Fighting Fake News with REAL,9/4/20; ABC vs News Corp/IPA/LNP and Pell; UN and the Global Pandemic; Virus in the Community;

Minutes after Pell’s conviction was quashed by the high court, the News Corp columnist Andrew Bolt posted a blog saying the cardinal was innocent and pointing the finger at the ABC for allegedly conducting a witch-hunt to have him convicted.

One doesn't need to be a genius to note News Corp and the IPA have had a mutual self-interested agenda to rid the nation of the ABC. Bolt couldn't have a more nepotistic up-close and personal relationship with the IPA. His son James works for them Bolt did podcasts with John Roxham a regular on his Bolt Report and now father and son interchange on each other's shows. It seems "grooming" is a better-used term to describe what's occurring rather than any notion of any market place-merit.
Their strategy, pure and simple, is to rid Australia of the ABC the most trusted news service in the country and to set up a quid pro quo relationship as exists in the USA between Murdoch Media's Fox Corp and Trump's WhiteHouse where the interchange of staff is akin to a freeway. Their ambition is to demonise all other media as fake and take control of the political/economic narrative of the nation in the interests of Citizens United and other donor associated think tanks that represent only  1% of the country.
 The IPA has grown in immense influence in Australia while our unions have been reduced. They have developed pathways to parliament for their staff and like no other association this century have seen their 75 points political plan taken up as LNP policies. It may have begun with Howard, but they were accelerated with the coming of Abbott.
No Cut's to the ABC has become 1000 cuts under Abbott/Turnbull/ Morrison's LNP despite the outcry of Australians. So much so the ABC budget has been flatlined back to 1984. Death by a 1000 cuts is better understood as the News Corp/IPA/ LNP-2020 virus, and it's a terminal condition no matter the term. (ODT)

Andrew Bolt  Murdochian is spreading the Anti-China Conspiracy virus "imagine" what China does to leakers of truth? Well, we don't need to imagine what America does it expels and demotes people from the White House and employs Murdoch's spin doctors to take their place and it's not just one. So much so the White House admin starts to be indistinguishable from Fox Corp. Now Bolt certainly didn't research this beat-up himself he hates details. So "imagine" it's not hard to where Bolt got this conspiracy in the first place.

Fox News is being sued in the US we can't be paying attention to that news. So let's create some anti- China propaganda and hope some right-wing nutters start attacking more Asian Aussies on our streets.

Ray Hadley is a coward. He again abused me on 2GB after I asked for an apology for a previous attack in which he accused me of "creepy behaviour" and having "a history of defending people who are convicted of paedophilia" - meaning George Pell, now declared innocent. I asked to go on air for a right of reply, but he refused. Ray has his own history.

Hadley is right Bolt indirectly did defend paedophilia, and he did it when defending Milo when he publicly supported it. He's been defending Milo ever since when others dropped him like a hot coal. Someone that genuinely believes in paedophile rights.

CORONAVIRUS: NSW EYES EASING RESTRICTIONS NEXT MONTH. TOO SLOW

At last, there's talk about an exit strategy, but this timeline should be much shorter: "The virus infection curve in NSW is running so flat that authorities are considering ­relaxing restrictions as soon as May 1 in a bid to revive small business." I said last week that the relaxations could start by next week if we took a few extra precautions.

 Bolt's never been too clear only being safe trying not to be sued when he talks "extra precautions" He provides a broad sketch but no specifics on the capacity to exercise the precautions. But that's Bolt to a tee. Did you know he sells himself as Australia's foremost expert on Climate Change too? However, he doesn't seem to understand the meaning of global, a world without borders and Australia's responsibility to that. The LNP certainly has a history going to war and making young men die for no reason. Bolt is doing much the same declaring the pandemic over and the cure worse than the illness happily allowing people to die before their time and simply writing it off as collateral damage.

 

SHAME ON PELL PERSECUTORS!

COLUMN Cardinal George Pell is innocent. Shame on all those who persecuted him in one of our nation’s greatest miscarriages of justice. The High Court judges yesterday spoke with one voice – seven to zero – that Pell should never have been convicted of the improbable rape of two boys in his Cathedral. But don’t tell me to have faith in our justice system.

No, he's not the High Court merely overturned the jury's decision on a TECHNICALITY. Nowhere was he pronounced innocent except in the hollows of Bolt's mind.  However, Pell was charged, and a jury was compelled to make a decision based on the evidence before them, and Pell was deemed and pronounced GUILTY. The appeal and High Court then attended to the technicalities of that decision. 

GEORGE PELL IS INNOCENT. HERE'S WHY THE HIGH COURT CLEARED HIM - AND NOT ON A "TECHNICALITY"

George Pell is innocent, and shame on the police, courts and media who trashed and persecuted him, and sent him to jail. What a sinister witch hunt. Well, Conservative Bolt pays no respect to our legal system our laws or the due process required to execute them. A process intended to make us all equal under the sun. To find an error in that process was made isn't a statement of innocence. Bolt's never been shy of telling us others were guilty when they got off due to a technicality. The one thing you won't find Bolt doing is standing nose to nose arguing the finer points of law with a QC. The few times he has been witnessed trying he's melted into silence. Why is that so?

 

FLU VS THIS COVID-19: WHY THE DIFFERENT POLICY?

An important comparison. In the 2017 flu season: 1255 Australians died, 75 per cent of the dead were over 80,  and nursing homes were locked down. In this 2020 COVID-19 season: 48 Australians have so far died, 50 per cent of the dead were over 80, and all homes are locked down. Even stranger, flu killed the young, this new virus hasn't.

State-Funded Institutions seem according to Bolt a problem in a Democracy? Apparently, Mussolini's model of a Corporate Fascist State would provide a more equitable form of Justice or an American system where judges are political appointments and partisan. Voting for the local Sherrif would in Bolt's mind be fairer, but they all need to be privately funded. In most cases of privately funded Justice, the Mafia and Organized Crime spring to mind. Bolt's Democracy, no doubt.

Firstly where's the 'we' in this discussion and since when is "news" not to be reported. The ABC was only a part of the media in Australia reporting on Pell's circumstances but reporting all sides not just one. It's the "all sides" that has Henderson saying that the public shouldn't have been party to this news. Which is self evidently biased on his part.

Henderson on Cassidy "I don't think he knows much about the law. I could be wrong there" what sort of ignorant non-factual statement is that? It's Gerrard Henderson's way of saying nothing. 

Bolt up to this point hasn't said anything in the way of information other than cheering Henderson on. The point to be made is here are two men, neither lawyers brushing over as fast as possible the technicalities of the law on which the decision was made to act like fishwives yelling over a fence at those in the media they disagree with but primarily to push the barrow for privatised news.

Murdoch closed a British Newspaper News of the World declared a disgrace in order not to be jailed in the UK and to save his licence. He's signed a contract with the devil in the US to run a propaganda agency for the Whitehouse and bleeding money here wants to control Australia's news output in much the same way PRIVATELY at the behest of the 1% association the IPA on behalf of the LNP. Thank God for the ABC
