Selective reporting by Bolt always deliver us crimes committed by individuals around Australia.  Crimes not of the kind  committed daily by every ordinary Australian but by Australian Muslims. Because crimes in general do not occur in this country and if they do you won't hear of them from Bolt.

There is intent to Bolt's reports and that is to cast a shadow of fear over not just Melbourne but the whole country suggesting by innuendo that we are all potentially in danger and are the victims of Muslim hate and crime. Bolt revels in  these stories. It doesn't matter whether these criminals have  nothing in common they have Islam in common and it's that which counts.

Bolt like bigots of the past who once spread rumors of Catholic dagoes wandering the streets of Melbourne armed with knives ready to jump any innocent protestantAussie they come across. Or how Vietnamese gangs had taken over our streets. Bolt's purpose is to put fear in the mind of his readers and if it's already there to reinforce the bigotry it creates. He lets his  know under Labor our Immigration laws were  slack  but now the person best able to keep us safe from these criminals and terrorists is Tony Abbott. When push comes to shove Abbott's the only one prepared to do what's necessary to protect us.

Bolt's articles are a double edged knife because they are written in the hope of creating a sense of alienation in those he's writing about basically he's quite happy to try to divide Australia so he can then say it's Abbott and Captain Hastie who  know how to deal with these rag heads. Given that the Liberal financial and ideological support can only be found among the shrinking few wealthy, transnational mega corporations, or in corporations in pivotal industries basically capital in Australia.  It's no surprise the shrinking middle class and professional classes are to be found in other institutional and cultural areas and are starting to feel less than secure.  Is it any surprise that they don't support a government that seems to ignore their interests by removing their civil liberties previous rights and putting downward pressure on their incomes. The propaganda and promises of the right are being recognized for what they are just a smokescreen for downward mobility. Furthermore grassroots Liberal organizations simply don't exist  within these areas and that goes a long way to explain their dwindling support for the Liberal Party.

 Heading Bolt's list of targets needing to be privatized and not publicly funded is the ABC. Which News Corp greedily has it's eyes on.  Expanding markets can be done one of two ways the cheapest being the carving up of  the opposition. That Thursday dinner Abbott had with Murdoch would have been one that reinforced the promises and mutual interests of both these men. Their problem is not only the next election but to ensure a majority in the upper house.

The problem however isn't because these social and cultural institutions aren't private the problem is that the single minded focus on profit doesn't fulfill the needs of everyone and user pays approach reduces activities to a few. Basically Conservatives running social and cultural institutions with a stick will inevitably be counterproductive without grassroots support which they don't have. However these issues are then really only treated as political sideshows which distract from real economic issues they can't or won't deal with in the media. We once knew Wayne Swan but who is  Joe Hockey?

It's lack has kept the indigenous poor for 220 years. So Bolt's support of Hockey's suggestion is "bullshit"

Given that single income families have fast disappeared since the 80's, that the middle class is shrinking and the income gap is increasing more people are finding themselves in need of welfare. The Liberal answer of ever stringent policing and austerity will and has done nothing to find jobs for the 800,000 unemployed. There are 12 people looking for every job available in the country. That's not distinguishing those with families to support. Attacking penalty rates is certainly not a job growth policy. People need to have savings in order to spend and that no longer seems possible. We carry the highest credit card debt per individual in the world now. 

Home ownership has given away to investment and the continued accumulation of wealth by those already with it. All things show that the rich are getting richer and more easily. He also had dinner with Scott Morrison on the Friday leaked by big mouth Bolt in his blog for his own ego and self interest trying to show he's part of the inner circle rather than just another lap dog and tool of the hive that calls Murdoch "sir".

I think Bolt's effort to suggest the ALP is not a democratic party falls short given their very public and transparent conference held recently compared with the very locked door meetings held by the Liberal Party. Martin Ferguson works for the Mining Industry he's a member of the ALP and believes union influence hampers the ALP all of which goes to show that Democracy exists in the Labor Party. It no longer does in the Tow the line Liberal Party. 

What associations are the working class or even the middle class allowed that aren't a threat? What balance is there in any democracy if only the conservatives and big business are allowed to rub shoulders.

If there was a commission into the activities of big business one would see far greater losses to the community than ever came to light in the unions. Corporations negotiate Unions are demonized in the public arena.

So if they even apply the art of lawfare the only rights available to them in defence of attack the conservatives scream for the laws to be changed rather than judgements to be made just in case they turn out to be revealed for what they are the users and abusers of public interest 85% of the electorate.

Am I hearing that in recent times Tony Abbott has moved and stayed on the right? Pardon me since Hockey's second budget and the threatened spill what we have witnessed is a Rocky Horror Show jump to the left by Abbott. Promising tax cuts, telling us the economy is in good shape, acknowledging the existence of climate change, softening his attack on pensioners,  promising ship building, among other things and trying to appease a disgruntled electorate to regain some poll strength. It hasn't worked because it's so obviously political theatrics. 

Abbott's inability to govern,negotiate and compromise has been  blamed on everyone other than them selves by News Corp the rest of MSM get howled down for shining some light on the truth or even questioning the world as presented by Murdhoch.

It's amazing how Bolt let's fly with the figures collected by The Daily Telegraph ever so easily. Bolt makes the $ sums sing by not mentioning that whatever it was that was punched into the Telegraphs calculator was for Tony Burke's entire political life. News Corp with little else to do but keep Abbott under wraps seems to believe beating up Burke's expenses is the way to go so it's a full frontal attack again.

However haven't they got the message that politicians are self interested animals and no Party wants to go down that road anymore. Is this Tony's idea of distraction and revenge? Is it the PMO? Is it a means of deflecting the heat away from the Liberal party back room and volume of silence that exists about the missing $2 million. What the Rachel Dolezal  case has to do with Bolt is obscure. Dolezal has been found to be lying. Bolt accused " white aborigines" of race hustling but was proven wrong in every aspect of these peoples lives. Bolt has persistently let everybody know he was the victim of racism because as far as he is concerned racism does not exist in his mind a contrary opinion to our courts. Bolt runs the the same line as does the extreme right wing of America when it comes to African Americans and Native American Indians. Powerline in fact like Bolt often claims if there is any racism it's  in reverse and  white America are victims.

Why on earth has Bolt distorted  a media article only to bring it to our attention that he needs to protect Tony Abbot's good name? He does it so badly, he raises the suspicion that Abbott was being homophobic. The confusion developed because the Australian ambassador to France resigned and it caused a huge flurry in diplomatic circles . Had this not occurred Hartcher's attention would not have been drawn to it. Hartcher begins with the  fact:

 Bolt refers to this as his source and in it there is no reference whatsoever to any suggestion of homophobia.   The reference Bolt makes then is to  an interview on 2GB and an accompanied wink. This can't be regarded as a source for this blog as there is  neither a transcript nor an  interviewer mentioned. All we have is Bolt's word for what and how something might or might not have been said in what context we don't know.

What we do know Bolt has taken advantage of it to raise himself yet again as some dragon slayer on behalf of Abbott where I suspect there were only dragons of his own making. Hartcher refers to the confusion  as an issue over protocol in his SMH article. 

What do we get from Bolt? He embellishes it to the nth degree takes it to Timbuktu and back drawing in names from here there and everywhere making out it's been the issue of the month only to wind up in the end where Hartchers article does. That  the issue was  a matter of protocol. Hartcher doesn't even elaborate on the resignation. But Don Quixote Bolt demands an apology about some homophobic smear that certainly isn't in print and at best is rumoured to have been heard on 2GB . In doing so he's made mention that Abbott is not homophobic some three times. The man does protest to much.

Problems common to all cities of the world for as long as we can remember. Our biggest shame unfortunately was how we attended to the problems of our indigenous peoples. However most of us didn't notice because we were urban and rarely came in contact with them. A TV program by Mike Walsh reflected the misconception most of us in fact had.

Now read Bolt In The Herald -Sun and this blog. The city is under siege ,his Australian dream is under attack and we need to set up barricades between them and us gather the troops for war. The government, ASIO,AFP, ADF and police need to militarized to save the Australian people and Bolt's way of life from the rising threat from within and from without. This is not a slow brewing social problem it's one of immediate concern and needs immediate attention.

Yes we do have problems in this country,  youth unemployment, lack of jobs, systemic disadvantage and marginalization of social groups, all in a slowing economy that this governments policies are failing to address. The blame game that Bolt is playing is a mere distraction from much more urgent realities. can you imagine if we allowed News Corp to get the ABC, or that the government actually controlled ABC News just how uninformed this country would become.

Paul Kelly once head of News Corp pointed out in the spirit of 'free speech' the privileged  position Bolt's platform at News Corp actually provides. Kelly once Bolt's boss understands it only too well. Kelly to Bolt's chagrin questioned the wisdom of the organization to allow Bolt to run his no vote to this public referendum as if a personal campaign. Maybe Kelly in fact remembers that Murdoch himself is not so disturbed by this constitutional recognition. However Kelly I'm sure recognized the danger to the democratic process that Bolt's single minded conversation adds and as an ex editor in chief also wonders whether the powers to be pulling Bolt's strings will let him continue. Kelly should be admired for asking the question and saying he'd put the breaks on the Bolt.

Bolt seem as obtuse as ever when he talks of the Muslim invasion and then turns and likens it  to the racial division of Israeli Jews. Askinazy, Sephardic, Black, white, Frum, and Liberal practicing and non practising and then the culturally diverse and it's impact  in a multicultural society. No Bolt breaks it down to black and white but masks it a 'culturally' significant so as not to be labeled what he is an ultra-racist. In other words Bolt is all over the shop mixing race culture and faith when discussing it's impact on Israel an already multicultural society. He's basically preaching the separation of an elect and elite  but undefined group from various other groups defined by him.  He can't even identify his own milieu . 

He's acting like a  Boor but as a declared agnostic but  wannabe preacher he has little grip on which group he actually belongs to. Like the Germans once did he might pragmatically require all citizens in Australia to go to their respective Town-halls  to be identified, sorted and be given ID papers so our society can move on in 'his' orderly plan.

Systemic discrimination and right wing governments know only force and the gun. Israeli Ethiopians in army uniform can die for Israel but can't walk the street alone  without being indiscriminately attacked by police.

Bolt is nominating himself or a clone for the unbiased post of Chairman and CEO of the ABC . Politicians favour Murdoch's Sky News Chief Angelos Frangopoulos. 

On any count the LNP don't believe the ABC should be a Peoples news service. It shouldn't ask questions of government it should support government.  It needs to be a Government News Service. The ABC needs to be more like Russia's Pravda or Tass an extension of government propaganda to provide the information citizens need to know. For god sake hasn't anybody read Orwell?

If only  the Australian Media was like News Corp and was of one mind with  Government  we could move forward with our unquestionable long term planning. Corporate management of  the nation's economy, Privatisation of all utilities and public services, Welfare decided on strict economic principles supplemented charitable gifts. Prisons for the wayward to be re training boot camps and used to eliminate any form of multicultural thought.

 However if Labor by any chance of the imagination could  win power again the ABC needs to revert back to it's current critical role and become the peoples broadcaster.

Example the government openly won't reveal government MP's travelling expenses. "It might put Australia at a disadvantage " if they were in the public realm.
