HOW THE ABC STITCHED UP PAULINE HANSON

Here's how the ABC's Four Corners on Monday stitched up Pauline Hanson and broke the law doing it.

 Bolt believes it's not the place of media or journalism to reveal or investigate what's behind the curtain their job is merely to decorate it. Disregarded and trashed candidates and supporters have no right of access to media to have their story told. The possibility of electoral fraud is to remain a secret and definitely not an area of media inquiry unless it's a union. These are apparently Bolt principles and if you give it any consideration Tony Abbott's principles too when he expected the ABC to support everything he does like a cheer squad. Hide as much as you can don't let the public know the reality behind the scenes and if they do find out attack the messenger  or the victims not the perps. 

The ABC didn't stitch Pauline Hanson up she managed to do that all on her own by simply being who she is. Being invited back to One Nation after 20 years and then treating her supporters like cockroaches.

Contracts requiring all printing be done by James Ashby's printing company at inflated prices no questions asked. Sounds very despotic and non free market to me. If dissatisfied with One Nation when in office and wishing to leave a payment of $ 250,000 is required. Is Pauline selling a commercial franchise or running a political party?  If she's running a political party and  it seems Andrew Bolt supports these actions what sort of traditionalist is he because it's certainly  not being run as a political party but a commercial enterprise. Secreted donations in other peoples names threats all sound like a mafia organization. You'd never have heard it from Andrew Bolt because he bats for that team her team and it's principles. 

Thank god for the ABC they aren't playing for any team other than Australia. They weren't forgiving of the left when Craig Thomson was about, and they aren't forgiving now on Hanson. They are revealing the facts as presented by ex supporters who want a voice. In  investigating what are presented as facts and they pose questions and   allow the audience to make the judgement and editorialize if they wish. Hanson seems  to be doing what Hanson does best and repeating the past imploding a party in secret and now doing it in public where it should be. If she repeats this a few more times the public will walk leaving Bolt blubbering PR on her behalf as he does Tony Abbott. Actually you'd think Bolt would be pleased because Hanson voters are most likely Tony's if he takes off the burka.

IN DEFENCE OF MARK LATHAM

Many recent attacks on Mark Latham have been pathetic and hypocritically vicious. Many critics exaggerated his sins and want Latham silenced not because he's rude but because he's right. Janet Albrechtsen takes on Annabel Crabb's snide abuse while Alan Jones says it best: Latham's critics should just take "a spoonful of cement and harden up".

  It's a joke Bolt  to see Bolt so unaggressive to Sky the organization that actually sacked Latham. Annabel Crabbe and Tony Jones didn't sack Latham Sky sacked him. All these other journalists from the ABC commented after the event. Bolt makes no comment on the public petition to bring Latham back nor does he mention the fact that he certainly didn't sign that petition and the fact that he's writing about Latham's sackking almost a week later.  Bolt's posturing of faux unity is for his own image not Latham's he's not going out on strike and neither are the rest of Sky staff . Bolt's gutless  bravado is encapsulated in "Albrechtsen does, however, defend Sky's decision to sack Latham, saying he was just too rude to be effective (or perhaps commercially viable, given the cost of lawyers). Bolt's lawyers  and security costs are far more than Latham's and he still has his job . He's a wimp and certainly not an Australian

A RING TO BIND THEM TO THEIR MASTER'S WILL

This is ridiculous - and even oppressive. Bosses at big companies like Qantas and Google have "suggested" their employees wear black rings with a gap to show they support same-sex marriage. Or show that they have a future at their company, perhaps, because it's not quite clear how this push for "tolerance" quite works now.

 All Bolt offers is what you might expect of a pouting bully mockery. However misplaced mockery just magnifies the confused attitude of homophobics like Bolt, Bolt takes out his feather whip against his corporate masters in case they withhold their advertising should he roar like a lion. Imagine if Bolt took to these corporate clients like Latham took to a defenseless schoolboy you can't because you can't imagine Bolt has the Chutzpah.

Excellent. A refusal to betray her own culture and submit as a woman: "British Prime Minister Theresa May has forgone wearing a headscarf during her visit to Saudi Arabia." Which is not what our Foreign Minister Julie Bishop did in Iran.

Imagine inviting Bolt into your home and his attitude and imagine being invited into Bolt's home and what would be expected of you. MORE WARNINGS OF A CRASH WE'LL IGNORE

Two more warnings that we're headed for strife as we spend more than we earn, individually and through government. First, the Reserve Bank says housing debts are rising twice as fast as incomes, with banks are lending to people who can't  repay. Second, former Future Fund boss David Murray says a huge property collapse can't be ruled out. 

 Who is Bolt warning about? The government for buying houses it sounds like? Or is it the lack of regulation over the banks lending practices? Bolt's a free market warrior isn't he? He hardly seems concerned about government debt. He seems overly concerned about market debt lending practices of the banks whose business is debt. Is Bolt railing about Capitalism where today debt is the driving force. The Abbott government deregulated the banking and lending industries and now we are watching 2008 evolving in Australia. Are the banks holding onto mortgages that will never be paid and holding over valued collateral? Will Bolt be asked to bail the banks out? Is that his concern his hip pocket or the governments.

Why on earth has Bolt distorted  a media article only to bring it to our attention that he needs to protect Tony Abbot's good name? He does it so badly, he raises the suspicion that Abbott was being homophobic. The confusion developed because the Australian ambassador to France resigned and it caused a huge flurry in diplomatic circles . Had this not occurred Hartcher's attention would not have been drawn to it. Hartcher begins with the  fact:

"Australia's ambassador to France offered his resignation after an incident while greeting Tony Abbott as he arrived in Paris on Anzac Day."

 Bolt refers to this as his source and in it there is no reference whatsoever to any suggestion of homophobia.   The reference Bolt makes then is to  an interview on 2GB and an accompanied wink. This can't be regarded as a source for this blog as there is  neither a transcript nor an  interviewer mentioned. All we have is Bolt's word for what and how something might or might not have been said in what context we don't know.

What we do know Bolt has taken advantage of it to raise himself yet again as some dragon slayer on behalf of Abbott where I suspect there were only dragons of his own making. Hartcher refers to the confusion  as an issue over protocol in his SMH article. 

What do we get from Bolt? He embellishes it to the nth degree takes it to Timbuktu and back drawing in names from here there and everywhere making out it's been the issue of the month only to wind up in the end where Hartchers article does. That  the issue was  a matter of protocol. Hartcher doesn't even elaborate on the resignation. But Don Quixote Bolt demands an apology about some homophobic smear that certainly isn't in print and at best is rumoured to have been heard on 2GB . In doing so he's made mention that Abbott is not homophobic some three times. The man does protest to much.

 

 

Vote Labor and see the public service bill soar

Bolt doesn't want to see investment in Education which is an investment in the future. He doesn't want to see any improvement in transport in an expanding city. Because it will create jobs which create spending which which creates revenue. Bolt the curmudgeon can only moan a bigger public service a bigger public service. Yes we were the most livable city once until the one term Libs took over and anyone interested read Andrew Bolt. He soon fixed that.

Matthew Guy now there's an ideas man for you 50 ++ high rise towers signed off creating an area  in Melbourne which will be the most dense in the world. He's developers dream creating apartment density and space smaller than Hong Kong.  Buildings will be so close together that residents will have that  midnight  feeling all year round. Between  the previous LNP government and Bolt's PR Melbourne has been dragged down to their level in 12 months. Guys level anyway, he suffers ducks disease.

Remember Ventnor the planning permit overridden and passed for mates that was sprung for what it was a mates deal. It was quickly reversed to save some embarrassment and the government had to pay a secret 3mill + settlement to make it disappear. Well that was all  little Matty's doing.

You know the one that didn't allow Gillian Triggs the right to criticize the LNP for it's treatment of children on Manus or Nauru because of something they'd done in the past.
