foolish fantasy of America’s special mission to transform the world – in the interest of sound strategy. Love Trump or hate him, his decision on Syria is neither “impulsive,” “irresponsible,” or unacceptably “dangerous.” The president is delivering on his – albeit muddled – campaign promise to eschew risky interventionism and put American interests first in foreign policy. Let us give credit where credit is do.
Losers
1 Israel because the Russians are there to assist Syria with real weaponry
2 YPG Kurds abandoned and doublecrossed by the US will have now to face off against Turkey.
3 Iraq in fear of the resurgence of ISIL
4 The Saudis
5 The USA because who will trust them again?

Winners
1 Turkey will become a greater force in the region it blunted the US against Iran and effectively weakened the Saudis while making inroads with their relationship with Russia.
2 Iran
3 Russia it's sphere of influence significantly strengthened
4 The Assad Regime. They will assist the abandoned Kurds and protect them from Turkey
5 The Shiite militias from Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran because they will remain a force against ISIS

NEW: THE ANDREW BOLT PODCAST

Andrew Bolt is such a drama queen his podcast with John Roskam has failed to rate he hasn't a radio show to call his own so he has done a podcast . Bolt constantly talks of debate and discussion but never appears on any platform that provides such a format. Rather he simply provides his audience with editorials and monologues as would a preacher who believes he has the answers to Australia's salvation. Answers however that only favour an elect minority in this country rather than the common good.
His podcast with John Roskam failed to rate yet Bolt claimed it was No1 when it was first released. This one is far more pretentious overproduced and shows Bolt off at his best which in the world of podcasts is scraping the bottom of the barrel.  It's schoolboy trash presented by an adult without an autocue.
Bolt hated Trump, promoted Trump, now dislikes Trump, but now appreciates Trump for the hate Trump brings about from his opposition. All of this shows Bolt off to be everybody's man but his own and the beginning of this effort for attention seems to be just another attempt to grab centre stage the most conservative way possible. Take on every form of media possible and the fragmentation will gurantee a fragmented following at least if not a united one. It seems after all these years he's been desperately trying to collect a crowd but with the failure of the LNP, he needs other alternatives. Unlike real journalists and commentators, Bolt's followers seem thin on the ground. His podcast seems more than confused and sounds very jerrybuilt paraphrasing the words of others rather than his own. But then where would Bolt be without the ABC and Fairfax Ltd and News Corp certainly not the pretender he is now.

Andrew Bolt's Blog,19/10/18; Magpies : In how many ways can Andrew Bolt reveal his Hypocrisy? ISIS in Syria ;

Magpie on green grass

If you love feeding magpies, your kindness could be killing them - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

On any given spring day around Australia you can spot cyclists and pedestrians ducking, weaving and running for cover to avoid swooping magpies.

Andrew Bolt loves feeding his local Magpies despite this warning. It show the kind of Australian he really is.

Bolt has misread the Australian Jewish support for the "right-wing" Zionist influenced policy to move our embassy to Jerusalem and acknowledging it as Israel's capital. News Corp's publicity that Morrison was weak for saying it was just under consideration rather than an actuality has brought a reaction that has in fact angered the Jewish community in Wentworth which was always divided on current Israeli. Furthermore when Goys like Bolt declare what it is they ought to think it goes beyond anger and will result in a protest vote not against Turnbull but against the divisive right-wing of the Liberal Party.
Bolt fails to recognize we aren't America and never have been and we are Australians first some of who also happen to be Jews. Bolt it seems speaks for nobody other than that minority in the Liberal Party, He is an agnostic, dual passport holder that hates socialism yet dreams of retiring to a much more socialist nation than Australia the Netherlands. He complains incessantly about the country in which he was born Australian Jews don't. Bolt even dreams of a barge in Amsterdam a city double the population of Melbourne with over 50% of who aren't even Dutch and 35% not from a Western Culture. Ten million tourists pass through Amsterdam yearly so much so the AirBnB industry has driven the locals out of its centre. Bolt complains about Melbourne but dreams of the Netherlands how hypocritical is that?
He says supports Israel but then also dreams of a country noted in history for killing more Jews as a % of its population than even Germany. Neo-Nazis are great supporters of Israel as is Bolt. In America, they are quite open about it and speak of it as the new Final Solution. However, that's America Bolt and not Australia.
The ALP  is morally and ethically correct in not supporting the shift of our embassy to Jerusalem as it would play into the hands of the Israeli Zionists and international ultra- right wing which in 2018 seems to have found a very strange and threatening bond.

Bolt's links come from Murdoch Media
ISIS, Israel and US backed rebels have attacked Russian backed Assad forces in Syria with the help of US intel and logistics. One wonders who has been supplying ISIS forces with weapons it certainly hasn't been the Russians.
Yes it's terrible but not as terrible as the number of Yemenis slaughtered daily with the aid of American logistics and never really mentioned by by Western MSM. Strange that Bolt seems to overlook the fact that indiscriminate numbers of women and children have been killed. However he emphasizes that several numbers of Europeans and US Nationals have been taken hostage, no figures have yet been supplied. Why is it that Putin has been the one to break this news One asks what were these Europeans doing there in the first place? They certainly weren't tourists nor there it seems to assist ISIS
" The area has been under attack by the US-led coalition and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for the last month. But the offensive has been met with heavy resistance from around 5000 ISIS fighters."
It seems Trump had spoken too quickly when he declared the war won against ISIS who are also in Afghanistan giving the Americans a difficult time as well Israel secretly armed and funded 12 Syrian rebel groups, report say  Haaretz Trump hardly seems concerned that the Saudis America's and our allies are torturing and murdering people and are doing it on a wholesale basis. ISIS is using the hostages as bargaining chips for unstated demands which Putin has failed to disclose. "State news agency Tass Wednesday cited an unnamed "diplomatic-military source" as saying the hostages were seized in a raid on a refugee camp and were demanding Syria free IS members.

The hostages it seems were taken from refugee camps that housed people Andrew Bolt claimed were simply economic refugees that didn't need to be given asylum in the West. So why does he seem so concerned now?

Islamic State have captured 700 hostages in Syria overnight.

ISIS murderous history: Terrorist group takes 700 hostages

ON TUESDAY, Donald Trump made a bold declaration, declaring victory. Only two days later, that lie was proven deadly wrong.
That’s what US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday.
But fast forward to today and we hear reports that far from being defeated, Islamic State has this week captured 700 hostages and says it will kill 10 of them a day unless the group’s demands are met.
It’s understood that members of IS attacked a refugee camp last week, leading to the hostages being taken. Among them are Europeans and US citizens.

What a gutless bugger Bolt is using Palestinians as a PAYWALL.
The BDF against Israel, it's anti-free speech laws, apartheid policies, and it's state sponsored murder, might have done the same job but that doesn't profit News Corp or Rupert Murdoch who apparently has substantial investments in Genie Oil & Gas in the occupied territories of Syria on the Golan height Genie Oil: The Real Reason Syria Is A World War III Flashpoint - XYZ
" It’s an oil and gas exploration company based in Newark, New Jersey. Now usually commodity exploration companies are what are known as ‘penny-stocks’: high-risk, low-value companies which operate on paper-thin margins run by dreamers and crooks in the hope of striking it big one day like the Rockefellers."
The reason you will never see anything anti-Israel in News Corp affiliated media

A quick look at the Strategic Advisory Board of Genie Oil & Gas can help us understand what’s going on behind the scenes with the development of the Golan Heights oil fields. The following information comes from their website.

SHORTEN MISTAKE NO BIG DEAL

Column Bill Shorten is a victim of his own success. Under him, Labor has led the Turnbull government in the polls for a record-breaking 21 months. That’s bored journalists. Remember that when you read about his supposedly career-threatening mistake - when he blurted out the truth about his tax policy. Read on.

Bolt's talking about himself projecting in a very unconcealed and obvious way however unintended. He spent poll after poll telling us how Turnbull was a dud and Shorten was a soda for PM because Turnbull was a dud and the LNP would lose the next election unless the party brought Abbott back. He came to realise that was not going to happen. He realised he couldn't keep sounding like a scratched record. "See, no reporter wants to keep filing the same story at every poll: “Labor leads, Turnbull, flops.” Bolt
So this year it's Bolt who focused on telling us Shorten's leadership was fragile and it's not the first time he did it back before Abbott was dumped when he couldn't keep apologizing for Abbot's stupid mistakes. Bolt was doing this in other ways but nevertheless telling us how " Shorten was going to lose the Batman by-election and then be replaced by his popular Leftist rival, Anthony Albanese?"  However, faced with the silence within the Labor Party and its obvious unity a counterpoint to what's going on in the others Bolt has had no legs to stand on. The Labor Party has been united and Bolt has been sprung and is not saying sorry or admitting his failures but blaming his commentaries as the reporting of others.

The fractiousness and chaos continue within all Parties, the Liberal, National One Nation and the Greens. Abbott the loyal keeps loudly threatening to vote against his own on the NEG or any other issue he can dream up not quietly within the party but threatening it loudly, as publicly as he can in all the media. There is no such ruckus found under Shortens Leadership. The fact is Bolt is doing a Trump and blaming his faults on others and he thinks nobody notices.

" Pauline Hanson and Bill  Shorten are two leaders in trouble. But how much exactly? Is the media beating this up? My editorial from The Bolt Report:"
Yes, Bolt is doing a Trump, flip-flopping like Hansen zig-zagging like Andrew Bolt pretending to be someone else. It's not new he did it when Abbott was PM. When he could no longer excuse Abbott and seem a respectable and readable commentator. Remember Bolt saying that Abbott had got the message and would change his ways. He didn't and he kept tripping up and putting his foot in his mouth. Bolt gave up the excuses and went silent on Abbott and turned his focus on Shorten. Telling us he wasn't going discuss the rumours of rape, theft, etc etc. When Abbott was dumped he spent enormous efforts to raise him from the dead calling him a martyr and focused on burying Turnbull. Well, it's all failed and turned to naught. Zig Zag Zig put the blame elsewhere, deflect it by blaming others. But what is clear and simple Andrew Bolt like any ego-centric knucklehead begins to look like an amateur projecting and speaking about himself because he can't admit he's been wrong over and over again..

This stupid banner is meant to attract you because it's just a PAYWALL SCAM

"We're told the ban will save some turtles from choking on plastic. But a few dead turtles seems a small price to pay for the convenience of a plastic bag." The real Andrew Bolt should crusade and send his message to future shoppers in kindergartens the true value of plastic convenience.

Bolt logic

"Too shocking? But don't even greens think a few dead kangaroos and wombats is a small price to pay for the convenience of driving briskly at night on a country road?"Bolt somehow believes that there are as many cars on our roads as there are plastic bags. Nevertheless, they are working on that too Mr Bolt The future will be driverless cars to reduce his problem of what he calls "the convenient death of humans and fauna on our roads.

With increasing reductions in check out staff and increasing numbers using do it yourself checkouts Bolt futile message of fear sound more like the last agonizing screams of a drowning man.
" Mice, cockroaches, needles, razor blades, dentures and dirty nappies have been found by supermarket check-out workers in reusable shopping bags, with employees told they can refuse to pack unhygienic bags."
Who are the checkout chicks that rummage through everybody's shopping bags anyway? Is Bolt a well-known shoplifter even if he was no checkout person would put their hand in his bags that's for sure.  Besides single-use bags haven't been around since Mary did the shopping in Jerusalem?
Apparently, Bolt believes plastic pollution of rivers and oceans a natural state of progress and is an inconvenience that benefits and is the equivalent of cars on roads. If there were as many plastic bags as there are cars on roads there might not be the problem now experienced with plastic pollution globally. Bolt apparently wouldn't mind living in a rubbish dump as long as his fence line protected him. His neighbours should broadcast his Australian addresses as he doesn't mind a little plastic collecting for convenience sake. Millions of plastic pieces choking Port Phillip Bay

Listen to the sound of Bolt decrying "activist" judges as lefties when they don't give him the result he wants. Judges elected to their positions not by governments but by judges themselves. However, he applauds Trumps chance to select the judges he wants if only Bolt could and then declare them to be objective in a democracy where the separation of powers is meant to be sacrosanct. The fact is Bolt like Mussolini believes judges shouldn't be elected but selected for their politics. He believes that should be the case in all our institutions. Yes, the man surely does believe in Fascism as defined by Benito Mussolini and Tony Abbott was the man most likely to put it into practice in Australia and today Peter Dutton remains his man. Remember the Boomgate incident when Scott Morrison was trying to stop two idiots getting busted.
There is no doubt about it America will feel the effects of Trump into the future but Trump is just the showman who insists on centre stage yelling "come and see come and see the real thing it's me" while the GOP is restructuring the nation without the attention of the media. That's not a government for the people or by the people it's a government for some with and in their common interest only.

" By 24, Sebastian Kurz was a member of the Austrian Cabinet. By 27, he was his country's foreign minister. And by 31, the debonair university dropout with the slicked-back mane and the Hollywood grin became the world's youngest leader." Andrew Bolt has so much in common with him and so much in common with Hitler too isn't it uncanny all were university dropouts. Kurz and Hitler didn't deny it Bolt does, claiming he was educated at Adelaide Uni. Phew, he won't scale their dizzy heights. But he will tell you he was asked.
"Kurz... has repeatedly appeared in public with the German rebels to bolster their zero-tolerance immigration stance and not so subtly take aim at his fellow chancellor..." Bolt would never write something like this never call them rebels they would be the heroes the ordinary citizens of Germany as are Reclaim Australia the UPF and the PLF
Reclaim
", Kurz swept to power last fall by mimicking the far-right's policies on the campaign trail, then chose as his coalition partner a far-right party that has frequently engaged in anti-Muslim and anti-refugee rhetoric... He did what the Liberals hoped Hanson would do for them but instead, she double-crossed them.
By the way, Bolt like these right-wingers haven't mentioned that the Italians had let a Danish ship land with 108 refugees on it just last weekend. Why would that be? It simply doesn't fit their narrative. Bolt had to find a reference and he found it in the Laredo Morning Times yes in TEXAS the most conservative state in the USA  to make this point seem newsworthy.

ABC FAILS TO REASSURE ABOUT MUSLIM WELFARISM

The ABC triumphantly declares Senator Fraser Anning wrong: "43 per cent of working age Muslims [here] are not in the workforce, and that is significantly less than the 56 per cent that Senator Anning was quoting. The national rate, by the way, is 24 per cent. So nearly double the number of Muslims aren't working or looking for work."  Double? Wow.

Bolt's playing with statistics and his favourite used term "OFF A SMALL BASE" he uses it to show how popular his Bolt Report is and the uses the same against the Muslim, Aboriginal and single mothers to claim how dysfunctional they are. Well, Bolt's show isn't making a profit is a tax deduction for News Corp and as such runs on Corporate  Welfare. His income is state subsidised and deserves as much scrutiny if not more because it's a larger annual cost that supporting Muslim migrants into Australia. Bolt seems to be very one-eyed about where our welfare money goes and he seems to think it's to him. On the whole, refugees tend to be more educated than he is more skilled and 63% of Australians see them as real Aussies even before they become citizens. Bolt is the son of migrants that landed in Australia and were given assistance on arrival as well. Yet, Bolt freely admits he never felt part of this country even though born here until he was in his mid 30's. The fact is he doesn't seem to feel he's part of it now and dreams of retiring to a country to which he wasn't born. At least the people he accuses of being slackers are slackers that are grateful for being here unlike Bolt.
Whatever the ABC does to counter bigots like Bolt at least it's with facts and not simply BS

Free Speech, not on Bolt's watch. He knows what boys should be and what girls should be and his tunnel vision is what has stood him in good stead and he has the platform to tell you. He attacks individuals whose views differ from his but makes no admission that Peter Alexanders was also free to act. Who is he complaining about? Peter Alexanders for listening? Or the mother who offered her opinion? An opinion by the way based possibly on the systemic nature of our Culture and Institutions that promote narrow expectations as to what boyhood actually means and by and large history shows us that the fit in our modern world is far too narrow and is increasingly bigoted psychologically inappropriate for beneficial and safe development of children. It's reflected in the entitlement of a mother to state her opinion. Alexanders made a commercial decision not a forced one to accept what was being said and they also are entitled. Bolt's simply out of date.
28/06/2018

First Question what relevance has the picture to the post?
Second question unanswered is quite clear could Andrew Bolt, Eric Abetz Craig Kelly or any of the Liberal party survive on the wages they earnt in 1985? Well the ABC has been forced to with 6million more people to serve. But they who got a rise today all expect the ABC can.
Tony Abbott lied became PM and cut the ABC revenue by $200 mill. That got rid of Radio Australia and some 200 others. He claimed digital services could replace RA the heartbeat of the Pacific that had connected us to the region culturally for 75 years. Instead, he has let the Chinese in to replace us and he cut Foreign aid to boot to lay down the welcome mat. Abbott became the Pillock and not the Pivot of the Pacific as was intended by the Americans and he will be remembered for that folly that goes unmentioned but the political angst it has created is resounding today.
The same approach has nevertheless been taken up by Turnbull with another cut of $84 mill showing absolutely no regard this time for regional Australia and expects that NBN Co Abbott's other major $100 bill disaster will be the remedy. The problem now is the NBN is reluctant to do.
Poor no Australian MPs just accepted a pay rise the PM being the highest paid in the world an award no doubt for reducing the services of the most trusted media organization in the country. Who is going to take up the slack? Not NewsCorp that's for sure. So it appears these idiots want the Chinese to come in and do for regional Australia what they allowed them to do in the Pacific.
