Andrew Bolt's Blog,18/1/16; Bolt's back and seems confused by his break but his values won't have changed; Bolt loves the ABC; Bolt Warming to Murdoch who is in oil in Syria protected by Israel; Muslims and Christians under attack by Israeli Jews; Let's here it from the ALP; $50 mill we paid for remains a secret;

How does Clive Palmer excuse this?

Clive Palmer is a disaffected Liberal, a businessman and was a generous Liberal Party donor. Did the Party turn him or his money away at the time, not on your life. Did he have a vested interest in removing the Carbon Tax a pillar of Tony Abbott's political campaign to ' ditch the bitch'? It seems to me Palmer has a point he did help finance the taxes removal. It could be said his money paid Newscorp and Andrew Bolt to help Bolt's dog along the way. Bolt refers to Abbott as his dog further down in his blogThe Bolt Report and my future

The Bolt Report and my future

"After appearing on ABC's Insiders for a decade, Bolt launched his own political show in May 2011 and announced his intention to beat Insiders in the ratings.
The Bolt Report did manage to pip Insiders on its second episode, but as of November last year was pulling less than half of the ABC program's audience.
According to OzTam figures, just 113,000 tuned in to see Bolt's program as opposed to 287,000 who watched Insiders."

Newscorp are no longer interested in producing  the costly Bolt Report and donating it free of charge to Ch10. It is a lowly rated program kicked from pillar to post by Ch10 which would prefer a better result even from nothing. After all they are a business and not just political donors. The Australian reported that they weren't happy and Bolt is miffed. As always he deflects the issue suggesting all's ok because the Bolt Report was 'free' and everybody is happy with freebies which isn't the case. Ouch! he dislikes the spin put on it that it just might be his fault and all that appears cost-less is.

Bolt goes on and calls Tony Abbott a dog which many of us would agree with. But because there's no Bolt favored dog in the next election Andrew has spat the dummy and says he no longer cares what happens. This certainly sounds more Dutch than Aussie to me. There's the fickleness of a spoilt child to it or a right wing wanker with no back bone. Only a fair weather friend is Bolt  the opposite of staunch  and Australian. 'Fair go' to all is Australian not ' spitting the dummy' which is just spoilt  selfish.

He seems absolutely un Boltish saying he loves working for the ABC and would love to do more for them. Remember all those Newscorper's he called spineless turncoats for joining Aunty and socialist media.

A study of warmist muddle

Bolt turns to Tony Thomas writer for Conservative Magazine Quadrant to kick off his 2016 statement on Climate Change. Tony Thomas to represents his thoughts on the Stanford University Report that No Hiatus in Warming can be found  in the Science of Climate Change. NOAA the USA's foremost Institute on Climate Change in the world has echoed the same in late 2015. Two noted institutions have both officially spoken to the evidence which suggests the opposite, that the planet has been heating since records began.

Thomas has no qualifications but like Bolt suggests he's an expert on the matter of Climate Science. A Climate denier like Bolt  Thomas becomes an outspoken anti-science advocate while accepting science as foremost in every other field. He  goes to doctors when ill, flys in order to get from A to B faster than driving and uses computers without considering the science that developed them. he doesn't regard these fields to be hocus pocus yet he and Bolt deny 97% of the climate science community to be legitimate source to base social policy on.

They call themselves sceptics not deniers trying to liken themselves to scientists while they accusing Climate Scientists of being little more than religious zealots or incompetents in their fields. This simply translates into little more than abuse. However if one takes the  numbers seriously and their non acceptance of the 97% consensus in the field having no knowledge how can they declare to be pro science in all other fields where the same methodology and peer reviewed system is used  addressing data. These two talking heads aren't sceptics their association with science is little more than a farce.

However it seems that today neither of these two advocates or any others for the fossil fuel industry have made any progress in running their arguments in fact the reverse is occurring across the globe and they are now regarded as not just cranks but can be seen for what they are. Their livlihoods are dependant on Newscorp where Rupert Murdoch carries heavy investments  in Genie oil, whose US investment is largely Fracking and whose illegal  oil exploration  is in the Israeli occupied Golan Heights of Syria. Murdoch is an investor of major significance. Don't expect Bolt to comment on any of this. Murdoch and Rothschild violate International Law for Oil in Syria

Murdoch and Rothschild violate International Law for Oil in Syria AnonHQ

Just when we think that the Syrian crisis can’t get any bigger… An American-based oil and gas company will soon be drilling in Syrian territory that has been illegally occupied by Israel since 1967 – the Golan Heights. The company, Genie Energy, has major investors … And Yes you guessed Right Rupert is in the oil business. So why should he print news that might be counter to his investment?
Genie Energy is “comprised of IDT Energy,” an American Shale Oil Company managing 50% interest in American Shale Oil, and 89% interest in Israel Energy Initiatives.

The constant certainty in politics: change

Is Labour looking foward to the election after next?

Amanda Vanstone 12:00 AM   Things in politics change. As unlikely as it now seems, things could pick up for Bill Shorten. I can't see how but I don't have a crystal ball.

A $50 mill secret we paid for

Jane Lee 6:58 PM   Secret volumes of the trade union royal commission's final report are to be made available to senators on the crossbench, but whether or not other senators will get access has yet to be decided.
Commissioner Dyson Heydon requested report confidentiality as it contained threats to witnesses who could be physically harmed if their identities were revealed.
