A Lonergan poll of 805 Warringah voters shows Mr Abbott trailing Ms Steggall 56-44 on a two-party-preferred basis. GetUp is campaigning against Mr Abbott in Warringah.

The poll also showed climate change and the environment is a top-order issue for Warringah voters.

Australians accepting of migrants but negative towards Islam, poll finds | World news | The Guardian

Since 2006 Australian studies showed anti-Muslim sentiment increased from 9% to 30% a new Study indicates it has increased even more to 50%. Why the change? Far -right conservatives have created this widened gap with the rise of Tony Abbott as PM along with the help of the Murdoch media. Over 3000 anti- Islam articles were written in the Herald Sun alone in 2017. We saw the media involvement in the 2005 Cronulla Riots. Their religious, racist, ethnic, and cultural vilification can't be denied any longer as a spur and enablement of right-wing terrorist and racist behavior by Australians towards those of the Islamic faith.
Theirs is an action not of free speech but propaganda an action, a concerted action to sell in the form of speech to alter peoples political minds attitudes and behaviors. Not all advertising is regarded as "free" it's regulated. They are recruiters of far right extremist thought and ought to be called out and treated as such. They are just as responsible a ISIS media is in enabling terror. with it's propaganda efforts. If anyone took their position on our media they'd be arrested as should agents of the right like Andrew Bolt. He has had a greater impact here in Australia than seen elsewhere, Shame on us!! (ODT)

Islam and other religions

51% of Australians had unfavourable sentiments towards Islam, and only 10% looked upon the religion positively, making Australia more negative than 17 of the other 22 countries surveyed.
In fact, 37% of people said they were “very unfavourable”– the most negative response available. This was far higher than the milder option of “fairly unfavourable” (14%), and made it the single most common response to the religion. 23% of people were neutral.

AG Robert Barr was found corrupting the very findings of the Mueller Report which caused special investigator Mueller to say so in terms that surprised everyone. Mueller told the AG that he's totally disguised the meaning that he had drawn and presented as the conclusions found. Rather than search out that real meaning, Mueller refers to, the Murdoch press has gone into protection mode of the false attributes as presented by AG Barr. Has Murdoch press or even Andrew Bolt made any effort to find out what Mueller's conclusions were and what Mueller himself meant by his words? Not on your life. It's all to protect the man Bolt once called an absolute dope and idiot Donald Trump.
The reason Trump remains a joke and Andrew Bolt with him, they both, cloak themselves with authority that's undeserved and whose energies actually rely on the businesses of billionaires.

Bolt and the Herald Sun have dragged up an old video and story they delivered once before why? Firstly to justify Israeli treatment of Palestinians. Needless to say, they don't bring up the words of Rabbis who have said that Palestinian children are vermin that need to be killed at death. These Rabbis are adults preaching this to adults, and they aren't words of children in a school play.
So now check the consequences and the "real" trends that have evolved in America. 75% of the terror-related mass shootings have been done by White Christian mainly youth and have increased in numbers since Trump became President. These mass shootings haven't been done by either Jews or Muslims but somewhat against them and other Christians.
Can Bolt list the numbers carried out by Muslims? No, he turns to a school play and suggests that's a trend. He actually tried to do the same some time ago and is using the same news story to deflect attention away from the real trending events in America the rising Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia created by Murdoch Sinclair and other right-wing media.
Muslims and Jews are actually coming together in increasing numbers and are uniting against the policies of Israel, Trump and increasingly extreme right-wing government and media whose front men like Bolt have enabled mass murder to happen. They are marching arm in arm in protest and Israel, and Trump are spending billions to cover it up.

What an exemplary racist Bolt is he accepts Scientology as a religion and part of our cultural landscape but refuses Indigenous Australians to be allowed part of theirs the must provide proof what did Scientology provide to achieve institutional acceptance? What evidence is there that Scientology should be given religious status "Not Much" either But Andrew Bolt has never really taken issue with their tax-free status. He has taken up the opinion of it seems just one man when it comes to Uluru who happens to be I guess like Boly a more indigenous Australian than most and part of Bolt's tribe.
