Fighting Fake News with REAL,9/4/20; ABC recieves 45k Questions 3.8% on Economy an Businee; Conservarives fighting each other; Fake News and Ignorance;

We asked for your questions about coronavirus and boy were there a lot of them. Over the past month we received 45,000 questions, ranging from which is better: bar soap or liquid soap, to whether you should still try and make a baby during a pandemic.
The ABC was asked 45,000 questions about coronavirus. Here's what we learned
Of the 45,000 questions asked by Australians, the Economy and Business accounted for 3.8% about the same as the global death rate for those that have to date caught the virus. The world has put Coronavirus at the top of its emergency list Murdoch Media here give it little more importance than the common flu and have the Economy and Business as if they were the most important question on Australian minds. Sorry they are the IPA idealogues spreading Fake News.

The Age's View
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "the greatest American friend that Britain ever found". How different times are today, when it seems to be every nation for itself.
Mr Trump has dedicated his energies to bickering and blame-shifting, putting him at odds with international allies and even the governors of his own United States. It might well be said that the WHO's conduct in this crisis has left it open to attack - but the President seems less interested in reform of a rules-based order than he is in wrecking all rules and letting the devil take the hindmost.
The strength of such rules depends upon the willingness of other major powers to adhere to them, yet the reaction of Saudi Arabia to UN criticism of its war on Yemen and the US to investigation of its troops' actions in Afghanistan gives us little cause for hope. If we want a better China, we need to see a better America and European Union that live up to their founding visions and show leadership in eradicating this virus wherever it is found.
The problems created by the coronavirus may require us to physically self-isolate, but they cannot be defeated in national isolation or by peddling North Korea-style myths of self-reliance. We certainly need to revisit the terms of our relationship with and dependence upon Beijing. But we must not forget the role global trade and exchange has played in lifting mankind out of poverty and the ill health that defined previous eras. From the South Pacific to South-east Asia, Africa to Latin America and New York to Wuhan, only together can we overcome this challenge.

Coronavirus: No nation can conquer COVID-19 on its own

  1. The job market has collapsed — but in these few industries, workers are in demand

The coronavirus pandemic has led advertisements for new jobs to plunge 65 per cent compared with the same time last year, data from job ads website SEEK showed.
The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on the job market, new data confirms.
Job ads are down 65% and 60 News Corp publications closed. Is this the only reason he's yelling back to work back to work concerned he may be noticed as unessential? Who are his current advertisers?

Ch9 while still very much a China baiter with little evidence on which to base its claims is certainly not as isolationist as either Murdoch Media or Trump.

FAKE NEWS

TONIGHT: PELL WITCH HUNT - POLICE CHARGED PELL 26 TIMES FOR ZERO WINS

On The Bolt Report on Sky at 7pm: Minister Don Harwin, hypocrite twice over for breaking stay-home rule. Plus TV exposed: the media sees empty hospital beds but still thinks the coronavirus is creating a hospital crisis. And was Victoria Police out to destroy Cardinal Pell, charging him 26 times with crimes so unlikely that every charge failed?

Bolt seems to be what Gerrard Henderson called Barry Cassidy on the Bolt Report ignorance of not just the law. While Henderson paid Cassidy respect nobody publicly does the same for Andrew Bolt.  Bolt is ignorant. The Police don't bring charges against people the DPP do and they aren't the police.

IT'S NOW URGENT: GET US BACK TO WORK

I was abused for saying this last week, but who can now deny the urgent truth: "Things have changed with this coronavirus panic. Now Australians can be – must be – back at work within two weeks." Now business leaders are sounding the alarm at the Morrison Government's refusal to accept victory over the virus.

No it's Bolt's refusal to accept that "we" on a global level and only the isolationist "me" on domestic one that's cock-a-mamy. He wants industry back in the driver's seat in two weeks even before the precautions he said were required are put in place. No need for universal testing anymore it seems. No need for that bubble wrap around the elderly or the vulnerable anymore either.
The economy needs to employ how many? Bolt doesn't say only has some vague but urgent notion that it can't be let changed. However, if a change is necessary it's best determined as always from the top down and by the mythical "free market" and not a regulated one.
Note will Bolt be advocating the 60 News Corp local papers it shut to be reopened? Is that to be left to News Corp to choose? Will their advertisers simply flood back because consumers are lining up to buy and invest in what they were selling. Will the rush back to work see Bolt live a life of less social distancing? I don't think so he believes Melbourne is virus central due to Multiculturalism.

HERE'S WHAT RAY HADLEY SHOULD APOLOGISE FOR

Ray Hadley should apologise for sliming me as "soft on pedophiles" when I defended George Pell. But he was weak and refused to let me on air to defend myself when he attacked me yet again. Here is exactly what he should apologise for, and what I think of his behaviour. Watch.
Great to see these two morons go at it but it's little more than show for a day as they both the same ideological bent. Remember how Bolt insisted Miranda Devine kowtow to his superiority on The Steve Price Show believing he had some proprietorial rights to the show while Steve was away? Well, we saw the outcome of that wanker posturing with Bolt limping off in silence and his tail between his legs. It wasn't that long after when his contract came up for renewal it wasn't. Here he is puffing himself up to be larger than he is again calling Hadley a pussy.
AS for soft on paedophilia Hadley was right Bolt defended Milo when he tried to show the softer side of his experiences. Milo was dropped by everyone but Bolt who supported him in a very I'am Andrew Bolt sort of way.
Andrew Bolt runs a moderated blog, and a moderated  Television show his guests selectively chosen to support a show that should aptly be named One Direction. When Bolt accidentally finds himself confronted by a guest unexpectedly they simply get cut off with the "fake promise" we will have X back to continue this another time". Debate could well just be another river in Egypt.
